My father, from the US, was stationed at Horsham Saint Faith England (Norwich, England) and flew 22 missions as a waist gunner into Germany on the B24 Liberator. I can’t imagine how tense many of the missions were, especially those have to fend off fighters and flak! They were hit one day with some flak on a mission to Peinne, however the plane to their left to a direct hit and the one behind them was heavily damaged and both planes went down. All were lost in the direct hit and the one in back turned out of formation and flew back until they all parachuted out. Two of them died on landing and the pilot and navigator were executed in the small town they landed near. The German policeman was ultimately tried for war crimes! Dad’s diary said that they counted 14 holes in their ship but thankfully no steering cables were broken and two were slightly injured.
I have tried many of these sleep aid videos with digital radial propeller sounds. Many are glitchy and inconsistent. NOT THIS ONE. This one is REALLY GOOD and rarely wakes me due to oddball sounds or clocking. Ty I sleep well to this every night.
@@soundsandrelaxing Liberators were boxy and did not have that streamlined fairing on the top for the cockpit...or a nose like that...or quite a few other visual details - the most egregious thing being three engines on the port wing. But the sound is very nice.
@@B-and-O-Operator-Fairmontthank you for your comment and your expertise. Even if AI is still imperfect, for the 5th engine it's my fault, I'm ashamed but I assume. a thousand apologies.
the plane shown looks like a hybrid of a B-17, B-24 and a lancaster all put in one and it actually looks quite cool just without the 5 engine on the left wing
I remember the deep roar of radial engines overhead when I was a child in the 1950’s. My dad was an Air Force mechanic at Norton AFB in California. Love the sound. I miss hearing them.
My father was at Travis in late fifties. Miss hearing them too. When I would e ake up in the middle of the nite this was my lullaby. What an.immense different time that was. Long for it❤
@@soundsandrelaxing I totally get that. And no it doesn’t deprive me at all. I very much enjoy these videos. I was really just more curious why you went that route over old historic photos of the aircraft.

Woaw ! ? Why do you say that ?

Exact ! AI is still a little capricious 😏
not to hate, but I really like the props sounding on the outside, where I can hear the engines running, the hum is nice tho.
Thanks !
HEY 👋 DO YOU THINK 🤔 YOU CAN MAKE ONE A THUNDERSTORM 🌩 WITH HURRICANE 🌀 WINDS JUST SAYING 😊
Hi, I already produced this video with the rain. Next time I will play the thunder 🌩️ : th-cam.com/video/vf60y9oHrPE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_M2QqoEBVE7yYPLN

So is the b24 you have in the thumbnail and first couple of seconds of the video ai generated? Because it does not look like a b24 at all
Yes, you're right, sorry, but AI is still temperamental. I hope it doesn't deprive you of sleep. 😎

Don't let me pee on myself in the ball turret. I might have to get up to pee.
Don't drink too much before take-off !😉
3 motors on left wing and 2 on right wing ?
Exact ! AI is still a little capricious 😏
It’s not loud enough
