100% a scam. They need replaced every couple years because they get too clogged and crack when ya try to clean them. They dont stop sludge build up at all either. And are super expensive

It’ll fail as a gutter long before that. Those gutter guards just collect leaves and sticks which then turn to dirt and cause your gutters to not hold any water. Seen it on every single roof with gutter guards that we’ve re shingled or metaled. They’re useless, a nice thought, but not practical.
Whoever created this video has no clue how to properly install gutters. This exactly the type of content that makes homeowners think that it’s so easy & should not cost what it costs to have a professional install them. If you have insurance, hope they don’t see this. This is a great video to show what not to do though🤷🏻

Should have been installed under the gutter appron/ drip edge. Doing it on top saves you 30 minutes and cost the homeowner thousands
Why no drip edge into gutters ?
The roof sheets are to short what a F#@k up.🤣🤣
Yep should be maybe 1 inch or inch and a half overhang

Looks a bit flimsy for aluminium, think if the downspout gets blocked the weight of the water will rip it off

And no fascia behind the gutters themselves. Not really their fault on that though.

No tool belt o. The helper!
I did gutters for a few years. I hated hanging over and wacking the spikes with the side of the hammer. I only dinged up a few 😂
Did you know if you hang a gutter level with the fascia board, it still has a 4” pitch or whatever the depth of the gutter is.
Put a 3/4 inch to one inch screw than standard to hold gutters. Small screws will fail under the weight of snow.
I have the safe drill. It’s so beautiful in your hand

Did they just screw that into the drip edge? 😮
Why not align the hangers with the ribs?
Any pitch on that thing
Are those 6 inch hangers??

Those hangers will do but they make much better quality hangers

Always make it higher on the downspout side. The water will travel uphill towards the downspout because it goes in direction of flow or drainage.

They put gutters in my house last week and the side of my house is 72 feet and they put two pieces of gutters instead of just one,do you know why?
Either they didn't have skill set to manage the lengh or they may have done in two pieces to allow for expansion.
