    ABOUT US:
We’re traveling full time, living on our own terms and showing you the up-close-and-personal details of us figuring it out along the way. Sometimes it’s about navigating big, life-altering decisions. Sometimes it’s about navigating the seemingly lawless free-for-all that is driving in Hanoi. It’s moments of triumph and moments of panic. The good, the bad, the ugly - and most importantly, the real and real funny.
We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.” Just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you - the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem. We believe the world’s a more interesting place when people reject convention in favor of what they actually care about. This is us putting that idea to the test - one budget spreadsheet, RV renovation and mountain-peak drone video at a time.

With all the changes in Mexican Immigration, now mexico will be ruined forever. they will ruin it for everyone as the money requirements keep going higher and higher, who has 25 thousand in the bank? Or can bring 4300 a month to mexico ? I have relatives in Sonora, now I wont be able to see them ? Why are they doing this, to maybe somehow ROB the Foreign people who come to Vacation or Retire there ? Now you have to hire a Mexican specialist to get you through all the paperwork, and that costs $200.00, that is the same price I had to pay a guy from Immigrations to get me a Residency card with out going through all of the Bull shit. What the fuck is going on ?

Such perfect words to describe exactly how it truly is.. I hate when people generalize and assume México is such an unsafe place just because of the media. I recently moved from LA to Jalisco and I’ve never felt safer and stress free. Back home everyone is always on edge with mass shootings and the terrorism within. México isn’t free from shootings and all that but you don’t hear it as much, especially mass shootings. All in all, I don’t feel unsafe here and truly get to enjoy life and nature the way it supposed to be enjoyed.

Nice job with video editing. Good mix of music, views, and narration.
I know that TH-cam-music options are limited but it would be nice if local music could be used.

I'll show her this long video. She'll love it!
You guys deserve to be on Netflix or Hulu!

Amazing! I love the trip to DF. I went while studying abroad in Guadalajara and did the same tours you did, which is kinda funny, even the blue wall. Unfortunately, it was before Instagram 😄. We stayed at the hotel across from the plaza de gobiernos. I look back and think how fortunate I was to go in that trip. ❤️

    I m Mexican.
Don t worry ladies, this guy at Templo Mayor just wanted to share his academic knowledge with two gringas seeming interested in the prehispanic ruins.
According to his voice, accent, gestures, he was a kind of educated nerd shy to approach you in the beginning. As any nerd being rejected, you broke his heart.

Haha, me living in the USA, I can understand why you guys may think the guy in the Templo Mayor was trying to scam you. But there’s a lot of people always trying to share what they know with genuine interest, which is not common in developed countries. But it is always a safer move to say no if you don’t feel comfortable.

    • @timandfin
      @timandfin  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

This guy gets it! It sucks having to always assume the worst, but when you're a foreigner in a tourist area and someone is being overly friendly, alarms start going off in the back of your head. The amount of people who don't understand that is pretty impressive. It's much easier to understand what is normal when you're in your own country.

I'm a Mexican traveler and nomad too.. Have lived in Chicago for 4 years so inn a few graduate program. Now back to my Hometown Guadalajara.. Your video guys is great and I wanted to Thank you for promoting our rich culture and customs. As you may know, people is always welcome here.. And I there isn't more perfect explanation than the one you just had made at the very beginning.. Unfortunately, people is biased based on what they watch on TV. I can't even count how many times I even felt not safe at Chicago the first months. But later on, I figured out that its just a other city with amazing great places and people. Ameicans up there at Chicago are great. Not all of them welcoming but based on my experience, very nice and great open people no matter where u come from even though all the inmigrant situation going on. Shame on that people who judge on their own criteria. If only they understand. that Traveling is not just fun. It also, opens your mind and world to understand so many things.. To be more sensitive, human, to learn, to give, to grow... I Wish you guys the best on this project, and please keep doing these fantastic videos.. I'm so glad about finding your channel now.. I will travel again soon 😜 and with God helps, starting a project like yours.. Wish me luck 😅. Hopefully we will see each other down the road. As we say in Mexico in a famous proverb.. "Arrieros somos y en el camino andamos" (a little homework) 😉

Your hair looks beautiful. I two just got my hair colored. As for the sciatica, you need to have him soak in Epson Salt with some essential oil and alcohol
and stretch immediately after the soak... PS, get a good massage if you can find a reputable therapist... End by putting some Arnica on the area if you can find it there or tiger balm...

I hope you have water for pepper when you are walking around...also, when you are telling her to lay down in the car. She was trying to get out of the hot sun but b/c she is such a good girl when you told her to lay down, she did, in the only spot available to her- in the sun she was trying to get out of 😬. I know you love your dog but dogs are faithful and a lot is expected of her - that backpack👎🏻 definitely not good for her joints. I love my dogs and would never consider putting them in something so unergonomic for their bodies
