Wow! No warning lights on! I'm impressed😇 The injectors sounds like they want replacing. They are more like a machine gun if I compare them with mine. I actually have a original Volvo 850 booklet/brochure from 1993 out of a german Volvo dealer in Euskirchen. The pictures are still lovely to look at when this thing was brand new. You can see that some things got changed over time. I could show it somehow if you'd like to😊
@@volvoenthusiastsgroup3386 what you do get on 93s that I wish the newer 850s had are aluminum control arms with replaceable bushings, and that sweet rear spoiler, but yeah the 4 lug wheels threw me off too when I noticed it for the first time 😂
I own this exact Volvo. I purchased mine brand new over in Germany and had it shipped back to the U.S. It is the exact color as this Volvo. But my interior is all slate grey. I loved seeing you get your Volvo running. Great work!!
😊 that is a great volvo 850 dey.will go for 400,000 wit.no problems. I have then. Last 1997 850 T5. turbo wit.142,159 miles on it. And I quept it in top chape very FAST PERFORMANCE TURBO dan the natural aspirated volvo very fun volvo to drive 🚗 great video hallo from volvo cars san diego california .
Early 850s did have 4 lugs, then when the turbo came out that got 5 lugs and after that the whole range got 5 lugs. The early ones also have variable lenght intake runners
This makes me feel that the 850 was perhaps seen in the design stage as a lesser vehicle in the range, cheaper etc than the 900's. The galvanising on the mid 90's ones I have owned shows a very high quality, better than modern cars by far, but I still get a bad taste about the early cars having budget style wheels.
Yo man next time you have a situation with those injectors making that loud noise like that go buy yourself some marvels mystery oil pour it in your gas tank the entire bottle that's right and help me several times with that situation don't let nobody tell you that that doesn't work for Volvos it does it eats up the carbon and it lubricates the moving parts in the inside of the inside motor
I’d like to think by the end of this month it will be ready. I still needs to get a couple thing shorted on it and put some miles on it to make sure its ready to hit the road again. Price I’m not entirely sure yet.
Gone for a half an hour or hour drive backwards and forwards should help the thing drive better to burning off carbon as you drive you should see or smell the smoke coming out the back or burning off as you those those cars were built to be driven
Nice car. I would be interested to buy it as-is with all the old original parts, if you would ship it to the Netherlands. How can I get in contact with you?
Need a "Genuine Volvo Parts" or "Volvo for Life" sign for your wall. Thanks you saving these Volvo cars.

The very early 850s did have 4 lug wheels, at some point in '94 they updated it to 5 lug
That’s wild! Some how I never noticed that on any early model 850s I’ve seen. Definitely quirky😂

Mine is a 93, and has 4 lug nuts. Weight reduction?😅😅

@@jellybean1976928The early 93's have the same quality. As I own a 93 for the last 20yrs.
@@jellybean1976928 yeah, and the electronics,vs the 900.
The first Volvo 850 were with 4 lug nuts. Later when they had a facelift they moved backed to the 5 "normal" volvo bolt pattern
I would have taken that gamble for $500!
I laughed at the gas part :D
Whats the best gas, octane wise you can get in the US? Here in Germany you can get 102 octane.
@19:32 Let's listen to a tape of the Beach Boys. 😊
Hay, I forget my name sometimes, don't beat yourself up mate.👍🏻😉🇬🇧🇺🇸

Congrats! Good luck with your new Swedish brick 🇸🇪👍
yeah taht's about right. i'm not gonna pay the 2500-3500 prices i'm seeing for 240K mile cars!
Next video, Don't forget the gas. ;) LOL
If I don’t forget the glass I’ll forget something else 😂
Красавица !!!!!!!!
Dude its knocking too much
Haha the mk1 850s were 4x108

@@arthur850_ nee natuurlijk niet
@@iljahengeveld1359 Ja, ik vroeg dat omdat je zei: "With all the old original parts"

@@iljahengeveld1359 Ja dat klopt. Die aftermarket alternatieven zijn ook niet alles... Bijna troep te noemen
It's a Volvo they are bulletproof
👍🏻🏴🧁Rare 93 My friend had an identical one in the same colour. R.H.Drive of course.
the appering of your face in the top left is a little creepy but nice video lol
