Hi thanks for the sharing g. I am actually interested to know where did u get your stone guard sticker from? Its much wider and better looking than the usual ones insee
When you place the screwdriver you are basically pushing the internal black piece up so that the tab can clear it during extraction. You should not twist on any position.
@@porsche987projects7 Thankyou! Your video is very good, it’s just hard to determine the amount of force to remove it first time. Actually, it didn’t break; Thankyou for your patience
Best video on removing 987 side grills. This made my job much easier. Much appreciation.
Thanks, glad it help!!!
Third time I've used this. The other videos show nothing. Thanks 👍🏻
James, thanks for coming back ..lol. Glad this helped.
Thank you. It took me many attempts and tools, but I was able to get the bottom plastic piece off using the screw-driver technique you used.
Glad it worked, it does take some time, once out seems so easy.
Great stuff - thank you 👍🏽
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really good video. Great idea to show it what you need to do while it is off the car 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Darren, glad it helps
Can you please tell me how to get the plastic vents you made ..the inside ones ? Thanks
Tony, send me an email to cadporsche@gmail.com; I will send all detail information
Very useful info. Should probably be using a plastic shim, like the ones for lifting laptop keyboards off, rather than a metal screwdriver though.
Agreed John, that help as well; on the lower hole you will need a thin one

Of course, these are magnets from magnagrafik.com/
The bottom clip was the hardest one.
Not sure what you mean by just pushing in with screw driver.
I pushed, twisted whatever and it broke
