I have been playing with that process a bit.... I twisted a black tee and then added some of the liquid with a bottle and then heated it.... it worked slightly, so I will be playing with this some more and when I figure out a process, then I will make a video.... BUT, I say if you have some ideas, try them out and maybe you will discover a new technique ... I love to follow my inspirations 😉✌️

I have not had this kind of success when using bleach... it comes out more orangey than white and I have not had much luck when I have multiple layers, but I also have not left it in the bleach for this long due the holes I got in the past from leaving bleach on too long ... but you can certainly try it out
If you leave them tied up after removing the color, I'm sure you rinse them well, but do you neutralize any remaining color remover that may still be in the deeper folds? Maybe a soak in vinegar? I'm just wondering if there was any chemical interference when you overdyed it. Thanks.
With the Out or Rit you do not need to neutralize as it does not work the same way bleach does ... BUT, I do rinse them very well if I am leaving them tied up... I rinse in the sink, squeezing the tee to get the chemicals out, I soak it some and even spin out the excess liquid using my washer... rinse some more and then spin out again... then I either soak in soda ash, spin out the excess again and let it dry... then I spray with a bit of soda sh and dye it OR, I will do the rinsing with a couple spin outs, and then let it dry, then I dye it and then I squirt soda ash over it ..... but with these tees, since I opened them up... I rinsed and then washed them... eventually, I soaked them in soda ash and then dyed them normally 😉✌🏻❤️🌈🥳 I have had a couple tees where the colors where not as bright as I had expected... not sure if I did not rinse well enough, or if I did not use enough dye as it was a HWI .... so I am still experimenting with this process to discover all of the tricks to it... as I learn more I will share more in videos oh and one side note... vinegar is acidic, the opposite of soda ash... so if you do soak in vinegar, make sure to rinse it very well or it could interfere with the dyeing process by neutralizing your soda ash ..... I have used vinegar, but it was part of a rinse when working with Red White and Blue... after batching and rinsing in the sink, I would dunk the tee in a basin of cold water that I added a cup of white vinegar to... just trying the make sure the sod ash was completely gone to cut down on back staining
I have a question about urea. Can it be made and kept like soda ash can be or does it need to be made only when ready to use it? Another question once mixed do dharma dyes have a certain time frame they should be used?
what I have learned is the mixed urea water will go bad after a certain amount of time.... I would mix up 6 gallons of urea water to use for mixing dyes, but when I slowed down and was not using it up as fast, (mine was around for 2-3 months at room temp, storing in a fridge may lengthen the life of it) I noticed an ammonia smell, that is from the urea breaking down and a sign that it went bad. So I stopped using urea as much and now if I use it, I just add some of the dry urea to my mixing cup along with the dye powder and water and blend it all together Soda ash on the other hand does not seem to go bad at all... I just keep adding more to the bucket as it runs low

How many shirts max can you do with one box of rit ?
Can you do this with 50/50 bleach mix and bleach stop?
