    I did gutters a long time ago, but I had forgot how to do mitres, make tabs, etc. So I watched this to see the one piece artistry.
    I think I'll stick to 2 piece for my first gutter in 30 years, lol. What I had forgot about, and you reminded me, is PAINT! I remember that we had found some paint that matched perfectly, and it really cleaned up the corners a lot.
    I liked the video a lot. Thanks for posting.

    Your red and green snips are too dull that's why the edges are rolling and look jagged. Other than that this is a great method to cut miters I never did them in one piece but I like the way they look. I'm just so used to cutting them in two pieces I'm fast like that but if I could learn how to do it this way and get fast I would rather do it cuz yours look a lot better in one piece. And it's easier to seal the miter with silicone while it's on the ground instead of doing it from a ladder especially on a two-story house

    i admire your strategy, though it's totally unnecessary. i've done over 5000 houses in my career and it's much easier and faster to make it out of 2 pieces. also, what are those screws you use? looks like an eye sore. you make two pieces and leave a little extra to seam around the corner, not "use a little paint around here".

    I’m stuck on making the outside and inside 22.5 meters.I have a mitresaw if it’s easier that way..I get mixed up on which side to leave the tabs on?

    • @kzeuz999
      @kzeuz999  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can leave the tabs on either side. Just do one side with tabs and one side slick.

    • @JacobSmith-jo3by
      @JacobSmith-jo3by 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I put the side without tabs towards where you can see 😉

    • @christinaparker7889
      @christinaparker7889 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The side with tabs should be the piece you’re gonna hang first. First piece should be top of the slope

      hookem proof of concept. And if you're using miter boxes then you're spending too much money and adding unnecessary seams
