Let's be honest: Man City players are exhausted, physically and mentally exhausted, largely by the demands of Pep. Ederson looks exhausted from his robotic play. Silva looks like he needs 3 games on the bench. As great as Pep is he's overstayed his welcome. Not in terms of results but in terms of his demands. Jack Grealish looks heavy and burdened. They look like Liverpool from two years ago. You can't run and press forever. As much as the players loved Klopp they too needed a change of approach. Chelsea is doing well because of they have young players who can run. My team Arsenal looks exhausted. The demands of the modern game cannot be erased with tactical nous.
I think the days of high pressing are slowly dying with the amount of games in today's calendar. I foresee futbol going back to low blocks and the reintroduction of the 10.

If we're being fair then you'd have to admit that Dalot was poor, as was Bruno outside of the penalty. Mainoo struggled a bit, too.
Dalot in particular needs dropping for a while. He's had numerous rough performances in a row.
The workhorses - Ugarte, Martinez, Maguire, Hojlund, Mazraoui - all did well because they generally do physically. Amad provided the spark needed. It wasn't coming from anywhere else.

You lot are sitting mid table ..so how good have they really been ? Liverpool were in a similar position and brought in Van Dyjk and Allison and immediately started challenging for the title you've named 4 players that's nearly half your outfield players and still struggling to be in the top half lmao how the mighty have fallen let's be real you've beat a City team that's in complete disarray and who everyone is beating at the minute.. let's not act like this 1 result means United has turned a corner .. let's see you go on 10/15 game unbeaten run where you don't concede many and try and get top 4 before claiming signings have been "amazing"

@ mazroui has been insane this season, Ugarte has put in top performances each game, we’ve obviously got a new manager and it’s going to take time before we can play his style but we are starting to be more fluid with our passing, you can make the argument that slot managed your team to be great straight away, but your team already had great coaching
