Salesman road-warrior, here. I've had 11 Volvo wagons. XC's and 740's. Bought them all with at least 50K and drove them all to at least 200K. My favorite part? The police don't give a second look at a station wagon. Ever. (Hope I didn't just jinx it 😆😆)

The first Volvo 850 were with 4 lug nuts. Later when they had a facelift they moved backed to the 5 "normal" volvo bolt pattern

Curious just bought a 1986 Volvo 245 DL Wagon yesterday and on the way home the overdrive light came on and button stopped working. Couldn’t drive about 70mph and anytime I tried to stomp on it the car would rev up but go no where. Really praying this is my issue not allowing me to reach 4th gear and not need a transmission rebuild

Looks like a 2004, I think that the little plastic-covered light on the side in front of the passenger door is a giveaway.

My 2008 XC70, her name is Mulva, got me from snowy Chicago here to The Keys. She's perfect for the beach, I pulled an F150 out in Ormond, gets about 28 mpg and her leather is PRISTINE. almost unbelievable.

Was thinking of buying a new truck till I went to the dealership. Yikes. So I bought a low mileage 05 xc90 with the 2.5t for $2000 but it needed the pvc components changed and timing belt. Did it all myself and other stuff for about $800. What an awesome vehicle. So glad I went this route. These Volvos are awesome off road

Gone for a half an hour or hour drive backwards and forwards should help the thing drive better to burning off carbon as you drive you should see or smell the smoke coming out the back or burning off as you those those cars were built to be driven

Yo man next time you have a situation with those injectors making that loud noise like that go buy yourself some marvels mystery oil pour it in your gas tank the entire bottle that's right and help me several times with that situation don't let nobody tell you that that doesn't work for Volvos it does it eats up the carbon and it lubricates the moving parts in the inside of the inside motor

Hi there, Which YEAR is your XC70?? I am partial to the silver color. (Oops, you said 2004). Then, all of those cool features are STANDARD (the way the traction works, for instance)?? Looking at a beautiful and well maintained 2006 XC/140,000 miles. I'm trying to find any decent reviews on those and have not had any luck. Am I opening up Pandora's Box with someone else's problems or is it worth the purchase? Currently needs a new battery as the owner has had it sitting in storage for over 2 yrs. asking price is $2,500.

re the 850 with no keys, wouldn’t the factory have the key specs with the vin? Also, for $500 wouldn’t it be normal to expect it to need transmission or serious engine work? Also, dealers won’t fix older Volvos because their overhead is so high that they can’t afford to fix them up and sell them. Nor do they have the time or patience to market them to Volvo lovers!

My 04 has 265000 miles and still averages 22.8 mpg.i get 30 mpg at 60 o. The flats. Im in love with these volvos
