Swimming with a whale shark is a bucket list moment I'm hoping for when traveling returns.
We can't recommend Isla Mujeres enough! Just double check the season as the whale sharks are only there during a specific time of year.

We love Mexico and the people that live/work there. We have been going to Mexico for 30+ years and have made some really special friends that live there, 😔😔we have even vacationed at some of our friend's houses that are locals. I would love to spend every vacation with our Mexican friends that live locally, but I lost my left leg and half of my right foot 5 years ago and now it's almost impossible for me to navigate the towns and local neighborhoods, if it wasn't for the ‘All Inclusives’ I would not be able to vacation in Mexico. Not all of us go to the resorts to get drunk on ‘Frozen Margaritas’ and act like idiots and treat the staff members like they are our personal cabana boys. You shouldn't judge people by a few groups that went to Mexico for the wrong reasons and don't truly appreciate the country and the people.
Not all that stay at ‘All Inclusive” are assholes. I love your videos and adventures. Travel On 😎
we just returned from Merida, and we found the people to be extremely nice. I believe you were trying to say it's not the "locals" that are unfriendly but the people that come into work at the all-inclusive resorts that you have to tolerate. We enjoy our trip to Mexico. Thanks for the video.
On our last trip we did a day in Isla. Rented the golf cart and had so much fun. Pizza at a restaurant right near Playa Norte was incredible.Wish we wrote down the name.
isla mujeres is one of our favorites. We've been probably 8-10 times now, just can't stay away.
We are going out with them tomorrow. I recognized them and said they were recommended by Tim and Fin. They very happy to hear that. We love your videos and are starting at age 70 to travel to some of the places you two have gone. Keep up the great videos. We love them.

So much yes to people outside of the “all inclusives” being the best! I lived in Playa del Carmen for over a month in an airbnb and all the locals around us were so nice. I’ve never stayed in an “all inclusive” but I have had to rescue my friend from one😂 it was the hard rock between playa del carmen and Tulum

Wow has that island grown! Went there a couple of times before the Cancun area really took off and rode mopeds around the island. Pretty sure my sister and I got lost as well... there was amazing snorkeling there, but certainly no underwater manmade reef - very cool! And now I want to go put my feet in warm salt water on a limestone sand beach!
We went to Isla Mujeres by boat from Cancun and had free drinks and dinner as well on the double decker boat and it was so beautiful there we drove golf carts around the city, swam with the sharks and stingrays, but that was back in 2005 and I’m sure it has changed quit a bit, I just started watching your You Tube Videos yesterday and have been more of them since, looks like you are having a good time you should add Pepper to your you tube name thats your dogs name right? Look forward to many more of your videos

I want to visit this island. It looks amazing. I liked the room you got. It's ok y'all slept in separate beds. Nothing wrong with that. And I love the view from top of that building. So, how was Isla Mujeres?

Just so you know, it's pronounced EES-la Mujeres, not EYE-la Mujeres. You should also check the price for the car ferry. It's probably cheaper than parking, boat tickets and golf cart rental. I lived for four years in Cancun, and spent most weekends on the island. That was about twenty years ago, and it was a quiet, sleepy little island, with just enough activities to keep yoou occupied, and no buildings over three floors, except for the tower at the airport!
I went to Isla Mujeres early March before things got bad with the virus situation. It’s such a beautiful place, I didn’t know you can swim with whale sharks there ! Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll definitely need to go back to Isla Mujeres now to swim with the whale sharks! Btw I just discovered this channel, I love the content! 👌🏻
Love Isla Mujeres! Been x2. This was a great video. I wear glasses, not contacts. So scuba/snorkeling not my thing. So I loved this vid! If you go back, check-out all the different beaches, they all have a different vibe 😊 And I liked the the beach club next to the dolphin discovery. The main square/park on Fri & Sat is fun to hang out with the locals & families.

Another excellent video. Nice and long to enjoy while we are all stuck at home. I did the whale sharks as a day tour from Cozumel and it was too much. Next time we will stay on the island for a few nights. Thanks for recommending Sea Hawks.

Tim an finn I have not watched every video of you guys I barely washed the one you guys are vacationing in Mexico I was enjoying the video till Sunday it got educational by your wife. I don't know if this is true in every video but like I like to believe that it is in the Mexico vacation in Mexico City you were coming out of recovery and both of you were sitting or at least you were sitting on a bench with no direction you were looking at the phone to be able to identify your surrounding at the moment but your wife she likes to know where she's going before she even gets there I'm sure you probably are the same but I saw this in her she likes to have direction she likes to be in control human beings need to get this from her.. that was very extremely impressive when a person has no direction a person is living like a bird or like an animal we are not animals we are human beings so we should always have direction we should always know what we want what we're going to get and what are we going to do positiveness comes out of this intelligence comes out of this is unbelievable it's unbelievable and why am I saying this I was supposed to get something else out of the out of this video that I watched from you guys I was supposed to enjoy it and believe me I was but I got much more I got the positiveness I got direction I got intelligence so no I'm not going to thank your wife because she's not about herself she is with you husband and wife so I thank both of you for giving me this great gift that is just natural to you guys God bless you from now on forever

I went swimming with the whale sharks August 2019. While It was an amazing experience, and got good footage, I was a bit disappointed that we were all forced to wear a life jacket. I wanted to use a wet suit , so as to have a little more freedom and be able to dive down and get even better shots on MY go pro.
Honestly? Just normal life vests- we just forced ourselves underwater by swimming as hard as possible against the vests! Life vests were mandatory on this tour as well.
I'm still worried that you didn't lock the door. Great video though.
