He had it right the first time. The bottom goes under not on top. Otherwise the water runs right under
Agreed
@@RoofRepairSpecialist If you agreed with him, probably you should edit the video because you are misleading people. I just finished my shed and now I have to redo it because you gave me wrong info. Basically the sloping part always has to be on tot of the flat part.
@@RoofRepairSpecialistso to confirm, the the fold should be the way you had the first time?
Bro, it was a demonstration. A square block. The slope could have been coming from either side in this demonstration. It’s obvious that it goes on top when it running down the slope. It’s common sense. All this video was about was bending the damn corner.
This is the best video on this subject that I saw! I’ve done it before, but I needed a refresher course and this video was a reasonable amount of time focused on exactly the question I have, thank you so much.
Thank you, that’s my goal. I hate watching tutorial videos of people rambling on
This is an outstanding series of videos. I have the same question as @Feelstoramusic, how do you bend a drip edge on an outside corner when one side is a rake?
Can you do this with the angle difference from the eaves to the rake edge?
Exactly the video I was looking for. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent job. Several other channels were using a grinder, a bending tool and overly complex math.
Ya, as the old saying goes, “simple scales, complex fails”
Just in-time for my project. Thanks!
Good luck!
Thats great for a flat roof. What about a 5 or 6/12 pitched roof?
Same concept, you just press it down to make it wide
does it work the same for vinyl flashing?
Your awesome! Thanks Andre
My pleasure!
Is it better to bend around corners and overlap the next section going down the sides rather than terminating two sections to meet at corners? I'll be installing drip edge on a Lean To, Slant Roof, Shed. 16' across the front and back, and 14' runs down the sides. I have 7- 10 foot drip edge sections to work with.
Yes most definitely
Thank you for this video. You made it so easy to understand.
My pleasure
Thank you, great instructions.
You are welcome!
Awful idea on new construction, now I have to cut it like garbage to install my aluminum trim facia
Don’t follow?
@RoofRepairSpecialist not to mention if you want to add gutters you can't slide gutter under drip edge in the corner
Yeah, this guy just wants to complain. This video works perfectly.
Thank you brother!
My pleasure!
Thank you 🙏
Welcome!
Thanks mate 👍🏼
