0:30 I knew this interview was gonna suck when the first question was "how is the tour so far". Thats almost as cliche as how did the band start, and what are your influences.
I absolutely loved their show in Mesa recently. Proud that they’re still going, every member is a legend to me. I wish I could have seen the older lineups during Formulas or Blessed. RIP Richard Brunelle, gone too soon. Stay safe Pete, lots of us worry for Trey. Take care of yourself!
I'm not really a fan of the I Am Morbid band but I'm so happy to see Pete back behind the drumkit, looking healthier and happier. I really wish him all the best. And DAMN can he still blast! Holy moly.
Pete Sandoval developed the style of playing blast beat up to Metronome. Also Sandoval developed technique to play blast beat for longer periods of time. In my eyes he is the developer of the technique. For instance - Terrorizer's Dead Shall Rise is a Hard piece for any drummer even to this Day. Blast beat sections are very long compared to early Napalm Death /Sarcofago/Repulsion
Excellent...!!
