Considering 'Hear In The Now Frontier' could've (more or less) rather been a Chris Degarmo solo album, and the last few QR-albums with Geoff Tate ended up with the Tate's hijacking the album-process, you gotta respect Whip even more for having the integrity to release this under his own name as a side project! 🤘
Thank you for commenting about this. I always thought Hear in the Now Frontier was a DeGarmo solo album and everything after him was a Tate hijacked album yet everyone wants those 2 back. Instead of using the Ryche name, Whip uses his own name. I just wish Tate and DeGarmo had done the same.
@@NovaDan78 Thanks, that's exectly my point. I didn't want to mention it, but you're spot on with describing that contradictory view of some people who still want Tate and Degarmo back. Yet the albums they had the most of their individual credits, is some of the least popular QR releases. Sure, they were a great writing team on Mindcrime/Empire, but so were Wilton/Degarmo and Wilton/Tate. Yet Wilton rarely gets the credit he truly deserves.
So stoked to hear this!! ❤ you!!
This will be epic!!! Congrats to Michael, and I can't wait!!❤
Ordered my copy yesterday. Went with the Deluxe Fan bundle. Very excited for this.

Michael Wilton is way too underrated. Some of the most iconic riffs from QR were written by him.
🤘🤘
Dang, I was so psyched when I saw this interview advertisement, but it's only 4 minutes......
4 is all you need
Congratulations Michael and That's A Great Idea!!!
