Been playing on PC Since like 2006 always enjoyed the platform but never was able to get into seriously, when I actually got into PC in 2019 building my PC never really looked back to consoles at all and up until now its the only platform I play on ! Good Video.
PC is the way to go for sure. It's just not really a debate anymore. I get the sentiment about exclusives (Looking at you Nintendo) but let's be real? You can find equivalent experiences most of the time, if not outright the games being ported over. The freedom of utility that the platform allows is just something I refuse to give up. The closest thing to a console that I've purchased recently was the Steam Deck and that alone became another nail in the console coffin. Valve proved that you could have an excellent, "console-like" experience with the flexibility and open-ness of the PC platform. It's hard to justify the pros of getting locked in again.
Gotta love the AI boom, now I have an excuse to burn cash on a 4090 for "work purposes". Yeah I know, a 128GB unified memory macbook can fit larger models than a measly 24GB 4090, but it doesn't support mission critical features like 120FPS 4k gaming lol
I feel like gaming has peaked for me. There isn’t a whole lot that is interesting or as good as old stuff. There are some good stuff coming in the future but it’s not a lot at least imo. Looking forward to gta6, kingdom come deliverance 2, the new fromsoft game, the next total war game, the next RGG studio game as long as it ain’t turn based. Idk what do people recommend these days?
@@SiliconSteak damn lol I played that a while back played a few times actually cuz the movement and the many ways to go about a mission lol. Def a fine game
Im glad i jumped off the sony train at the ps5 release. Its only getting worse and worse. Im actually saving alot money every year by buying games at steam summersale and not paying for online gaming. This year i saved like 300€. Also this weird censorship in games is terrible. But console guys always come with „BuT ThErE aRe hAcKeRs on Pc“ well its actually not that much maybe on free2play games yea. Overrall a good video with the almost the same build im sending ppl to prove a pc can be build for the price range. But tbh i would use a am5 620 mainboard for few bucks more so you could upgrade the cpu. Would be still less then 950
Will the higher textures even be able to be put on DISC in the first place? We desperately need a new Disc/blu ray format, its about that time 2 more years.. might launch with the next gen console
@@SiliconSteak Yeah, but not every game i thought. I buy mostly on steam and sometime limited editions though not AAA games, they come with discs/cartridges so i'm not quite sure myself. But that increasing trend kind does ruin the point of having a console in my eyes if you dont can't even play them without connecting to the internet, you really don't own them anymore after the servers die.
calling yourself a part of the pc ''master race'' is one of the most embarrassing things to say. both pc gamers and console gamers are the biggest meat-riders for multi billion dollar companies.
You must play on console because you don’t get it. On PC you have so many options that you don’t have to settle for only one company. Those who do are fanboys but most of us just get the best of both words
For sure. In my mind PC is just the better experience most of the time. 10-20 years ago that wasn’t the case. My point is there is a big shift pushing ppl to PC like never before.
@@SiliconSteak yeah I also totally prefer PC's over consoles as the only console I ever bought was a ps2 this year. like you and I, there are people that share their beliefs, some in less mature ways than they should.
No not really, smooth gameplay hah! Fortnite can destroy 7800X3D the best gaming cpu when dropping from the bus and jedi survivor is another example. The only thing good is the performance and backwards compatibility but the price can be sky high and higher than comparable console.
The only disadvantage to pc gaming is you have to deal with the gpu mafia, nvidia and amd
Truueee
honestly just pick the one thats cheaper in your country
You also have to deal with hackers in online games.
@riverblack123 you deal with that on any platform
You can stop the mafia a bit with the second hand market for the gpu which is broken . I just got a one year's old 7900xt for 380 usd crazy

Nintendo is the only console that I a pc master race enjoy co-exist with.
Since the ps5 pro came out ive choose to build a pc myself im done with coorporate bullshit between xbox and sony
good choice and you don’t have to pay to play online

I like the way you think 🤔…..
That thumbnail is just pure evil.
It's too hard to try and topple STEAM, it's had decades to evolve and adapt to the community. It's almost perfect!
actually it didnt evolve, steam just didnt got greedy, thats it, thats all.
Makes alot of other companys furious btw.

I feel that. I recently have been enjoying some older games. Just finished Dishonored and it really blew me away

"Well is actually not that much"
Remember when Dark Souls 3 got its servers fucking nuked because there were too many cheaters?
I would too, but for the sake of comparison I put in a similar cpu to the PS5pro

Correct me if I’m wrong but haven’t discs (for the past few years) just been a physical key to download the game online anyways?
