Hyundai/Kia has almost full line up lf EV.
RAY EV(only in Korea)-Casper EV(Inster)-EV3-Niro EV-Kona EV-GV60-EV5(Only in China, near future will introduce in Korea)-Ioniq5/5N-EV6/6GT-eGV70-G80e-EV9
In this line up, most valuable model is EV3 in this moment. Inster is good but technology is older than EV3.

Bit of a shame, if you want a 360 degree camera, heat pump and lumbar support, you need to get the top spec car for £45k, with bells and whistles I don’t want like heated rear seats. Ideally the 360 degree camera should be an option on all models, it’s super useful around town.

Isn't that the point ? They put features that are desirable to make you buy the higher spec models. The entry price is always the stripper, designed to advertise a low price and get you into the shop, and then the salesman will upsell you to a more expensive model. Been happening since the dawn of time...

A bit of a niche question but does this have enough space for two adults to sleep in the back with the back seats folded? Tesla Model Y is much bigger and has ample space for that, but so does the Model 3 even though it's a sedan. Kia/Hyundai are one of the few manufacturers that fit a similar feature to Tesla's Camping mode in their car (Utility mode) so they would be a great option for us who love to do road trips and sleep their nights in the car.

It tells you that real range of the bigger battery version at motorway speed is 200 miles cold weather and 260 miles hot weather. That 60 mile gap could probably be halved if the car had a heat pump as standard. The results are about as good as you can get from such a blocky shaped car. On that occasion it made wltp. On another trip in the summer without roofbox ( still 4 occupants and full boot ) of similar length I have exceeded wltp by about 5%. I know they are popular but why are most of these EVs SUVs. Surely aerodynamics are important for efficiency. Seems like the market just wants Postman Pat’s van.

In mi humble opinion EV’s are still too expensive. Good that at the start of this film EV3 was compared to VW Golf. Let’s talk money then. Base KIA is £33.000 base VW Golf is £27.490. At ease it does 50mpg I know because I have one. (Pre facelift 1.5 130ps) Golf offers everything that a normal person needs. Maybe it’s bit smaller inside but it’s still gold standard for practical family hatchback. Situation for KIA is even worse in Poland where I currently live. Here Golf starts at £22.500 at this same level of equipment as in UK and KIA starts at £32.500.

Kia seem to be making cars for the US market, but not European roads and parking spaces! And---no---heat---pump on the standard trim is unforgiveable. £43,895 for the heat pump version? No thanks...
