This guy is the Bob Ross of hair. What a soothing voice and pleasant presentation.

I think this technique will be great to blend grays if you have just a few throughout the hair. At least that’s how I’m going to try 😊

God, i am so glad i found this tutorial, thank you! I bought a combthrough kit and learned a LOT. I was ready to make all kinds of mistakes. I'll let you know how it turned out if i don't completely screw it up, lol. Thanks again.

OK, so i'm a dark brunette and now i'm a chocolate colored brunette. The picture on the box was BLONDE and i *should* have known this but the box was "permanent color" and not a decolorizer. So the frame i put around my face and sides of my hair (combed it in and started in the middle to avoid that dreaded bleeding, i've had before!) made me a lighter brunette. It has a "shiney gloss" ingredient and it is shiney/glossy. It's not bad, but i wanted to be more blonde.

Buy a semi permanent hair gloss/dye and apply with your hands or a tinting brush. It is not damaging, it doesn’t last very long, and can easily be removed if you don’t like it.

@zoyasardar I have thin curly hair too and was wondering the same thing! Did you ever do your highlights with hair dye?

Baliayge? No it balayage, balayage means to sweep, it's the inspiration for the color technique, it's from Paris

I can see how I can put this to great use on my clients to give them that little extra.

ETA: I can see now that if it HAD been bleach/color stripper, i'd have screwed up pretty bad. I have thick chunks of it. I do this probably twice a year and end up going to the salon to have it "fixed." I can't seem to learn my lesson! Anyway, i was going to start at the root and comb down and that would've made it look like i had a brown hat on! So i do appreciate what i learned and have checked out some of your other videos. Thanks very much.
