Im down for anyone coming back, actors permitting. I can totally get though why some would not want to return, whether because of franchise disillusionment or online abuse.
That’s my stance as well. Among the characters who are still around post-Exogol, I’d love to see ALL of them back. It would be a beautiful dream come true to see Rey teaming up with Finn, Poe, Rose, and BB8. But I understand it might not happen due to fatigue from the actors, so I’ll respect whatever decision they make.
Q&A: Since EA did change Senator Sejan's head structure from Pau'uns' traditional head from the trailer to match the similar head like how Grand Inquisitor was in The Obi-Wan Kenobi series in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Do you think that Pau'uns actually grow their head due to alien aging, or do you think Pau'uns grow their heads larger sometime after when they lost their first stomach?
@@mattmatt563 Same. When people complained about the Grand Inquisitor not looking like the Pau'un in _Revenge of the Sith,_ I wrote it off as some kind of racial difference within the species.

I think we all agree John Boyega deserves something good after Rise of Skywalker. But Kelly Marie Tran’s done so much Lego work that i can see Rose returning as well.
If we got Luke as a force ghost mentor and Finn as Rey's first padawan, I'd be so happy. And Poe returning to see his old friends again would be the cherry on top.
Q&A: Did Obi-Wan and Yoda ever find out about the inhibitor chips during their exile, or find out about anything going on with the clones in general? I know they were both in isolation, but with Yoda talking to some Jedi (like Ezra) and Obi-Wan having some interaction (albeit mostly with Jawas), I am curious if they ever found out and what their feelings would be about that and how some of the clones seem to be regretting their actions.
I researched your question, and I found that the only Jedi Master that knew about order 66 & The Clone inhibitor chip is Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas. When he placed the order for the clones for the republic. He gave all the details to the cloners on Kamino the specifications of the clones they wanted. Other than Sifo-Dyas, Obi-Wan Kenobi was the first Jedi master to find out about the Clones since the purchase of them 10 years before. Darth Serious & Darth Plagueis knew about the plan to kill the Jedi. Since Plagueis was a wealthy business partner with a Palpateen , he is the one that financed all the clones. Before the war broke out. Then the republic had to pay for them. Darth Maul didn’t even know about it. If Count Dooku knew about it, it’s not been told or written about yet. I had to sift through information that was Canon. This is the best answer I can give you. I know that count Dooku recruited Jango Fett to be their template. Count Dooku never visited Kamino before the War. Just Bounty Hunters to help train the Clones.
I was re-watching the Kenobi series and the fact that Obi-Wan gave the homeless clone some money tells me that he probably knew enough to know that killing the Jedi wasn’t entirely their choice and that he feels sorry for them even without knowing about the inhibitor chips. I think he knows in his gut that the clones were just as much pawns in Palpatine’s machinations as the Jedi and the Separatists were. Whether that makes him forgive them or not I’m really not sure. Prob not but who knows?

Not sure how anyone feels about the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special, but I love the way they portrayed all of the characters from the newer films. The Lego specials did more for Finn than any of the movies. And since there has to be bad guys, something related to the ancient sith and the Night Sisters would be cool. Q&A: Could The grysk make an appereance in Ahsoka and can we have a surprise to see that actually they are Evereni? I am asking that can the grysk be a group of evereni or could they be asocciated or are the same species with different names (grysk in the unknown regions and evereni in the known galaxy) and if they could appear in Ahsoka.
Interesting question, but, The Grysk don't seem to look a lot like The Evereni. Plus, my suspicion is, by the end of Phase Three of The High Republic, The Evereni, as a race/species, will cease to exists...since We never encounter them in The SWU in the future...unless they're very much hidden from the galaxy-at-large.
I could see this being a bad decision, but I think I would like to see Mark Hamill come back as Luke’s ghost. Seeing Luke play a role in what comes next and it go well this time would be nice to see.
Q&A: Loved your discussion on what characters you'd like to see in the Rey film but my question is, would you like to see Lando and Jannah again post RoS? With the idea/implication she's his daughter, I'd love to see them go on a journey of discovery and allowing them to connect (with them eventually realising their connection as father and daughter).
If the new series takes place 15 years after the sequel, that would make Lando around 81 years old (he was born in 31 BBY; TRoS takes place 35 years ABY. So he's 66 years old in TRoS). If it was a side series that happened right after TRoS, it could work. But I don't think he'll be doing much adventuring in the new movie.

Q&A: So on the subject of animated shows... I think it would be great if there was an animated 10 episode limited series based on Colin Trevorrows Duel of Fates script and concept art and set in the year time frame between The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker... it would probably have to be retooled a little bit for continuity reasons I am sure, but it would be a great way to bridge those movies better and get new Leia content since she was supposed to be a huge presence in Episode 9 originally.... it would also be a great way to set up the new Rey New Jedi order movies... what do you think?
Q&A: Do you think there could be a Sith reveal in the high republic? Obviously the Jedi won’t ever find out, but could they secretly be manipulating The Path of The Open Hand/Nihil via The Mother . Maybe sith manipulation is why the Nihil seem so different from the Path of the open hand?
Springboarding off of your new Jedi order antagonist discussion, I think it'd be pretty cool if they were akin to Legend of Korra's season 1 antagonist, Amon and the equalists Basically, their stance is that the Jedi have power that they, historically, have used irresponsibly, and the people that have suffered are those who can't wield the force

Q&A: Will the Drengir return in Phase 3 of the high republic? It feels a little odd that they were dispatched with so quickly in phase one only to never be mentioned again.
I would love to see Finn as a full on jedi knight, maybe approaching master. It would also be cool if his history as a stormtrooper factored in. Like maybe he has designed a tyle of jedi armor like something I've seen ancient jedi wearing in one of the KOTOR games.
Theoretically every blaster bolt color has a specific purpose and not just to tell good guys from badguys (because that's not really the case for the Original Trilogy), and the Mandalorians were initially given Yellow just to be different, but could it be more powerful towards Beskar? We see that Mandalorians typically shoot for the neck after getting a few body shots to disorient their enemies, but could the Yellow be a specific kind of Beskar penetrating bolt?
Finn and Poe as a friendship was sorely a missed opportunity. Han and Chewbacca were friends, as was Han and Luke, and Obi-Wan and Anakin. These friendships made the audience care..slow closeup on Molly to gage her thoughts. PS..at the end of the Mandelorian, Grugu communicates with the Mythosaur. Maybe the great Mandelor also communicated with Mythosaurs telepathically. He may have told them to go into hiding to keep them from becoming extinct. Similar to the dragons in The Last Avatar animated series.
What timelines book is Alex referring to? I could’ve sworn I read that Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2 is a couple of years, and book of boba fett with grogu’s training is about 2 years.
"we still havent heard about Lando" Kathleen said it was still in the works at celebration this year. She said they are just waiting on Donalds time to free up
And I know many who also say they won't watch unless Adam driver is back so good luck to Lucasfilm. You can't kill the entire family and hope for success
Based on Alex's summary of the story concept (10:43) - what if REY is the one trying to stop the return of the Jedi as a group, trying to support what Luke was saying "it's time for the Jedi to end?" That would definitely through people off the scent. She wouldn't be a VILLAIN, but she could definitely be the antagonist.
About Thrawns "throne room. A thought that i just had is that maybe that could be Palpatines throne room on the Eclipse his personal Super Star Destroyer. We know it was sent to the unknown Regions by Gallius Rax. Since it didn't appear in the sequels and we know that all these imperial remnant factions including what will later become the First Order are in contact with one another and share ressources maybe Thrawn now has command over the Eclipse? The room seems more fit for someone like Palpatine than Thrawn.
- I think another reason people bring up Finn so much for the NJO movie is not just to give the character a chance to explore that potential and for John Boyega to I guess get a shot at playing what he hoped to, but also because this is the perfect movie to do it in. Rey's trying to rebuild the Jedi, right? Of course you want the only other real candidate of who might become a Jedi there with her. - Ben Solo is interesting, because even if it would be cool to see his ghost and I guess how he functions in the Dyad now, it would really all come down to whether Adam Driver is interested. I have a feeling he'll be harder than even Boyega to convince. - Honestly if I just went purely of "this character deserves nice things and the actor deserves a chance at being treated with respect", then yeah bring back Rose. Would make more sense to see where Poe ends up (especially if there's the Finn connection, or he just shows up whenever they need an ace pilot for whatever lol), but I'm a Rose fan and I think she deserves more. Tough I GUESS Jannah might actually make more sense because of similar experiences with Finn, maybe even weirdly hinting at some Force connection there too based on some stuff she said, but IDK. - Honestly? An anti-Force user movement like the Path of the Open Hand would be a cool route to take for a NJO movie villain. Beats just another "oh it's the Sith or some Sith stand in". I mean, if they REALLY wanted to you could have some weird Sith Eternal holdouts trying to find and corrupt anyone to be a Sith, but honestly, let the Sith rest in peace. Give us something new and different. But yeah, as you describe it, a villain that's more Nihilistic even and thinks Force users should just do nothing would be a different, unique approach that's more interesting than just "unlimited power" again. - Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if Thrawn shows up with TIE Defenders. If he's calling the shots, nobody can tell him to wait for the big death ball to be finished first. - Definitely know that live-action is prioritised more because it's more marketable to the casual audience, but that doesn't make me any less salty about it. I wish creators would tell the stories they want HOW they want instead of just needing to tick boxes to sell to an audience. Obviously you want to please people, but I'd rather just look at whatever ways we can to try and break down the stigma that animation regrettably STILL has. - Yeah I do find it funny how the timelines book has the Mandoverse all in 9 ABY so far even though we had that "controversy" at the start of the season about it being potentially as much as two years passing. I do actually find the idea of time being diegetic for a Star Wars series or project to be kind of interesting (ironically the closest we'd have to that is whenever one of the main Saga movies has a three year gap between them lol, but like even that's inconsistent), but if that was always the intent I think it should've been made far more clear. Also, with the dino birds, as IG-11 said, "species age differently". Some IRL species reach maturity in like a year and grow rapidly to get there (as in, it's not just like small creatures), it's not as far fetched as it might seem.
Just a note, the Timelines book only has things up to a certain point. No Mando S3, no Andor. So we dont have confirmation on when S3 happens relative to S2.
My brain spiraled into possibilities when you were discussing the new antagonists for the sequel movie! I'd love to see them pull from legends either the Yuuzhan Vong (the original antagonists for the era) or Rakatans (out of timeline in legends, but they could return for a second invasion). There's also the possibility of the Zeffonians coming back either as purists or corrupted by the dark side of the force. As long as it's not more sith, I'd be happy! They make great villains, but going to either side of the timeline has me excited for new possibilities.
Next week, I totally expect much more questions on Jedi Survivor so totally looking forward to fans asking questions as I'm still enjoying the game myself
1 animated show, 2 live action shows, and 1 movie per year would be the sweet spot for Star Wars on screen, imo. 3 novels, 1 audiobook, and 4 comic book lines would be good to me on the publishing side.
NO question about it, Oscar Isaac and Kelly Marie Tran would be good to return, BUT ONLY IF THEY GET A DECENT STORY AND DECENT DIRECTION! The rest can all go take a running jump, you can't get the original band back together now that Carrie is gone.
for the record, those were entirely different birds that were cooking on the stick. The bodies were not the same shape at all. they definitely were not eating the baby birds. Unless they transferred them onto one of the gauntlets, they could have died if they were left in the storage on the ship that Axe crashed into the Imperial base. I'm pretty sure they evacuated everyone, including those birds before hand though. This is the way
A big enthusiastic Yes to Finn coming back. The point you never mention specifically is that SW Dropped The Ball as far as Finn was concerned. Poe deserves another shot as well. But to me, Finn - Poe "shipping" seems like a bridge too far. Haven't you ever seen two guys In Real Life who were Best Buds, who liked each other that much, as depicted by Poe and Finn on screen? -- without it being a whole other Thing? I have, with two guys I know in New Orleans, really close, and straight, best friends. It does happen. Guys don't have to be gays. That kind of thing, platonic Love between best friends, could continue to happen with Those two buddies, Poe and Finn. I also vote for Rose and Kelly Marie Tran coming back.
Question; do you ever think about what all of these characters are doing or where they are during the sequel trilogy? Biggest current example for me is what were the Mandalorians doing during the sequels. are they alive? did they swear off helping everyone else? at some point they will have to address this will all of these characters, right?
Im with you guys on moving away from the oversimplified binari of jedi v sith. Maybe a villain more like a dark Luthen Rael. Someone who sees the end justifying the means but our heroes face against them for some reason. Say the villain is threatening someone's family to ensure they dont go back to the empire and our heroes are only told half of the story pitting them against eachother despite shared interest
Idea for a villain character in the sequel movie.. a Darth Traya esque villain, who wants to get rid of the force entirely would be super cool and unique. I don't think she is canon at this point, so breaking her from the time line of kotor and putting her here would work and make sense.
Q&A: well LEGO summer vacation just drop that Poe, rose, Rey and Finn were going their separate ways will lucasfilm took inspiration from LEGO Star Wars special?
I know it will never happen…. But I’d still like to fantasize about it: what if; the Jedi order is much further into the future. And they are more like wandering samurai’s. Rare, but when one shows up and is provoked… it’s a sight to behold. . . Here is the prt that might Meh a lot away… but the guardian’s of peace and justice as was the old Jedi Order is not the Jedi… but The Manadalorians . Led by a very unique Mandalorian that is a bit shorter than the others, but is a force of wisdom and strength
I actually did wonder about Grogu in the future all grown up and these ideas involve either foce-sensitive, lightsaber wielding Mandalorians called 'Mandalorian Knights' or an off-shoot of them that are force sensitive, lightsaber wielding protectors of Nevarro callled 'Nevarro Knights'.
Q&A: Much ado is made about that businesses on Cato Numoidia, but what were the other 9 times Anakin saved Obi-Wan? Can we find 9 good examples from the Clone Wars or comics or anything?
Maybe they just didn't care about it. Also is it stated anywhere whether the Rebels/New Republic kept a presence in the Endor system or if they just checked to make sure that the Death Star's remains would screw over the Ewoks and left them to their own devices.
Q&A: Spoiler for Jedi Survivor but, Do you think the 2 force users in Ahsoka were Jedi that was sent to the republic information like Bode Akuna and went through the same stuff he went through?
I took that special looking room to be reserved for Pathfinders or some special navigational room. We'll more likely see Claw Craft over Tie Defenders in Ahsoka.
I wish they would add more depth to the characters I felt like there wasn't any way to relate to the characters, if they can start small and add internal conflict then this could actually work really well, I really liked dark side Rey and I'm disappointed that it was quickly brushed over. I really hope they learn from their past mistakes as this helps not just the character but helps us as the audience relates to the characters better. I also hope Finn would come back! We definitely new villains, and new characters.

I would love to see Finn as a full on jedi knight, maybe approaching master. It would also be cool if his history as a stormtrooper factored in. Like maybe he has designed a tyle of jedi armor like something I've seen ancient jedi wearing in one of the KOTOR games.
Finn is gonna have only one line if he returns, *"REEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYY!!!"*
Theoretically every blaster bolt color has a specific purpose and not just to tell good guys from badguys (because that's not really the case for the Original Trilogy), and the Mandalorians were initially given Yellow just to be different, but could it be more powerful towards Beskar? We see that Mandalorians typically shoot for the neck after getting a few body shots to disorient their enemies, but could the Yellow be a specific kind of Beskar penetrating bolt?
need to bring back Zorii Bliss
You will never see Oscar Isaac or John Boyega again. They have a level of self respect after what happened to their characters
I’m hoping for heavy inspiration from KOTOR 2 for the Rey movie/movies
Don't you mean KOTOR 2 ?, i doubt Disney has balls to pull a story like that one
@@splashnskillz37 lol. Yes I do mean KOTOR 2. Didn’t even see that.
"we still havent heard about Lando"
Kathleen said it was still in the works at celebration this year. She said they are just waiting on Donalds time to free up
LOL! Mollie's Thor insert is perfect. LOL!
And I know many who also say they won't watch unless Adam driver is back so good luck to Lucasfilm. You can't kill the entire family and hope for success
"Nobody has a blaster to your head." Lol
Based on Alex's summary of the story concept (10:43) - what if REY is the one trying to stop the return of the Jedi as a group, trying to support what Luke was saying "it's time for the Jedi to end?"
That would definitely through people off the scent. She wouldn't be a VILLAIN, but she could definitely be the antagonist.
They should have some of the remaining first order and the Knights of Ren.
Honestly that was a great segue for the sponsor
Bring back Palpatine again, and get JJ to direct!!
😂
i would bring palpatine once again just for the funsies
Just a note, the Timelines book only has things up to a certain point. No Mando S3, no Andor.
So we dont have confirmation on when S3 happens relative to S2.
Not watching unless Ben solo is back and he's somehow stuck somewhere or comes back due to dyad
I've not any High Republic stuff yet and was wondering where Vernestra Rwoh actually makes an appearance?
My brain spiraled into possibilities when you were discussing the new antagonists for the sequel movie! I'd love to see them pull from legends either the Yuuzhan Vong (the original antagonists for the era) or Rakatans (out of timeline in legends, but they could return for a second invasion). There's also the possibility of the Zeffonians coming back either as purists or corrupted by the dark side of the force. As long as it's not more sith, I'd be happy! They make great villains, but going to either side of the timeline has me excited for new possibilities.
Not Poe. Not every character needs to be a Jedi.
Tuned right out when you guys wanted Geode… a flipping rock.
“I’ll save that for therapy”
“THIS VIDEO IS SPONSORED BY BETTERHELP”
Best as transition
NO question about it, Oscar Isaac and Kelly Marie Tran would be good to return, BUT ONLY IF THEY GET A DECENT STORY AND DECENT DIRECTION! The rest can all go take a running jump, you can't get the original band back together now that Carrie is gone.
Disnt thrawn have a sort of trophy throan room in heir to the empire?
Q/A: Do you think we'll see a series about Kelleran Beq and Grogu, or should we wait and see if Mando season 4 addresses what happens to Beg?
for the record, those were entirely different birds that were cooking on the stick.
I just hope this Jedi order doesn’t repeat the same mistakes the previous orders made.
4:37 too many people care who’s kissing who.
The birds could be left on Plazir-15 as part of a small security force. Yes, Ragnar is training to be one of the riders. In my brain anyway.
I want poe as a politician, I would be very glad to see him as the chancelor
Finn/Poe shipper!
Thrawn was always in his little room off of the bridge studying art and Pelleon was on the bridge running the logistics
Q&A: Much ado is made about that businesses on Cato Numoidia, but what were the other 9 times Anakin saved Obi-Wan? Can we find 9 good examples from the Clone Wars or comics or anything?
Anyone but Palpatine
Nothing against Rey but I’d like to see Fin as the main character.
How come the Death Star ruins stayed under the radar of the New Republic ?
Maybe they just didn't care about it.
Also is it stated anywhere whether the Rebels/New Republic kept a presence in the Endor system or if they just checked to make sure that the Death Star's remains would screw over the Ewoks and left them to their own devices.
The empire was so scarce at that point that i think they just thought it wasn't worth it to try and build it for a 3rd time
Q&A question what would happen to the empire if palpatine dies before return of the jedi, would the empire have gone to Darth Vader?
TROS gave barely any hints that Finn is force sensitive. JJ wouldn’t even let him finish a sentence. 🤦🏽♂️
What? Are we forgetting Finn feeling Rey dying?
The entire sequel trilogy was brushed over. Completely forgettable...
