I'll try this recipe..when I make roti they tend to come out hard..maybe I use to much flour..I see what u mean about changing the texture of the dough..pls advise...tnx😊
Your rotis has too much oil/butter and not good at all..very unhealthy!Sorry no hate but I would not recommend them. No need for salt and all that butter.
Sorry to say If you don't like it keep your comments to yourself. I grew up with very much the same recipe. I am 67yrs of age and very healthy. Did you know pure butter is healthy. 😊
@@fionathomas464 I am entitled to my opinion..so shut the hell up you old woman. BTW - I know ghee is healthy but food should not be saturated, its all about moderation. Dont be rude, you old woman.
What is the reason for the roti not staying soft the next day and week . It's soft when I toast it but by the afternoon it feels thick and hard. I roll out evenly in the centre and sides but it still feels thick in the centre.
It’s great you’re rolling it out evenly and using the right amount of flour but I would recommend covering the cooked roti with a damp kitchen towel or a clean cloth, as this will help to keep them soft and fresh.
I Perfected Perfected the roti, have you got other recipe like ravoli

You're on the right track, sometimes too much flour can make the dough dry and hard - good luck with the recipe! 🙏
@@SaleemsKitchen786 thank you
I love rich Roti's especially with jam ❤❤❤, thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Why are you adding salt when the butter is already salted but your recipes are are very good
I put no salt
Your recipe says one teaspoon of salt
Extra flavor. Thanks 🙏
I thought rotis r made using baking powder like the tortillas. To me these is more of chapattis than royi
Rotis and chapatis are very similar, but you are right, they do not use baking powder.

I actually like it like that👍
@@latifatbintusaad9558 - You may like that but its not healthy at all - enough oil and ghee to give a heart attack!!
That is how my parents and grannies used to make it and they were so strong and lived long lives. Love this recipe. Eat less but eat good food.

I have been trying to get to grips with roti making, I will try your method, is it ok to use just ordinary what flour and not use atta?
Yes normal wheat flour is perfect. Hope you get it right. God bless 🙏

Meant rotis not royi.
Too much butter oily unhealthy
I agree that this recipe is high in butter, but if you’re concerned about the fat content you can always use less. Thanks 🙏
Use less oil use less butter
