The weapon from Hanuman has 34 less attack. The raw damage will provide more overall to his physical output. The auto ability is nice, but most of the time in a fight where you would be buffing you'd almost certain be using Attis and Thermopylae making the auto ability less relevant.
You can eventually get Auto-Mataru on Joker, making Ryuji Jingu Bang's Auto-Tarukaja outdated. Also giving him Mjolnir will allow you to get rid of Elec Boost to give his skill set more room.
Ryuji can also use Ryui Jingu Bang by itemizing Hanuman. Mjolnir might have higher base damage, but it's the special ability that makes Ryui Jingu Bang better. Personally I prefer this to mjolnir because the auto taru you get gives him higher damage for the first three turns. The electric buff from mjolnir kinda goes to waste since he doesn't use magic all that often.
The weapon from Hanuman has 34 less attack. The raw damage will provide more overall to his physical output. The auto ability is nice, but most of the time in a fight where you would be buffing you'd almost certain be using Attis and Thermopylae making the auto ability less relevant.
@@RozalinGaming Not necessarily saying it's just better, but is still an option for best weapon. You get more than 34 damage out of the buff for three turns in which you either win most battles or just rebuff him. There is merit in that, along side not wasting a turn to charge and buff then attack. Sure Mjolnir is 34 better but the passive ability isn't as useful is all I'm saying.
@@harlock1550 Out of curiosity I decided to run some tests with both weapons, keeping Tarukaja buffed when using Jingu Bang but not buffing with Mjolnir to see the difference, which wasn't as big as I expected. Without buffs Mjolnir's extra 34 attack makes up 28% of the difference that the auto-buff provides, meaning that extra raw damage is worth a little more than half of a Tarukaja buff in damage which is pretty interesting to find out.
@@RozalinGaming That is interesting. I do have both weapons and I've been curious about what the main difference was in the math. To me I just value the free buff, over the raw damage and elec boost.

Both of Protagonist's guns add stats, and since Nataraja R gives +6 to all stats, you can just up persona stats until they are 93. It's not much, but whatever.
I guess its more important to look for the better passives than raw damage and hit stats. In my experience with persona series, It was more important for me to focus on getting weapons with better status inflicting effects and also those increasing SP points for characters. Thanks for the tips! Its kinda interesting to note that Morgana gets the best weapon from Haru's Confidant and Ann gets her best gun after maxing Yusuke's. And then there's Joker and Makoto who get their best options for 'maxing' their own Confidants. Talk about self-sufficiency! Also, any thought on the best weapon for Joker on the first playthrough, when Satanael is unavailable?
Joker's best weapon on a first run is purchased from Iwai; though, I personally use him for magic and gun skills, both of which gain no benefit from melee weapons.
@@piemaster831 This guide was specifically for the best equipment, not good stuff at different stages of the game; hence why I didn't include the Arsene weapon.
Out of curiosity what do you think the best itemized accessory would be for Joker? In the original P5 it was arguably Crystal Skull or SP Adhesive, and then Orichalcum R on my first playthrough of this game (or Shiny Belt R with DLC). Since you can make Personas with 99 in all stats, all that would really matter for him is the passive effect?
I have played Scramble and I will make videos for it but I've been trying to write scripts that aren't super negative since, slight tl;dr, it's not great.
Rozalin Even if it’s a while from now I’d love to have a review of it from you. Searching for reviews only gets me praise for the demo, but tbf I’ve only looked surface-level & can’t understand Japanese.
So, assuming that 99 is the max stats for Joker's personas, having an equipment that adds stats can be ... worthless(assuming that your personas have max stats), is that correct?
The added stats mean you can min max differently, with less effort. Plus in NG+ you get a nice stat boost in the early game. Makoto can get +18 to all stats if you gave Judge End and the Orichalcom accessory on.
@@harlock1550 what do you mean by "min max differently", is it so hard to spend a few extra money through gallows while fusion alert is off to max all (or almost) the stats? It should also save some time as you don't need to save&reload to work on the RNG Plus, afaik you get to keep your personas(with max stats) in NG+ For the side characters, yes, those are invaluable items, but for Joker it appear to be somewhat lacking of extra effects
@@jekytck P5R might be different, but in P5 you couldn't max all stats legitimately from what I remember. But it means if you have tyrant pistol with +15 magic then you don't need to waste the time getting it to 99 and instead get it to 84. It also means you have more points to put somewhere else like Agility or Endurance. So depending on the +stats you have it can change how you min max. The RNG can be really annoying when trying to get very specific stats to grow optimally. Lots of saving and reloading if you're just unlucky. Oh and you do get to keep your persona in NG+ but to keep max stats you need to register them, but that also makes them more expressive.
Bonus stats on weapons would be pointless for Joker if his Persona had max 99 in all stats; however, the raw damage of melee weapons would affect his damage with physical skills, as would guns affecting gun skills.

If you are getting Sirius Armor EX then you are getting the Lucifer Guard R I mention in the video; Atlus West changed (mistranslated) it, among many other things. If it is not the EX version and only the normal version, then that would be due to not itemizing during a Fusion Alarm.
Hmm, I don't remember it being too difficult. Are you keeping buffs up on your party and keeping the boss debuffed? Attis (Hanged Man) can really help with buffs if you keep his Persona trait and use Thermopylae. As for debuffs, access to Debilitate is great but even without that a simple attack down debuff should lower the damage you receive significantly.

You can eventually get Auto-Mataru on Joker, making Ryuji Jingu Bang's Auto-Tarukaja outdated.
Also giving him Mjolnir will allow you to get rid of Elec Boost to give his skill set more room.
Thanks this was really helpful
Is Pro Parrying Dagger still the best not NG+ melee weapon for Joker?
I'd say so
Ryuji can also use Ryui Jingu Bang by itemizing Hanuman.

@@harlock1550 I think in just random battles the Jingu Bang is the way to go but for bosses Mjolnir would be my go to.
I was actually really surprised though by how much the raw damage made up in the calculations.
Well, I'm gonnas ghost Akechi, now that I got the option, so unless they changed Lucifer's fusion formular, I guess I'm missing out on Joker's guns.
Is there actually a point to having +stat items if you can get your persona to all 99 in this game?
No but the +stats allows you to not get them to 99 since the guns or whatever gives you the stat to get you to 99
Both of Protagonist's guns add stats, and since Nataraja R gives +6 to all stats, you can just up persona stats until they are 93.
When its first playthrough get the weapons from Iwai for the Protag it is Baselard or Frenzy Dagger depending if you reach the extra Semester.
Joker's best weapon on a first run is purchased from Iwai; though, I personally use him for magic and gun skills, both of which gain no benefit from melee weapons.
@@RozalinGaming alarm itemizing arsene gives a fantastic early game weapon for your first playthrough
@@piemaster831 This guide was specifically for the best equipment, not good stuff at different stages of the game; hence why I didn't include the Arsene weapon.
Does the Electric Chair in Royal still have the 1 day per use Cooldown?? or did they change it?
WAIT YOU GET BETTER ITEMS DURING FUSION ALARM???
Nice guide, could you make a video explaining the best accessories for each character?
There really isn't a best accessory for each character as what is best is both highly subjective and fight dependent.
So I have Messiah but it doesnt give me Lucifer Guard R, it gives me Sirius Armor R
It was probably a typo from him
Out of curiosity what do you think the best itemized accessory would be for Joker? In the original P5 it was arguably Crystal Skull or SP Adhesive, and then Orichalcum R on my first playthrough of this game (or Shiny Belt R with DLC). Since you can make Personas with 99 in all stats, all that would really matter for him is the passive effect?
I don't use DLC Persona or items so I always stick to SP Adhesives or the various Will Seed accessories.
Anything that doesn't boost stats, really, SP Adhesive is my personal fave, but Will Seed accessories(Sae's especially) or Divine Pillar.
Great video! Just wondering, have u played persona 5 scramble yet? And if u have, you ever going to make videos on it?
I have played Scramble and I will make videos for it but I've been trying to write scripts that aren't super negative since, slight tl;dr, it's not great.
Rozalin I thought everyone liked scramble
@@______-uw3ei People liked the demo. The game itself is incredibly flawed, unpolished, and neither a good musou game nor a good Persona game.
Rozalin oh damm I was excited for it tho it may never get dubbed or subbed anyway
It should also save some time as you don't need to save&reload to work on the RNG
Plus, afaik you get to keep your personas(with max stats) in NG+
For the side characters, yes, those are invaluable items, but for Joker it appear to be somewhat lacking of extra effects
@@harlock1550 btw I'm genuinely asking as I'm not in endgame yet in P5Royal
I wonder why after I subscribed to your channel, I cannot click the "small bell" to let me know when you upload new videos. Anyhow, thanks again for all your videos.

Gordios helped a lot against lavenza
Yes. It was previously Sabazios as well. I like it better than Vajra.
Can someone spell the name of the persona that makes Kasumi's best ranged-weapon?
Ardha.
ryuji Mjolnir is weaker than the weapon you get from itemising hanuman
In a vacuum, yes. But if you are using an auto-buffing Persona and/or using Thermopylae then the upside of Hanuman's weapon becomes irrelevant.
Are there any other good options for joker?
is it possible to get all of these Personas if you have the Legacy DLC? I tried doing combinations from the calculator online but get totally different persona. I even switched the tab to include DLC, but I still get the same results. I really want to collect them all.
The DLC doesn't prevent you from fusing the entire compendium.
@@RozalinGaming Is there an accurate calculator then because the one from github doesn't help.

2-lucifer have (Allure of Wisdom:Reduces costs of magic skills by 75%) how much i lost sp with spell Master or without spell Master ?
@Mikhiel Rearaxin thanks for your answer.
@Mikhiel Rearaxin thanks you again and god bless you 😊.
Tried itemizing messiah but can’t get same result on P5R
If you are getting Sirius Armor EX then you are getting the Lucifer Guard R I mention in the video; Atlus West changed (mistranslated) it, among many other things. If it is not the EX version and only the normal version, then that would be due to not itemizing during a Fusion Alarm.
Soo I really need help with the final boss they keeps killing me with Megadolin and I can't do anything 😫

Wait...what about Hanuman’s itemization weapon for Ryuji?
it's not that good in Royal. even in original P5, Mjolnir is still better. the Hanuman weapon gives Auto-Tarukaja which is boring, Joker can get Auto-Mataru. get Mjolnir instead for Elec Boost so you can change Elec Boost from Ryuji's persona to Shock Boost as they do not stack.
@@Zrego but elec boost isn’t good on Ryuji? His magic stat is bad. If you want electrical damage using Joker is better for it
@@shadexvii3975 for me the Hanuman weapon's auto-tarukaja would go to waste if i have auto-mataru on Joker
@@Zrego I see. Though by running Ryuji’s Hanuman weapon over Mjolnir you make running auto matarukaja on Joker unnecessary and can use that slot for something else instead. Whereas the elec boost of Mjolnir doesn’t work with his elec amp and elec boost, so he gets less benefit. Plus shock boost is sorta meh on him, because he’s a better physical attacker than magical
@@shadexvii3975 i know he is better at physical, but well i'd like to give him some "magical perks" as well. and of course i wouldn't put 3 auto-ma skills on Personas i main. i mainly use this auto-ma persona for bosses like the twins and then switch to my main damage dealer personas.

I remember fusing him using the calculator. Make sure to go to the settings page and select all of the DLC which you have. DLC fusions mess with regular fusions and that option shows the proper fusions with your DLC.
There are 4 ways to do so but the only one that doesn't use DLC is Maria x Ongyo-ki. The rest require Messiah Picaro.

Futaba armor?? Itemize Fortuna I believe + luck??? Oversight.

Luck has been disproven to actually affect Futaba’s ability activation rates, it’s just a common myth.
Her 2nd awakening actually drops her luck so it really would make no sense to have it impact her rates.
@@emotional_st0rm Is there a way to affect Futaba's chances of doing something?
@@elmina9403
I've heard some people say that her confidant rank impacts how often she uses her skills, but I'm not sure if that's 100% true.
The only known way to increase Futaba's activation rates is to go to the Jazz Club with her on Sundays. You have to do this a total of four times. For the first three sessions, she will learn party wide debuffing skills. For the fourth and final visit, she learns a skill which increases her chances of activating all of her skills.
@@emotional_st0rm Gotcha. Thank you for the tips!
@@elmina9403
No problem, as Futaba is my favourite character I used to scour the internet looking for ways to buff her up too, but sadly that's all you can really do.
Oh also, even though I'm not sure if raising her confidant increases likelihood of skill activation, her Rank 7 gives her the ability to cast charge + concentrate on the whole party or to recover SP, which is super strong, so it's worth doing anyway. Rank 10 also allows her to block all damage from a lethal blow once per fight.
