Tire brand and type can... make a big difference, especially if over-inflated.
Try a set of Michelin’s at the correct pressure.
Can TOTALLY change the ride, and dramatically lower cabin road noise.

As a mom who is currently looking into a minivan I have to say that it does sound like nitpicking. I’m fine with them using lighter materials to get the MPG up, especially after driving my 09 MDX around and getting like 13 MPG. It also keeps the cost down so families with kids can actually afford a vehicle this large with all the family-centered features they build in.
But most important of all, the 04 Odyssey (along with the Sienna) is top of its class in safety. No caravan or Sedona will be a family’s first choice if they look at the safety ratings. I’ll gladly pay the Honda premium and deal with a few rattles for those extra safety stars.

We bought a 2016 Honda Odyssey in September 2016 for $6,000 off MSRP, 3 year lease 12,000 miles. At first it seemed really nice and stuff but after about 500 miles, weird issues came up. One, there was a weird creaking noise coming out of the pillar from the passenger side sliding door. A wind noise from the drivers side door, it was not coming out of any other window, it becomes really annoying after 10 minutes on the highway, the transmission recently started to jerk violently, rarely though, whenever going from a stop as if it was struggling to engage. Usually, the transmission and engine work wonderfully together, really nice engine noise and the transmission shifts very smoothly, but it worries me that it may not be working right. Then the panel gaps on the exterior of the car. On the tailgate, there is a very obvious gap on the right side. it has been there since day one but we just noticed it last week. the tail light on that side is also not aligned and is sort of in a diagonal direction. and because of that gap, whenever it rains, there is a lot more water on that side vs the other side. Also, the center console cover, every time you would open it, it would click. also, the cover for the spare tire, there is a latch which began to come loose and constantly rattle when driving. We told the dealership about the spare tire rattle issue, center console cover, driver side wind noise, and creaking noise out of the pillar from the passenger side sliding door. They were able to fix the center console, the creaking noise and the spare tire rattle but they kept claiming that they couldn't "detect" the wind noise. We even drove with the manager and he couldn't hear it when it was clearly happening. the plastics in the car are not very well cut out and there are parts that are not very well fitted. Sometimes, when you have bluetooth on, the sound will only come on from the right side speakers. and when that happens when you make a call, there is no sound coming from any of the speakers. When listening to XM radio, sometimes it will glitch and you can't select any other channel. It is getting really frustrating. Honda better do well on their next Odyssey. Thankfully its just a lease.

Picked up a 2013 EX-L and love it minus the VCM. Fouled a plug and put me into limp home mode. I bought a VCM eliminator and it runs great. I expect no more fouled plugs and lower oil consumption. I hope Honda has eliminated VCM from the factory.

I did test drive the new 2018 and they have upped their game so to speak. But I still refuse to trade in my 2007 Honda Odyssey!!! I love this van and I've never liked mini vans before ever period!!! Always been a truck or luxury Sudan kinda gal. I like to be comfy when I drive! This van does that and my passengers are just as comfy! I just have a granddaughter I pack along with me and she loves to jump in and ride, I can't say she is excited about the truck as much. Unless it's her granddad's huge Dodge 3500! Which trump's all...

I have a 2015 Odyssey EXL and generally happy with it. I don’t get those creaking noises but wish it was quieter from the road noise. This is my primary complaint with all cars I’ve owned. It is garage kept in the north east region and has been driven to Orlando and back 7 times. I’ve driven Siena rentals equally as much to and back from Orlando. Both good vans but I prefer the stiffer suspension of the Odyssey but you definitely feel the road more. Siena has a softer ride but also has much more body roll. I hate that grove on the side for the sliding door on the Odyssey which has changed in recent models to be more discreet like the Siena. My main complaint with Siena is the 2nd row seats. Hate that plastic crap that the seats are attached to on bottom and seats don’t lean back much past 45 degrees. I wish the Odyssey had a 2nd row power outlet like the Sienna. Had to buy an extension to run from the one way in the cargo area to the 2nd row. My big surprise with the Odyssey is how well it does in the snow with the stock Continental TrueContact all season tires. The cool box on the Odyssey is also something I don’t find practical. Would have preferred to have that space used for more storage. I wish the Odyssey had auto folding side mirrors. It is a wide vehicle and is tight getting into a standard garage with mirrors out. I’m not aware of any minivan having that feature.

Our 2015 Accord is absolutely awesome. It's super quiet, sporty as hell, and superb fuel economy. I couldn't be happier with it. It is also really fun to drive. I agree that Honda has some area's they could improve on and may have fallen off in quality here and there. But overall Honda has been supplying Americans with great ultra reliable, stylish, fun to drive, and fuel economic vehicles for years. I can't wait to buy another one.

Completely agree with you. I've owned nothing but Hondas all my life and the 2008 Ody is the last one I'll buy. I have had so many issues with the exterior trim pieces, interior plastics, leather breaking down at pressure points, rubber seals on the doors falling off. I should have known something was up when the rubber door seals began falling off the day after I took delivery of the brand new vehicle! Also, my driver side auto door has not functioned properly since the first year owning it. I've taken it back to the dealership 4 times and each time they say they've made an adjustment and it's fixed and within a week, the door stuttering starts again. I've had it! Paid cash for it so I'm holding on until it stops running. My next vehicle will definitely not be a Honda.

i got 2019 odyssey exl.. im happy with the features and the exterior & interior looks BUT im am dismayed and pissed off of the noise it creates inside the cabin while on highway especially on concrete roads. ive had a dodge journey and jeep cherokee before, and they were far quiter than this odyssey.. while im driving the odyssey with my wife on the basement parking lot about 20km/hr, i told my wife this was the noise that cherokee and journey creates when i drove it w/ a speed of 120km/hr on highway.

Christian Harlow. I commend you for this video, I believe a big problem with all new cars are the large wheels, and tires with narrow sidewalls. These transmit more of the impact of road bumps to the car, which in tern causes rattles and more road noise, this type of tire also causes more wear on suspension and steering parts.

Just bought an 2011 and it’s definitely a noisy ride. I figured it’s just because it’s a heavy van with a lot of windows. They sit low to the ground to. I like the van though. My trunk is all scratched in the back. I’m guessing the previous owner threw like 20 strollers back there because it’s pretty bad. I agree with the cheap plastic for the interior.

Chrysler minivans are not bad..maybe the very early ones such as the pre 96 style but 2004-present I have seen many for sale online with well over 200,000 miles and still going strong..I saw one with 464,000 miles with the 3.8 V-6 and another with 367,000 miles same 3.8 engine..They are NOT bad vans..that would be like saying all Honda vans are crap because a few early years had tranny issues! Same for Dodge..Dodge was the FIRST minivan! I would rather have a Town & Country minivan instead of a Honda van any day! Dodge Stow N Go seating beats all the others...all rear seats hide in the floor..not just the rear seat like Honda and Toyota..

  • @theINQBS
    @theINQBS 7 ปีที่แล้ว

I've had about 15 Honda's over the years and my brother the same and the only 2 that presented with issues was a 2011 Odyssey. When you'd go over a speed bump it the suspension would make the distinct sound of the rubber seat for the coilover springs not sitting flush. Took it to the dealership and they dropped the suspension and replaced it and it never made the noise again.
The other issue was on my '97 Civic DX which was professionally lowered and really souped up all over. The car was at the time 7 years old and I was stopped at a light when suddenly it sputtered and turned off. I turned it off and turned it back on and the check engine light turned on and then it flashed and turned off and as I released the clutch and started lurching forward it sputtered and turned off. This time however, the check engine light turned off and the engine was shaking.
I took it to the dealer to have it looked at and since it was due for an oil change, I figured I'd get that done too and asked them to call me once they diagnose the issue. They called a couple hours later to tell me that it was the idle sensor that had shorted out initially and when i turned the car back on, the backup sensor kicked in, but then that one shorted and blew too. They had to replace both sensors and the harness that they connect to so I said OK do it and they told me the car would be ready in an hour.
So I get there and the service tech hands me my keys and I ask how much the damage was and he says Oh there is no charge because Honda warranties those parts for 11 years and the oil change is on us for the inconvenience!
    How's that for customer service??!?!?
I bought a 2008 Mazda 3 hatch after that and while it drives really well and is very ample and comfortable, EVERYTHING creeks and/or rattles and their service is BY FAR AND LARGE… THE ABSOLUTE WORST from any manufacturer I've ever dealt with, and I had a ford once!!!
Mazda is so bad that even though My car was the very first one to present with a major electrical system flaw that took engineers almost 6 weeks to figure out (the car was only 2 months old at the time) and as a result led to a recall for the model, that issue is nowhere in my car's history/records!!! I had to take them the bill they footed for the car rental all those 6 weeks as well as the dealership diagnostics and services rendered for them to honor the damn radio recall. And they scratched my interior swapping out the head unit and never replaced the damaged parts.
THAT is grounds for disliking a company. not a single vehicle creaking, but if you know how to light a fire under a manufacturer and the dealer's asses, you can have them fix these issues for you. And if it's that bad you can call up your insurance company and have them assist you in getting this matter rectified. Our 2016 Odyssey makes zero noises and is a sheer gen to drive, as were our 2013, 2011 and 2008 Odysseys.

My 2014 odyssey paint has been pealing between the primer and the exterior paint. It started pealing just after six year. I bought it brand new. The dealer only repainted the panels affected at that time. Honda quality guy told me that the problem was happening only on the tailgate, the roof or the hood. I told him that I want my entire car repainted but they would not do that and that repainting the affected panels was already a big favor to me. He said that Honda had no obligation to repaint the panels for me. Now, more and more places starting to peal and the car warranty has expired.

The carpet is also horrible, not just the carpet itself, but how its installed and where its seamed together. I'll have to say though we don't notice any unusual noises with ours, and I wasn't able to hear your examples in the video.

This thing rides very quietly, like if it was electric engine... sometimes I shut off radio and drive e out just to see of I hear something and nothing... nada!.. it's extremely quiet.. theres even construction of some roads in my area and it drives extremely quiet.
You must have bought a poorly maintained model. This is my 7th honda/Acura owned so I am also an Informed Customer.

100% right . I have done lots of mechanical work on 2004, 2006, 2012 Odysseys.
2011 and up has more suspension issues than older models. One of the main issues is that front passenger side axle shaft bearing has no heat protection from exhaust , which is only 1.5 inches away. 120k miles you most likely gonna have frond end shake around 30-40 miles an hour . Struts and mounts are cheaper quality also.
Best odyssey ever made is 2005-2010 NON ECO vehicles . They have cheap engine mounts and NO eco vibration
Eco mounts 450$ each , and even you change them with oem honda parts , car still vibrates on hwy steady speeds
ECO honda odyssey drive 80-100k miles and let it go:)

Hey Christian, I also own a 2015 Honda Odyssey (touring elite) and have been very disappointed in the amount of front end / suspension / road noise! I took it to the dealership to let them hear it and they changed some grommets or something in front end that helped but it still has substantial noise. Have you been able to get anywhere with Honda on this issue? Also, does your odyssey have a DVD player and, if so, have you tried playing burnt copies of DVDs? We have 4 kids and I make copies of the DVDs to keep originals from scratching. The DVD player in the 2015 odyssey consistently has issues playing an exact duplicate of the DVDs and not sure why as they play just fine in any other player! Thanks, Adam

so weird. we have a 2016 odyssey touring since new. We have no problems what so ever. we have 3 teenagers so we really use all the rows and everything and they throw stuff all over the place. There are no noises or issues like you stated on your video. But I will be looking and listening for them since the car is now 3 years old (bought late 2015). I'm sorry that you don't get a loaner car when you get your van serviced because our dealer provides one if they need to keep the car the whole day or more, and I actually think it's up to the dealer to provide one for you. Good information on this video hope you get it fixed.

It might be helpful to know when and where yours was built, Christian. Perhaps the one you bought was made on a bad week in a less-than-optimal performing assembly plant? I haven't had any of the noise issues you're having. The road noise in my EX-L is as quiet as the 2017 Audi A6 I also drive. I've been very impressed that my Odyssey hasn't developed a squeak or rattle in 190,00 miles. Nor has it needed any repairs other than a driver's window actuator. But mine's a 2011built in Tennessee. Who knows what's changed in those fours years since. But still, knowing when and where yours was built would give people some potentially useful info. And sorry you got a bad one. It's frustrating when that happens. I went though it with a Mini. talk about an expensive frustration!

Down to even things like the turn signal stalk feel. Odd as I felt the exterior was a massive upgrade from a styling perspective.

Christian, are you on OdyClub? If not, you can see there if other Ody owners have similar creaking. It's hard for me to hear the creaking (I understand it wasn't at its creakiest). I hear noise, but am not sure if it's microphone noise. Creaking and rattling would drive me crazy! My 2003 Ody doesn't creak. I just test drove a 2016. I'll have to drive one again, but down a bad road next time; however, the noises probably developed over time.

Yep! My first Honda O was a lemon. New with only 76 miles when I took delivery. At about 2000 mile the van started to die at red lights and stop signs. Went in the shop like 5 time and could not find the issue. Had a rental for 5 months. Just put it this way. I came out ahead with a new 2014.

I own a 2105 EX-L - leather interior. I agree the plastic is super easy to scratch. I rest my elbow slightly lower on a door elbow rest holding the steering wheel from below when cruising. I figured out the creaking noises - you need silicon grease and rub into the seals - get one Honda branded for all weather conditions. Check tire pressure for softer ride.. Problem solved.
Loaner vehicle is available at my dealer.
All in all - the van drives well and easily goes above speed limit and I feel comfortable taking over cars on the highway. Switching off traction control and stability control makes it even faster. It's a good van.

I stopped at 6:56 only to realize this man is here to complain something that most would not dare if they had ridden in another minivan and not a premium 7seater SUV. The cabin noise.?!?
I’m not a Honda fan but have to admit Honda greatly served many at sometime in their life. Today they are only in the middle of the pact in terms of reliability stats and it’s been near 10 years, however, savvy and thrifty people would not hesitate to consider a Honda for their next vehicle.
I apologize for being so direct because this is like a co worker complaining about all without engaging any sign of trying to be help and propose towards an improvement...Well, try naming any other minivan in the market that’s a better bang for your $$ on its first year, second, 3rd, and so on. It will finish always first if not second place because no one really dare taking Honda and Toyota out of its class.
I would consider a Toyota Sienna to haul my wife and children but since it’s not an issue for me at this time I would take an odyssey for it’s much more fun to drive factor and the presence of peace of mind of a safe, cheap to maintain and reliable vehicle.
    Just my 2 cents

I’m here checking to see if this guy has had transmission problems with his 2015 Odyssey. We had to replace two transmissions in our 2000 Odyssey. We had an ‘09, but I think we got by any trans. problems…unfortunately it was totaled at about 80K. Now we have a 2015 Odyssey, which we bought used with 45K on it. We noticed whining and jerking around 20-40 mph. Honda did a minor software adjustment, but found nothings major. That was two years ago and now it only has only 55K and now the D is flashing and transmission jerking. Hopefully, it’s something minor, but we had it towed to avoid possible further damage. Except for a sliding door sensor not working properly, we like the vehicle. But again, it only has 55K on it. I’m just wary of transmission problems, as we had major issues on our first van, a ‘91 Plymouth Voyager. However, I expect a lot more from a Honda!

I had to watch half of the video just to get to the main topic. Sound was not audible on the video. I would have liked to hear what you were talking about, but the video was just unfortunate.
I have a '15 Odyssey. Noise is not a complaint of mine. So far, I don't have any issues. The major issue with Odysseys is the weak transmission and then the engine. That is my main fear that someday it may happen.
As for the video, at the least you could have done was to get a decent recording of the noise, since that was the main topic of the video, which I found out half way into the video.

I have the 2012 and I agree with your comments although at lower speeds mine is not quite as bad but still noticeable. I really wanted a Toyota in 2012 but the interior front dash plastics were absolutely a turn off. Toyota improved in 2015. Yes, the road noise is much higher than other automobiles. My Odyssey is around 70-80 dB going down the highway. My other automobile is nearly half that coming in at 47. My refrigerator, in comparison, is 70 with the noise meter placed between the rear of the unit and the wall. I had Michelin Primacy T rated tires installed and they are overrated. I switched to the Yokohama AVID Ascend H rated and they are much better and quieter. I can only offer a little advice after you try going to a softer rubber tire and that is on strut/shock replacements to possibly help with the noise. I find that KYB is ultimately better than the OEM and other brand shock or struts. They are a bit stiffer on cornering but really smooth and helpful on highway travel. I appreciate your video and will certainly look at Toyota and other brands before pulling the trigger on another Odyssey.

I purchased a 2012 LX from Carmax in June 2016. Only 40k miles on it. the vinyl on the arm /door rests in front are already peeling. $130 to fix one panel. The rattle noise is pissing me off. I mostly drive around town in Suburbia Orlando. Roads are decent. If my son is in the back row, I can't understand him. No radio on. I am considering getting a Kia next.....especially if the Sienna is the same. At least Kia is trying. I rented one while my Odyssey was in the shop (needed a new CV joint axel already....wtf?) and I loved it! So quiet.

Definitely a Honda guy. I love my 15' odyssey. My only complaint is the road noise. Notice driving home from the dealer just seemed loud. Let's be realistic honda has cut down or sound deading material, the pitch welds may lack some paint and rubberized coating but I'll still prefer a Honda over orher nanafacturers. 3.5L is beast gets me there same and comfortable. As far as plastic Honda didt plan for your fat elbow to ride the ledge. Your struts prob need replaced cause you hit pot holes religiously and family is over weight most likely. Family of 6 here and the van is doing great. At 26k miles looking at buying new tires. Did our 30k trans fluid change early because odyssey transmissions are known to act up in the past and we're going for the long haul on this van.

I have noticed a serious fall of Honda quality in **2006**. My mother had a 95 civic, FANTASTIC CAR!! Then she bought a 2005 Civic, it's seems to be a decent quality car. Then after 2005 got totalled by a moron semi trucker, she bought a 2006 Civic. She love the design but I think it's a piece of CRAP!! I see one plastic in front right side window coming loose on it's own. Later, left window derailed while rolling down and had to "guide" it up. Later, left side window plastic pops up. Later, front passenger window derails as rolling down. AC freon gone in WAY TOO SHORT OF TIME maybe 2 years after purchase. 95 civic was still charged at the time.
Fast forward to now. My first choice is getting a GMC minivan. No such thing unless I go a lot older. My 2nd choice is Sienna even though I find newer ones hideous on the front end and extremely bulging lighting but too expensive. I settled for the 2014 Odyssey LX. Love the looks and features. Noise is not bad since I am hard of hearing.😉 My main concern is the automatic transmission which I later find that they are garbage. That's very unfortunate, especially for that expensive van. My van is running fine and hope I don't get bombarded with a lemon. My biggest mistake is not about looking at reviews, it's about NOT researching potential problems. I fix my own vehicle but wouldn't want to have to deal with the transmission repair or replacement any more than 1 or two time for the life of the vehicle. Certainly, ZERO times for Honda cars since they've been reliable for me in the past like my previous 2003 Accord EX which I traded for the focus so I can maintain my motorcycle payments. Now that I already bought the Oddysey, I am pretty much stuck with it. Only one reason of regret, is the potential transmission issue. So, I will just have to keep close tab on that transmission and hope it will take care of me as I do to it. If I have to rebuild it,so be it.

The noise was ridiculous lol . It is hard to make a box on wheels ridged, therefore there is more torque loads on the body of the vehicle causing the noises. Your typical car has a smaller cabin with a smaller roof and angled pillars front and back adding lots of ridgety. Not much they can do to eliminate the noises unless they turn the vehicle into a tank and double the cost.

Replaced 2001 Honda Odyssey transmission at 108K miles--dealer and Honda ran from responsibility; Paid $3300 for new transmission from a non-honda shop, now have 270K miles! No engine problems, no other major problems. Sliding door problems and had to replace sliding door rollers, had to replace window regulator; sliding door now opens randomly going down the road, also have had air conditioning problems and refilled (likely normal wear and tear), harmonic balancer went out at about 220K miles which cost $250 to repair; other wise good; On my 1999 Honda Odyssey, I had to replace transmission at 180K miles; Paid another $3300 for another new transmission from a non-honda transmission shop, now have 210K miles. The 1999 Honda has a problem when cold of stalling (a honda service bulletin out shows a fix) at startup; It only happen twice and mostly no problems--I haven't fixed it; This 1999 leaks oil though but engine still runs fine. The 1999 also had an usual door problem with the driver's latch stucked locked (I fixed it myself after 10 hours of work and research on You Tube) where I had to almost cut it out. Even with the transmission problems,I still love the Honda Vans (I bought a 1990 Dodge Voyager and that transmission went out twice!) for the number of miles I've had. The door problems are/were irritating.

It's really sad to see that Honda and Toyota for that matter have let their reputation for reliability get to their heads and are releasing vehicles that are lesser quality than those of the past, they are heading down the same path the american manufacturers did in the 70's where they thought that just because it was badged as a chevrolet or ford people will buy them, this is what i have seen from the cars that come into my shop daily and they better pay attention, other brands are slowly taking away market share from honda and toyota and for good reason

I do agree the interior material quality is so/so. I purchased the Honda seat covers to protect the 2nd/3rd row seats... Poor design as they do not cover large portions of the seats and the armrest covers slide off too easily. I will be looking into some kind of floor liner to protect the carpeting soon. Do you use an aftermarket floor liner or mats?

We had a 2001 Odyssey it was a great automobile. My wife wanted another Odyssey after ten years. We purchased a 2012 and it is not nearly as good. Brake rotors are sub par, terrible jitter from warped rotors. Our Honda dealer turned the factory rotors and they were somewhat better for about 5,000 miles. I replaced with non OEM rotors and the brakes are now good. This is a common problem you will read about in many Odyssey threads. The upper mount of the front struts creak loudly when turning. You can feel the vibration in the steering wheel. The Honda dealer greased the top, but this is a very temporary fix. Honda says this isn't a serious problem. It is if you own the car. I don't understand how this once great automobile manufacturer can ignore this. Again you will see this problem discussed on many Odyssey forums. Our drivers side visor falls from its mount if you move it to the side window. The dampers no longer blow air onto the floor, no matter what setting is on the climate control. You might believe my wife is hard on the car, but on the 2001 we only changed oil and replaced brakes for 150,000 miles. Nothing else was ever needed. (Oh wait, the automatic side doors would sometimes stop working if they were covered with ice and couldn't open. We learned that you could pull fuse 13 and the doors would reset. Still it was such a better vehicle.) No more mini vans now that the children are grown, but her next car will NOT be a Honda.

I had to add that I own a 2012 Odyssey I bought Certified after agreeing on a price for a new white 2014 Touring Elite. When I went to pick up the Elite, ALL and I mean EVERY Odyssey (total of four white) on the lot had the rear hatch off center. How much off center? I took 3 of the sales person’s business cards and wedged them in-between the rear quarter panel and rear hatch. On the opposite side I put my forefinger in the large space. The sales person was dumbfounded. I said listen, if this is what I can see wrong on the surface, what is the lack quality in the engine and parts I can’t see. I apologized to him and said I am not spending $41,500 on a car with these visible issues. I went on to say these are issues I would notice stopped at red lights on trunks of American cars of the 70’s and 80’s and still see today. I don’t care if it is an easy fix. This car should never leave the factory in this condition. He was embarrassed and said Honda is supposed to be known for quality. I went on to tell him I was looking at Sienna’s at the same time and did not find ONE not ONE Toyota that had misaligned body panels. I looked at over 30 Toyotas. The Toyota dealership was across the street and I invited him to walk over there to look for himself. I did find a Certified Odyssey and purchased the 125,000 Extended Service Plan. My warranty expires 11 years from 2012 (2023) or seven years from expiration of the 1 year extended factory warranty. I have used it once. My Odyssey made a small clunking noise when turning at slow speeds. The warranty covered the replacement of both struts including front end alignment. Total dealership cost $1150. I paid $1350 for the extended warranty.

Considering I came to Honda from a 1986 GM Cadillac, you could say I was quite easily impressed. If you think this car feels cheepy, you should have seen what GM was putting out. My Brougham’s only good points were the Buttoned Leather Seats. Aside that EVERYTHING was plastic and some of the exterior body work was even rubber. All of which cracked. My 2003 Honda Odyssey now is my favorite but I don’t think I’ll go looking at Honda again, unless for used. I felt the newer cars are just plain ugly inside and the plastic cheap feel beats my 80’s GM automobile. Sucks how companies try to stretch their dollar but its business. My favorite era for Honda was late 70’s. I had a Civic from around then and it was really a good car for the money.

THANKS I have a 2016 Honda fit, love the car,I'm doing research on replacing it for a van,the grandchildren are growing up to fast,if I'm going to spend that much on a van that has that many problems I'm going to buy a Mercedes van, appreciate any comments on the durability of a Mercedes passenger van?

I just traded in my 09 with 113,890 Miles never had any road noise or anything for that matter , I only had to change my alternator ! I just brought the very top of the line 2017 touring elite it has everything in it I've owned it for about two weeks now and not one sound! I think you just need to do maintenance like better tires, a cheap tire will cause road noise! Js

I want to buy my next car but videos like this have me thinking leasing is the way to go no matter what company.

Ford Doesn't offer loaners, in fact Id wager that majority of manufacturers do not offer loaners. Though I 100% agree that it should be the standard at this point, especially considering the amount of new cars they have available for people who work at the dealership to drive. They should have enough vehicles on hand to offer loaners to paying customers and brand loyalist.

i know exactly how you feel. i traded a 08 Chevy uplander for my 15 Honda Odyssey. At first it was great. a huge improvement from the last p.o.s. but now it's really starting to not really fall apart but its not holding up to my thought of Honda's reputation. I'm really disappointed in the fact it's becoming like my old chevy but at an accelerated rate. Small things really like louder squeaking and rattling. one of my speakers had to be replaced because it speed working. The transmission is getting jerky and something new is my engine is ticking. Ive only had this van for a year and a half. My wife wants to trade it in for a Pacifica.
