Yes i was fishing open water.. in the winter time the fish move to creek channels and deep water.. I just mostly scan around about 45 to 55 feet look for crappie

Thomas just letting you know you should go to Eufaula alabama for crappie cause there’s a lot of structure and crappie and gators but the best time to go is when there in the Lily pads with a bobber and minnow and you should stay at the back water cabins it’s better than a hotel by a mile and half for sure plus your close to the water
