I find speaking English uses more physical effort (mouth and throat) than French. French is very much in the front of the face, the tip of the tongue and front teeth whereas English feels more in the back of the mouth and throat which feels like it uses more muscles.

@@priscillasauri7233 Not really anymore. He has a lot of English and french in it, as that's where they've predominantly lived. He has said Lily speaks both languages so fluently and that he doesn't understand how she can just switch. It's hard for him to speak English after having spoken French and the other way around. Some people are just really good with languages. My sister, for example, we're European, is 14 and never been in an English-speaking country yet she has a fluent American accent when speaking because of youtube and Netflix...

I had to get away of France for some years to get rid of my French accent in English and German. Well people still acknowledge that I'm French when I speak, but at least my accent isn't as terrible as in this video anymore :)
