    OMG. I'm 77 yrs old and spent a year at Eilson AFB Alaska in the second grade when my Dad was stationed there. B-29's constantly rumbling 24 hrs a day. This sound brings it all back. Very emotional for me.

    I love the sounds, and it may only be me, but the first image is not B-29s; they're actually B-17s. The gunners give it away, since the B-29 is pressurized.

      B-29s had the remote control turrets, they were also much longer and had 4 bladed props, granted the rear turrets look basically the same, the inner two... I want to say engine nacelles, came all the way to the back of the wing, that image is B-17s for sure.

      There are no mid-roll ads, so the only way an ad can pop up is at the beginning or very end of the video. I recommend that each time you listen, you make sure you start from the beginning. Many people start a video one night and then continue it the next, forgetting that when the video ends, an ad will play. The only other way to avoid ads on TH-cam is with a subscription to TH-cam's no ad service. Thanks for listening!

      Yes, the image is of B-17s but the audio is B-29's. I layered several B-29 tracks ontop of one another and ran them through a low pass filter so they sounded at varying differences. I left one audio untouched so that it sounds like the listeners is onboard one of the bombers.

I've seen all of them at many, many air shows and know the sound of their engines. Now I'll give it to BlackAtom that the sounds are really B-29s since I have never been inside a B-29 with it's engines running, only on the ground without it's engines running. Why the music at the end??

    • @BlackAtomProductions
      @BlackAtomProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's called an outro screen and is basically used to signal the end of the video. It is also used to tie videos together across themes, signaling the video was created by a specific content creator. All of my videos have my particular outro screen, and anyone that is familiar with these videos can hear and see the style of end screen and know immediately that the video they just watched was created by blackatomproductions. Both intro and outro screens are used for branding and marketing.

    • @giacomo.cantarini
      @giacomo.cantarini 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@BlackAtomProductions I see, but if you are sleeping the outro wakes you up. Sometimes you might happen to not start the video at the beginning (for whatever reason) and the outro can become a problem then. Just my opinion (but it happened a few times)

    • @BlackAtomProductions
      @BlackAtomProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@giacomo.cantarini I understand that. My suggestion would be to always ensure you start the video from the beginning as even without the end screen the video will come to an end and as TH-cam often does it will move on to another video. Depending on the content of that video, there is a good chance that a change in audio will wake you. My sleep videos are between 8 and 12 hours long, so I wanted my end screens to also serve as a pleasant way to wake up, signaling the video's end as well as the end of your sleep cycle. Thanks for listening.

    • @BlackAtomProductions
      @BlackAtomProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I assure you they are not. I used genuine recordings of B-29s and then filtered the outside tracks with a low pass filter to make them sound like they were coming from outside the main plane which I left its audio track unaltered. The end result was a recording with several different B-29s.

    • @bobhamilton298
      @bobhamilton298 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BlackAtomProductions The recording may be B29s, but I assure you, the image is of B17's. And no, I'm not mistaken about this. B29's have long and thin high-aspect ratio wings. These do not. B29s also do not have single 50 caliber guns sticking out the sides. I could go on, but take another look at your picture and compare to pictures of a B29. They are significantly different.

      @@bobhamilton298 I'll dig up some old military footage of b-29s in flight and make another version with a 1-hour authentic b-29 visual. Thanks for pointing that out to me. It's a recording from a b-29 but what I did was switch around the audio and layered it 5 tracks to create the sound of multiple b-29s. One I left the audio as is and then the others I filtered with a low pass filter to make it sound like the sound of the 4 other planes were outside while you were on one plane listening to it all.

    Ok I love the sound. But those look like B17s in the picture, not B29s. Noses too short. waist gun positions, wingspan looks off a swell and the ball turret guns aren't correct for B29. Then again I'm not an expert, just an enthusiast, but it seems off to me.

    • @BlackAtomProductions
      @BlackAtomProductions  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I can relate to your plight. Who among us at one time or another hasn't felt like the sweet release of death is preferable. The thing is, nothing in life is as bad as it seems. Even the worst nightmares come to an end, one way or the other. It's important to keep in mind that life is full of ups and downs and if you're low now then you only have one direction to go and that's up. I personally do not believe in god. I have a different take on life. The human consciousness is unique, each one determined by the structure of the brain, whether it's a physical pattern or energy pattern I'm not entirely sure. What I am sure of is that we are "at least in my opinion" immortal even in death. That is to say we live for a time, die, don't exist for a few million, a billion, trillion or Googleplex length of time or longer before our consciousness arises again on some other world in some other part of the galaxy or universe. Universes if there are multiple universes. The point is that I believe our consciousness is basically recycled for all eternity and is a constant in the universe, eternal, just like the universe. Of course, since we are unaware of the passage of time when we're dead from our point of view, it really doesn't matter how much time passes while we're dead. From our perspective, it's like we're born again right after we die. Doesn't matter how much time passes. From our point of view, our lives are a continuous string of births and deaths. So my advice to you is enjoy this life for what it is. Make the most of it because in the end it's the experiences that matter. Be bold. Live, laugh, love, and don't be afraid to ask for help. We all need help. Doesn't matter who it is. None of us succeeds in life on our own. We need other people. People are what makes life worth living and if you don't like the people in your life now then find new people. There's no shame in cutting toxic people out of your life. There is no shame and taking care of yourself. I'm not sure if there's anything I can really do to help you beyond, if there's a video you would like me to make for you, just let me know. If I can, I'll do my best. Keep your head up. Hang in there. Life is always worth living.
