I don't remember who said it but someone said that Huyang could have been the prime Jedi's companion. I like that idea and the idea of _The Crucible_ being their ship.

I only played a few levels of Fallen Order before I lost interest but I remember spending a lot of time hacking through random wild animals for no good reason.
Q/A How do you feel about the Galactic Starcruiser closing?
I think a Sith Game would be super interesting as a kind of political thriller. Set it during the era of the High Republic and have your character be one of the sith in the "rule of 2" scenario where they can't reveal themselves to the galaxy yet. So they have to manipulate events in secret instead of directly (like in Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor) to try and bring more darkness to the galaxy. I think that way we can avoid the "power fantasy" problem you were discussing while also having a fun and engaging story where you ARE the bad guy. Cause playing as the Sith could be fun without necessarily needing to slaughter everyone with dark side abilities (though I would like to see at least a couple fights as a dark side user cause how would that not be fun).
Essentially, the Plagueis novel as a game
Another way to do it is to make the game about Darth Bane destroying the Sith. That way you aren’t slaughtering innocents, but other Sith that are arguably worse than Bane

I think the Ninth Jedi could pretty easily be folded into canon. I’d place it somewhere during the Republic Dark Age in the years prior to the rise of Bane. A lot of elements fit quite naturally here: Juro ruling over the planet like the baronial Jedi Lords from that period (Hoth, Faralla, etc.), the loss of technology, and Sith acolytes (note, they were called acolytes of the Sith, not Sith Lords - to me they were just the lackey’s). Lastly, the loss of lightsaber technology could be the Sith empire outlawing it except for the few Sith Lords at the top. Just my thoughts.
If Huyang really will appear I want them to follow through with that Doctor Who in-joke from the books, that he was involved with a blue box.
Well there are obscure comics that randomly include Doctor Who, Star Wars and Marvel characters as easter eggs, and the Doctor Who universe is a listed reality in Marvel comics/on its Wiki so technically they could all share the same universe (and Disney has some form of access to all 3 franchises now).

Droids in 25,000 BBY isn't weird. The Star Wars Galaxy was at a Technological Peak in 30,000 BBY under the Rakatan Empire. The Rakata genetically engineered most humanoid species so their slaves so they could cross-breed; Dathomirians are a Human-Zabrak hybrid. Archeologists finding ancient Rakata tech is how the Sith create their Superweapons.

Q&A: I have seen your video on Bleeding Kyber Crystals, I was wondering about Purple Color Kyber Crystals since there wasn't much Jedi weilding Purple Lightsabers shown in Canon since we know Mace Windu has the rare ones and Cal has the optional Kyber Crystal choices. Do you think it's possible Purple Kyber Crystals were pretty rare to get in Canon Timeline or do you think Mace Windu had bleed his Kyber Crystal to Purple when he was young Padawan back then? I know that we did heard that Purple be in the middle controls both Light and Darkside and we know that 2 Legends characters we heard had them being bad at first but turned good guys later on.
Colours aside from white and red have been said to have no meaning in canon by the storygroup, and this is intentional. Namely because as Pablo Hidalgo put it, it would be stupid to create a new character but you can't give them the coloured blade of your choice due to some arbitrary property assigned to a colour.
Well I'm just questioning how Huyang survived first and foremost.
So many possibilities arise from it.
What if the trailer shot is a flashback? Maybe we assumed wrongly that he survived the purge.
Or did Huyang survive by designing the Inquisition's sabers - which perhaps had a set of intentional exploits baked in by a resisting Huyang.
The darker thought is Huyang got turned or reprogrammed. Not sure they'd go that route tho.
Option two is genuinely awesome and I’d love that to be true

If you want to play as a super evil sith and dominate everyone and do some force chokes... Star Wars The Old Republic exists and just received a major content update. They let you go full unredeemable darkside with torturing your slave or be a sith pretending to be a Jedi to sabotage the Republic. If that's your thing, you can be as morally repulsive as you want in that game with it all fully voiced.
Also Star Wars the force unleashed one and two anyone?
Personally, i think you could do a really cool sith game in the style of like read dead redemption 2 or assassins creed black flag. Have their lust for the dark side just absolutely distroy everything they cared about at the start. You can even have it be open ended like RDR2 and have a redemption ending or a bad ending where your character chooses the dark side over everything else.
With all the characters dying lately, a bad feeling tells me, that Huyang may be the next to go out. And that wouldn't require either Ahsoka, Ezra, Thrawn, Sabine or Hera to die and he still is an important character, it also would give the series an emotional core.
Nobody really dies in star wars....if they are a popular enough character.

I would love to play a game like Tyranny but in the star wars universe. Being an enforcer for a powerful sith, keeping control of other sith, and dealing out "justice" then trying to take over their master's role.

First of all, I love the idea of Huyang appearing in the Dawn of the Jedi movie, though I would expect that he would look different as it makes little sense that anything not made out of plastic would be able to survive such a long time. He would more likely be a different type of droid with the same name and voice actor. Secondly, I am fairly certain that Kellran Beck is dead. I'm sure we'll see more of him in Mando season 4, I actually wouldn't be surprised if we got a whole episode that was just a flash back, but I think that the people who had Grougo in season 1 killed Beck.
Honestly I was surprised we didn't have more than one Rayvis boss fight, his species was a perfect setup to be a recurring boss. At least we got an extra health bar though.
We still need to find out why 28 years after Kelleran Beq saved Grogu their was a gang of bandits/mercenaries/pirates willing to die to the last sophont just to keep bounty hunters from either killing or kidnapping Grogu.

I feel like shying away a sith focused game because you’d be bad is huge wasted potential.
TOR’s sith warrior storyline is a perfect example of the top notch stuff you can do with a sith character “lightside” (you arent actually lightside) sith is one of the best written anti villain character we’ve probably seen in the franchise.
Its sastifying to play as a bad guy who isnt a puppy killing moron.
A Darth Bane game could be a good solution as Bane destroyed the Sith so most of your enemies would be Sith so you’re not slaughtering innocents. Kinda like the first three God of War games. Kratos isn’t a good guy, but the gods are so awful you don’t care how violently he kills them. Make the Sith of Bane’s day so bad that you don’t feel bad seeing Bane slaughter them

you of course fought jedi but you could also find peaceful solutions the odd times. Not for good but for ease of getting your task done.

Dawn of the Jedi Theories
I think the first Jedi and Huyang traveled to Ach-To to study the Force and create the Jedi Order with the guidance of the Mortis Gods. The Mortis Gods even gave the Tho Yor ships to assist in the recruitment of more Jedi. As the Jedi Order gained more members, they traveled and used the Tho Yor Ships to recruit new Jedi and take the current Jedi to Tython. However, the Jedi work to fight the Rakatan Empire and Abeloth. Over time, the first Jedi leaves the Jedi Order and travels to the Well-Spring of Life where the first Jedi became the Force Priestesses. It will be awesome if the first Jedi became the Force Priestesses and her decision helped save the Jedi Order in the long run by teaching Qui-Gon and later Yoda how to become a Force Ghost. Learning how to become a Force Ghost allowed Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin, Luke, and Leia to help and mentor future generations of Jedi from beyond the grave.

A Sith oriented game could be good. Show how easy it is to fall, show all the fear, pain, suffering and sacrifice it takes to go down that path.
Showing that there is no joy in it, only brief adrenaline rushes from the power, but immediately showing the cost and the misery and anger that dominate the lives of those who choose darkness.
Interspersed encounters with a Jedi you once considered a friend and how differently your lives turned out.
Have it end with you being struck down by your friend, betrayed by your apprentice or simply alone and broken, like the Sith in the cave in Screechers Reach. Shape things so that you even if you want to turn back to the light or move towards balance, you can't. Make it frustrating and heartbreaking but give it one way to redeem yourself, but you basically have to give up everything you've gained in the game to try and achieve it.
I honestly think an inquisitor game could be neat because it would allow the player to use the dark side but there's a lot of story and character potential for exploring why the light side is the right way considering that the inquisitors were once jedi and I would imagine there were at least a couple that weren't fully on board with the dark side and just switched in order to survive the purge.
It does seem like nearly all of them either begrudgingly joined or risked being killed. 5th Brother is seemingly the only one who's openly confirmed that he loved embracing the dark side.
I like the idea of switching up the cast of Young Jedi Adventures every few years. They are using kids to voice these characters, so instead of possibly replacing the kids, they can just create more new characters to follow, maybe on a different planet, too. However, at the same time, if you have a thing that works, stick with it, and the kids that do watch it are probably going to want to follow the same cast of characters. I also doubt it will become a serialized show, but I await the eventual callbacks and maybe even progressing the show in a way that they have some big bombastic finale planned when it originally started out as episodic. Have some Season Premiere and Finale showstopper type episodes that call upon past stories, but the rest of the show be kind of episodic. I loved the crossover with Galaxy of Creatures, so I'm hoping they do a few more episodes like that, too. It's obviously on its own, doing its own thing, but little connective tissue moments to other media in Star Wars as well as maybe even giving the show a bit of an overarching narrative, even if it's only hit upon in a handful of episodes across the Series' run would be neat. And of course, seeing the characters grown up would also be fun. Even just a name drop in some other thing would be neat.

Am I alone in thinking Keleran Beck (sp?) ends up taking Grogu to Naboo? Perhaps a Queen Jamila and Jar Jar appearance? That'd be something to see....Beck interacting with Jar Jar....
After all, he and Grogu escaped in a Nubian Class starship and Naboo royalty seems to love 'en some Nubian ships!

I think if Young Jedi Adventures ever matures, it would be along the lines of what happened with The Lion Guard, where it more or less ages up from a young children's series to more of a general children's series - with plots being *technically* weightier, but in the sense that maybe bad guys actually are a little scarier now and the heroes occasionally have the odd sad decision, while everything is still light and silly and lacking in seriousness.
My question is why did the sabine wait five years to look for ezra? Also why did the rest of the rebels not look for him right after he disappeared with Thrawn?
I think it would make sense for there to be another animated show that spins off the young Jedi adventures. Something for kids to watch as they grow up.
In talking with my ten year old nephew, he isn't really into the animated shows because of the idea that it is for little kids. Maybe something to transition would be a good idea.

I'm not sure why I've never considered this before, but now that Disney has ownership, do they have the rights to change the originals/prequels like Lucas did and make their own special editions? Could they, with all the resources at their disposal, restore the un-special versions? Or is there some legal clause in the ownership transfer that precludes that?
What about the Kotor games? Those allowed a Sith side take with consequences .

I understand trying not to glorify the sith because they are the bad guys and do bad things but there should be a mix in all Star Wars media of all different factions. It just fleshes out the universe and canon.

I want a game with no force users whatsoever. I want to be a regular person doing missions or jobs, earning money to buy and upgrade my ship etc. Like Elite: Dangerous or the mythical Space Citizen but with storylines and in Star Wars. It’s rumored that the Filoni film will be an adaptation of the “Heir to the Empire” novel. If this is what they do, do you think Luke will be the main character? Or do you think they will swap him out for Ahsoka or Ezra? If they swap him out, why is he not involved in this conflict? What is he doing that is more important?
Canon Luke seems to have rejected using the Force for violence and is more of a monk type role. There’s a reason they made the Dark Troopers droids and not people.
Also, I don’t they the deep fake they’re using is up to carrying an entire movie with Like as the lead. If Luke is there, where is Han, Leia, and Lando?

If we don't want to glorify the Dark Side, then should the Acolyte be canceled? If the main character is going to be a Sith, and they would want us to identify with a cheer for the main character wouldn't that be glorifying the Dark Side.
Plus, if a Dark side game is a bad idea, shouldn't we stop people from cosplaying at official Star Wars events as bad characters. We wouldn't want children seeing them and tainting them with the idea that being bad is cool.
