@@Athompthomp she is already married and happy since 2018. Who knows what happened between the two of them. They kept it together and healthy for their children. Yes i wish i was more french raised than american.
@@nicholea We don't know what happened. And I'm glad they kept it between the two. I respect that a lot. However, his timing is suspicious. She married indeed but after 6 years of their separation. He on the other hand started immediately. And we now know - from his account on the trial - that they started while working on the movie together, which was during 2011, while he and Vanessa separated officially in June 2012. I think the reason of their separation was Amber. I actually blame him more than I blame the crazy woman. Because when all is said and done, it was him the person who was de facto living with another person, the mother of his children. He should've been the one to not cross that line.

I think Chanel need diff sort of models and inspirations ....I think they dt really stand for the values , History and image of Chanel , that now are offering a new image bcoz of the changing time and generation.....To exist they need to become that way ...A woman can be elegant , beautiful and with some modesty too. @@Michael-xi9nb no they do french, why they’ll talk only french when they invite none speaking French people, dépend who they invite and which audience they target, exemple the video of 22 January 2022 is in french subtitle in English.
It was for all of us that can't understand french.... damn, I'd love to speak French. I understand better if I read it cause I speak Catalan but still there's a lot that I miss.

The idea of a round table is really lovely. I wonder why no one felt it was necessary to do it while Lagerfeld was around...Maybe because his collection spoke for itself? He did not need it...His collections were telling a story!! Where is the story in Virginie's collection? Where is the cohissibness in her collection?
What is there that is special? That is an innovation?
Caroline is always great!! I love her, but what did the ladies around the table had to talk about? The manifique work ithat the studio of Chanel know to produce and the proffesionality of the people that work there!! But of course! This is the bread and butter of Chanel.! However this has nithing to do with the design! Virginie's desighn is nothing special! And she even does not know how to put into great use the enormous ability that the Chanel studio can proide.
All is very expected and nothing is really exciting. I hope Chanel will not loose its crown to Dior.

I like the concept but i wish it was a little less curated, the music distracts, the often cutting distracts and all the blitz is also very distracting. Also for it to be a longer and to hear the full answers with the silences and uhms inbetween would be wonderful. Would feel so much more organic and chique

Great idea, the conversation should have been longer tho. Their opinions where explored only on the surface. Maybe try implementing roundtable conversation with some fashion insiders: women in the business side, creative side, stylists, writers, journalist, critics, photographers, buyers, retailers, magazine editors, historians; what have you. I understand their us of celebrity as a marketing mechanism - to increase sales - and the decision of inviting the same women they hire to sell fragrances and accessories, but I would have preferred a conversation with people who are not there just to say the collection was AMAZING, I felt like a princess, i felt so lucky, Virginie is so nice, OMG the savoir-faire is.... we know all that. Try to bring to the table a deeper analysis of the work. Nonetheless, I would say it is interesting the process of women (Charlotte and Penelope) who actually have had the experience of wearing these clothes and have a relationship with the house, adds up to the fantasy and the aspiration, but is not so relatable. And some of them did mentioned Gabrielle´s legacy in liberating women through clothes.

Could have done without that annoying techno music in the background, it was a distraction from the amazing conversation. I love the Chanel ambassadors and it is nice to see the brand embracing diversity more, though I think there is still some room for improvement. Apart from the black model and Penelope, I think there was only one other woman who seemed to perhaps not be Caucasian. Vanessa and Lily Rose get a pass because they have a strong history with the brand. Likewise with Caroline because she has been an ambassador for several years. Charlotte is obviously their latest ambassador, so she gets a pass, but they could have shaken things up with the other women to keep things representative of Chanel’s global audience. I didn’t see any Asian women, which was strange, given how much investment Chanel have made in that market.
