2:20-2:26 reminds me a bit of MMX’s Spark Mandrill. Was that deliberate or accidental? (Same goes, to a lesser extent, for 3:18 and 3:33) Another - albeit kinda weird - thing I noticed is that this remix (and several others) seems to use a variation of the chorus’ chord sequence that sounds really damn close to Never Gonna Give You Up (just try humming it at 1:28. Maybe transpose it up a step or two if you’re not hearing it)

I also love how you kept it fairly calm (as in, it wasn't explosive and OTT like many of your other arrangements) but still gave it that hint of metal. As for what's next... Oh. OH. I don't know what exactly the key is, but having listened to a fair bit of DKC music and remixes, all the original music has a similar feel that makes it iconic, while some remakes and remixes fail to capture that feel imo, your remixes do it beautifully. Love it!
