This album is truly a masterpiece. Excellent work, you have given DKC and music fans something to enjoy for years and years to come! The fullness of each of these songs while still capturing that exact same atmosphere that the original SNES sound track did almost leaves me speechless.
Loved Donkey Kong ever since I was a kid. As an adult, DK games now not only bring incredible platforming and crazy set pieces, they also bring the scenery, the being part of not a video game but an adventure. Every stage and their visuals have so much life that you can feel through the screen, the music is banana icing on a masterfully crafted cake. This rendition of these soundtracks captures the embodiment of what DK games are: An adventure, where you will face many dangers in many shapes from Kremlins to dangerous platforming, it's you against all odds. And yet, while mysterious, dangerous and at times menacing, the soundtrack only brings you hope by driving you through challenges while you gaze at unique scenery. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart, to bring back this thrilling feeling in me, a grown-ass 34 year-old gamer who just can't get enough of video games and incredible music.

There's so much variety and such a sense of greatness in the Donkey Kong Country soundtracks. The brief moment in the Super Mario Bros movie when Mario, Peach and Toad approach the gate to the Jungle Kingdom and we hear that little orchestrated bit of DK Island Swing sent chills through me. A Donkey Kong Country movie has been a dream of mine since I was 6 years old. To hear that music with a big orchestrated movie score would be so euphoric.
Unfortunately, for a movie, they'd use generic original music or existing mainstream tracks that don't really fit but appeal to TikTok users. I'd love a Mario film with Galaxy style music or a DK film with this soundtrack :)
I have been waiting for someone to create something like this practically my whole life since I played these games on a tiny TV. Fantastic job! Jib Jig was always my favorite song and I would sing it out loud all the time. I always wondered if anyone would ever make an epic cover one day...Thank you! :)

【Shades Finnish Pirates】Pretty epic sound for a DK game, not diminishing the glory of DK but still this sounds great i get goosepumps and i think this is how the tracks should sound at our current day & age. This really shows that as the melody is great, you can turn it to epic remixes and i think these tracks would be fit for a DK Movie (DK just appeared in the Super Mario Bro's Movie). I've returned to DK soundtracks for the great tunes & the nostalogia,this sound is something new and i am enjoying it immensively. These tracks capture the spirit of DK, also the pirate theme that is ongoing on the 1-2 games and i actually feel like these could be great "Shanties" :D
as someone who is 36 that used to rent DKC games play them but ALSO put the music player on and just draw- i was doing it just now so many songs in this that hit WAY harder than they need to like they give me tears with their beauty. I love all these tracks but this has some of the best : life in mines, mine cart, northern hem,forest interlude, flight of the zinger, and omg BRAMBLES i just want to cheer. then there is snowbound land its just like :D

Hearing his compositions done up like this really drives home what an excellent composer Wise is. He is a genius. Aquatic Ambience was a highlight, and the main melody in Flight of the Zingers is gd amazing but it ended so abruptly.

I've had this on repeat for the past few days, truly incredible work! I've found that Life in the Mines and Northern Hemispheres (my two favorite tracks from the DKC1 OST) tend to get overlooked when it comes to rearrangements so to hear absolutely amazing versions of them in this really made me happy.
Always knew these soundtracks were masterpieces, this just confirms it. Stunning renditions! Huge kudos for putting these together, they are equally masterful ...!!

Phenomenal. DKC2 is one of the three golden games of my childhood. And DKC1 is not far from it either... You did incredibly well. I would have loved if all the osts were there as i'm sure you would have been as amazing on those as you were on the ones in the video. But the work here is truly amazing and that's already more than one can ask. So, no complain.
That disco train track was just excellent! My personal favorite out of the 30 tracks that were covered. However, with that being said I did enjoy the quiet, and calming end to the Mining Melancholy. Honestly phenomenal work on these tracks!
I just put together that Bonus Room Blitz's rhythm is the same as Mario RPG's Tadpole Pond song-writing mini game! It sounds like you used the same percussion instruments too which is much better than the monkey voices in the DKC OST. and the brass crescendo on Gangplank Galleon was 🤌🤌🤌 Well done!
Dude gangplank galleon gave me huge Pirates Of The Caribbean Hans Zimmer vibes! absolutely love all these arrangements this all would fit perfectly in a DKC movie score. you can really feel and hear how huge these compositions sound without the limitations of the snes which was all ready stellar but this? God damn this is how you take stuff to the next level! Amazing work I'm sure this took weeks or even months to arrange but it was all well worth it to me cause you delivered some of the spectacular huge sounding orchestra arrangements I've ever heard with this.
