What a wonderful find - you two are certainly heroes - first saw Jerry Jeff & David doing this in '68, of course I've seen Jeff do it several times since then always a treat! And to see one of my favourite mandolinists playing "my mandolin" (I have a 1958) and up close and viewable making my Monday!
That was AMAZIMG guys!!! Sam, do you remember playing the Parting Glass Pub in Saratoga N.Y. in the early 90`s? You and I hung out on you tour bus in the back parking lot listening to all kinds of music on cassette tapes till 3 in the morn!!! I left you with something I made from deer antler,I have been playing mando now for over a year now and love it!You are an inspiration to my music !!! Thank you Sam!!!!
