    Thank you for this series. I started with Part 4 and came back to the start. I have carved cotton wood bark and understand what you mean by carving what the wood tells you. After watching this series, I may have to try FOG wood for a carving or two. I have always used my power tools for detail work or cleanup work on my carvings. I may have to try using it for some of the rough out work. Again, thanks!

      Thank you for watching. I have always wanted to try cottonwood bark. It isn’t native to my area and I’d need to have it shipped. FOG wood is abundant here, so it’s my go to.
