The Boomerang was meant to operate in an amusement park called Tivoli, in Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain), but contruction was not completed and the park never opened to the public.
Back in the early 80's it was painted in Yellow and spent quite some time standing, but not operating, until it was sold to Le Ronde.
The ferris wheel comes from the same amusement park in Gran Canaria too.
Since I never got a chance to ride any of them, I am extremely happy that both rides found a new owner and are still operating to this day.
I wish I could travel to Canada and ride them, so I could have the chance that I never got when I was a kid.
Thanks for the video!
Thank you for sharing that interesting background information about the Boomerang and the ferris wheel!
It's fascinating to learn about their origins in the amusement park that never opened to the public in Gran Canaria. It's great to hear that both rides found new owners and are still operating today.
Hopefully, you'll have the opportunity to visit Canada one day and experience them firsthand.
Thank you for watching the video and for your comment!
Im from Montréal and i LOVE this park ! I got at La ronde every summer and its juste an amazing park ! Its very fun !
Thanks for the comment 🙂 I used to go often, but now I don't live there anymore. It was a good memory.
Wow, I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.
Thank you for watching, Have a nice 🙂
Hi from Toronto Canada. Looks like a fun park. The biggest park in Canada is Canada's Wonderland. I would recommend a trip there. Its a really big park. 17 roller coasters. I enjoyed your video. Thank you.
Thanks for the advice and for watching my video. I'm glad you enjoyed my video. I should go there one day to Wonderland. Also, I would recommend visiting Montreal and Laronde.
I’m from British Colombia, I went to both parks, and to be completely honest, Canada’s wonderland might a little bigger but, La ronde Six flags is better by a mile. The food is better, the rides are more exiting, the people are so nice and you have more benefits with your tickets. La Ronde is also located on island which gives you a beautiful vue on the lake. It’s also located very close to the Expo 67. Which is very nice by the way you should really check it out. It’s the only six flags in Canada too which is pretty cool. The pass for the fast line is also very cheap compared to Canada’s wonderland. The lines aren’t that bad either.
I’m going here in 2 weeks for a school trip can’t wait! Love the video to💗💗
Nice! Where are you from?
I hope you will enjoy your trip!
Thank you for watching!
@@kinashi-san I’m from Ontario
Thank you
You're welcome! 🙂
Excelent video
Thank you!!! 🙂
im actually in Montreal and i feel that i have to go at this park !!!
do they charge money for the bus tp Laronde?
Unfortunately, yes. But if you take the metro till Jean Drapeau Island, for the same ticket, you don't need to pay extra. The STM ticket is good for 2 hours.
Hi, nice video. Just a question, how did you have permission to film on-ride? Because I'm looking forward to filming POVs at LaRonde.
I’m not sure if you are but if your careful about it you can’t get in much trouble
In the official websites, there is a written info regarding the prohibition of filming. Here is a part of it:
"Specifically, the use of the following equipment is not permitted:
Go Pro cameras
Lenses greater than three-and-one-half inches in length
Interchangeables lenses of any kind
Any camera mounted to a vehicle, drone, cart, scooter or other moving object
No cameras (video still, cell-phone, smart phones, ect.) are allowed on any rides at any time. No exeptions."
No info here: www.sixflags.com/larondeen/plan-your-visit/park-policies
When is open??
According to La Ronde, the Park Reopens May 21, 2022

@@kinashi-san yess i’m going the 21st 🙂
This park is over-hated.
Jesus loves you all !
Thank you for watching!
@@kinashi-san No problem! :)
This park is so incredibly ugly, was very disappointed when I went there. Can not recommend.
