@All_things_RC. absolutely beautiful place to fly. Lovely views. It was a brilliant day, I'd strongly recommend it to anyone. Thanks for the comment buddy. Have fun with the m4 👍🏻👌
It's so fun to see how far you've come and how much you continue to improve! So many people out there into Heli's, and not far from you, I'm jealous for real! I would've had the Venom up a LONG while ago if I had all those smiling faces willing to help. Speaking of the Venom, It's all together now. However, my problem now is, I had to purchase another Receiver Plate that I will be cutting down to fit on the 2 spars in front, to mount my Spektrum Satellite Receiver. Once I get that done, I can finally setup the FBL to the Radio. The plate arrives tomorrow, and I bought a 9 inch extension for the Satellite, as the one it comes with is WAY WAY too long. I'm so glad to see you had a great day my friend! Yeah yeah, Mikado Mikado Mikado, LOL.
@AnythingEverythingRC-rc1yc much appreciated mate, you'll have your rs4 up in the air in no time for sure. I'm now off to work, so I'll watch your new video tonight. It gives me something to look forward to for when I get in. Speak soon mate happy flying 👍🏻
Hi! Your collective pitch management is getting better and better! I love those fluent back and frontflips and rolls with your SAB Goblin! I wonder if the sounds of the other helicopters flying behind and besides you was destracting you? I probably would be very nervous because I am used to fly alone in almost complete silence... But this event looks like a lot of fun in such a beautiful location!! I hope to be at ROTOR LIVE in Germany next year!!
@RCCopterLove arhh, thank you. Its all thanks to lots of sim time lol. Ref flying along side other heli flyers YES it was very nerv racking for sure but arfter my first flight my nerves calmed down. It was an absolutely fantastic day and a great experience. I'll be attending the next gathering in April for the fly out. 🤞you get to go to Germany for the show. It'll be an eye opener for you for sure. All the best mate 👍🏻 👌
Great flying - discovered your channel a couple of days ago, fantastic progression. I’m new to rc helicopters and at the sim stage (struggling to get to idle1 stage), I have a Goofly S1 & S2 which I yet to fly - have you got any tips, advice things you would and wouldn’t have done would be really appreciated - thanks Ray.
@RaymondVidler Hi there, firstly thank you for subscribing to the channel, this is why I do the videos to help others. So first thing I'd say is to definitely nail the sim in 3d mode which I can see your already doing. Secondly I'd personally wouldn't worry about idle up 1 yet in my opinion. I'd recommend when your ready to go to a field with semi long grass use your s1 and just get the heli up to a hover , maybe about 4/5 feet hold it there for a couple of seconds then land and keep repeating this till your comftable with that. Then fly forwards and then back to you and then left or right on the aileron. Just take it easy. 2 thing to always remember is that flying an rc heli takes time to learn and Secondly, you will crash for sure, but if you can not let these two hold you back your be absolutely fine. Maybe watch my m1 and m2 videos that I first did in 3d mode and you'll be able to see what I mean ref the slow and low flights. I hope this helps. I may do a video on this question you have asked as a video may be easier than writing a massive long reply. Thanks for your comment. Just remember it's all about having fun and staying safe. Happy flying buddy 👍🏻
