Great information. Used your rebuild kit for my stock turbos with the wastegates and they have been feeling strong. I did plan on upgrading to 19ts once i broke them but I seriously doubt i can anytime soon so i may just swap them anyway. Looking forward to the next video to see how i can tell if i need to rebalance if and when i do this upgrade

Thanks for all your work on these turbos. I know there are a lot of guys making the switch to upgraded turbos. Guess I'll pull my turbos and grab a couple kits from you. 👍👍👍. Also do you know for a fact that the tdo4hl turbine doesn't fit the housing? If I'm going to pull the turbos and try and bullet proof them I might as well upgrade?

Where's the second video checking the balance? Also how much would it cost to send you a set of brand new 19t's for the preventive kit along with balancing?
Do yo think it would be possible to put a TDO4HL turbine wheel in these housings with machining? I have always wondered if possible as I imagine it would reduce the exhaust side restriction quite a bit.
Have you done many rebuilds or modifications to the PTE6262 ball bearing turbocharger?
What do you think of 17t? Need your input is it same kit?

- Does this kit work for the eBay 17T's as well (Specifically vivautoparts, or any relevent 17ts with the 6 blade)
- viv-autoparts states their 19T's on ebay have the upgraded harwdare, i know your turbos didn't come from the same seller, but would you believe they actually do?

Great info. I will be purchasing kits. I have 2 new 19Ts, and do you recommend the complete rebuild kit or just replacement parts kit?
Also I have heard that the oil seal ring so be changed to a "overlapping" seal to avoid oil leak. Do you agree? If so do you sell this, or is it apart of your rebuild kit?
The turbo already has the staggered seal. The reason they leak is from the failure of the parts shown, when the parts fail the turbo assembly moves in the axial direction and is mashing into the seals causing the sides of the piston rings to wear

Great video! please post link to upgraded parts and quality check video for these. I have a set of brand new "19T" and im kinda scared to install them with their high failure rate. If i can upgrade them and be on the safe side that would be very encouraging. I also noticed that mine have a part number showing ''19TB'' which seems to be some sort of revision of the early 19T from the same chinese suppliers, however i have no idea what have been revised since their first ''19T''. I think the early version had some issues with oil drain or feed port but not sure if anything else has been changed.

They never mentioned if they changed the oring to the correct size. They really need to be checked anyway. Because the parts haw change hands too many times to know of someone is being truthful about what they are selling
You should do a review on the b7/b8 A4 K04 turbos.
Hey is there a way I can send you my 19Ts for the rebuild and if so whats the estimate price? I know you probably get asked this many times but I literally asked everyone here in Chicago and no one wants to touch them because they’re from China.
We can upgrade them or repair them if needed. It depends on the extent of the damage but it’s possible fir it to med cartridge replacements but I can try to repair them for 375-650 for both

Necessary to rebalance ? Seriously you rebalance everything even if its stock and keeping the same orientation.
These turbos are junk, car put 450whp on stock turbos, while it put 430whp on 19T. Something is not correct with those turbos, could be restrictive turbine housing or wheels design.

With supporting mods? I made 570 on e and fbo with 17ts
@@justlolz1411 Tuned, FBO, meth injection on 98 RON. 17Ts is better than 19T first batch. They released V2 with 6+6 compressor wheels
Umm yeah, idk what happened but you shouldn’t have a decrease in power from upgraded turbos even on the same tune. A buddy of mine switched from stock turbo FBO custom tune and just changing the turbos he gained like 80whp on the same tune.
@@Xtremecarfan10188 That supposed to be. I'm still digging into this issue, could be something else came into after replacing the turbos. Who knows.
