It cannot be downplayed how well United defended today, just as they did against Arsenal. They’re only allowing set piece goals to these tough opponents. Once they start scoring goals, they’ll be a problem. Mark my words.
Foden has been awful this season, but, shock of all shocks, the British pundits haven't mentioned it once. 0 goals. Yet last season they wanked over him so much he won POTY, while Rodri wasn't even nominated.
As a villa fan i was buzzing for united today, you lot needed this lift just keep it going, amorim isnt scared to make changes and i think the transfer window in january could be an opportunity for you to turn things around if you pick the right players, you need players like amad who wanna play for the club and care about their performances every week
Apparently the greatest team we’ve ever seen, managed by the greatest coach we’ve ever seen, are rendered relegation fodder if you take away just one player.
They collectively made the mountain easy numerous times, came down and went again and again, it's only a matter of time, that collective disconnects and the rythmn is lost, seems Rodri was the first domino to cause this snowball
I know it cannot be true but then my eyes can't unsee what I'm seeing??? 😂😂 I think its the first "crisis" which Pep and City are having to deal with in a long time so everyone is just shell-shocked and in disbelief... the facial expressions are priceless 😅 Utd have had a crisis literally every few weeks for the past decade so we've become a bit numb to it 😅
Ugarte and mazroui have been excellent signings. Joining us from bundesliga and league1, they seem to have adapted to the premier league pretty well. Props to both of them. GGMU!
Very solid and creative in the back. McGuire leading the group, Martinez with his amazing vision, Ugarte giving confidence to everyone, Mazraoui showing character and desire.
During the commentary Gary was trying to hard to please non United watching while he gave little credit to the defence and CDM Ugarte who stopped City from creating little or nothing from play and thats unthinkable for City at home regardless of form.
Negativity dripping off of Neville. This was a very solid performance against the Champions. We completely shut down the City attack and their goal was a fluke deflected cross. The entire team was discplined, focused and patient. Neville says with 5 mins to go there was no way he thought they would win????? Remember Fergie time Gary ? Remember fighting to the end ? Just shut up and get positive
Negative Nelly Neville. United had a really strong game. They controlled the game, limited City to almost nothing from open play and in the end, risked it, should’ve had a penalty, Bruno missing a sitter before deservedly winning the game.
Let's be honest: Man City players are exhausted, physically and mentally exhausted, largely by the demands of Pep. Ederson looks exhausted from his robotic play. Silva looks like he needs 3 games on the bench. As great as Pep is he's overstayed his welcome. Not in terms of results but in terms of his demands. Jack Grealish looks heavy and burdened. They look like Liverpool from two years ago. You can't run and press forever. As much as the players loved Klopp they too needed a change of approach. Chelsea is doing well because of they have young players who can run. My team Arsenal looks exhausted. The demands of the modern game cannot be erased with tactical nous. I think the days of high pressing are slowly dying with the amount of games in today's calendar. I foresee futbol going back to low blocks and the reintroduction of the 10.
Gary Neville with that glazed emotion in his eyes talks with so much passion , he was one of those players who you could never accuse of not trying 100% with less talent than others. Absolutely buzzing for the win, these scrappy games that end up with 3 points are the best ones. Tough run coming up, lets hope for more nights like this.

Ironically Diallo was injured for the first half of the season after his season back from loan. So pundits saying it's the Amorim effect are very forgetful
Last year with EtH it was "Yeah, we know they have injuries, BUT..." and then on to levels of expectation and degrees of acceptability and how long before he IS sacked. City won't sack Pep because he IS bigger than the club, and 70% of their "Fans" would vanish and either follow him to wherever he goes, or find someone else to goo over.
I feel like United aren’t getting enough credit from todays win, to come here where city have lost 1 game in 55 matches and United matched them in every single aspect, shots, possession, better xg and they conceded a very lucky goal from that big deflection from de bruyners cross. Well done Amorim hopefully this is the start of something new for United.

@ mazroui has been insane this season, Ugarte has put in top performances each game, we’ve obviously got a new manager and it’s going to take time before we can play his style but we are starting to be more fluid with our passing, you can make the argument that slot managed your team to be great straight away, but your team already had great coaching

It cannot be downplayed how well United defended today, just as they did against Arsenal. They’re only allowing set piece goals to these tough opponents. Once they start scoring goals, they’ll be a problem. Mark my words.
Shocking game . Hard to believe that city have forgotten how to play.
De Bruyne is finished, simple as that and there's no one to replace him
not the first time this happening. chlesea before them and you put liverpool in aswell complete collapse within a year.
Can't win everything forever.
Rodri their engine is missing. In addition, this generation has nothing left to prove.
Why the hell would a villa fan support utd??
We will! (Just kidding)

@@andy56018 He doesn't you plastic muppet.
Because it only needs 1 player to not run and that was Rashford, 10 outfield players that commit for the jersey makes a massive difference..
Amad Diallo- is a Diamond in the rough... Literally
Rough?
I think you mean ‘metaphorically’.
He’s not literally a crystal of super condensed carbon
Apparently the greatest team we’ve ever seen, managed by the greatest coach we’ve ever seen, are rendered relegation fodder if you take away just one player.
They collectively made the mountain easy numerous times, came down and went again and again, it's only a matter of time, that collective disconnects and the rythmn is lost, seems Rodri was the first domino to cause this snowball
I know it cannot be true but then my eyes can't unsee what I'm seeing??? 😂😂
I think its the first "crisis" which Pep and City are having to deal with in a long time so everyone is just shell-shocked and in disbelief... the facial expressions are priceless 😅

Glitch in the Matrix on the screen behind Gary
Wonder of Gary punched the screen on frustration lol
Very solid and creative in the back. McGuire leading the group, Martinez with his amazing vision, Ugarte giving confidence to everyone, Mazraoui showing character and desire.
Amad is 100% committed to what he's doing on the pitch. Rooney's mentality
Rashford on the other hand, it's more like Dele Ali's mentality

More like Jesse Lingard mentality.

Haha first time Gary has had a smile on his face doing this podcast in some while
During the commentary Gary was trying to hard to please non United watching while he gave little credit to the defence and CDM Ugarte who stopped City from creating little or nothing from play and thats unthinkable for City at home regardless of form.
He knows it’s not the dominant city of old. Let’s not pretend a top city team don’t destroy that defence
@@RushtyShpoon It's still a City side that had only lost once at home in the Premier league this season.
About time man utd fans saw him for what he is now and not the player he was. Gary neville = depression
He's actually being realistic, he said some players are struggling with Amorim system because they are not good enough. He's absolutely spot on
Negative Nelly Neville. United had a really strong game. They controlled the game, limited City to almost nothing from open play and in the end, risked it, should’ve had a penalty, Bruno missing a sitter before deservedly winning the game.
Man city without rodri..
@@Diego-y9qhe's right about the club as a whole.
Neville is a plonker
Grealish bust.
Honestly.. they have chucked the towel in, maybe the forthcoming decision from the IP on their historical cheating has got to them. They know.
The Peter Drury on Amad goal + That Gary Neville “OOOOOOHHHHHH WOAHHHHHHHHH” has got to be one for the history books 😭🤣

If we're being fair then you'd have to admit that Dalot was poor, as was Bruno outside of the penalty. Mainoo struggled a bit, too.
Dalot in particular needs dropping for a while. He's had numerous rough performances in a row.
The workhorses - Ugarte, Martinez, Maguire, Hojlund, Mazraoui - all did well because they generally do physically. Amad provided the spark needed. It wasn't coming from anywhere else.

@ mazroui has been insane this season, Ugarte has put in top performances each game, we’ve obviously got a new manager and it’s going to take time before we can play his style but we are starting to be more fluid with our passing, you can make the argument that slot managed your team to be great straight away, but your team already had great coaching
