Kristian, this video has been beautifully made. Thank you so much for your top notch content. As a Volvo fan, much appreciated!! The EX30 looks great!!!
The thing with ordering your EX30 or EX90 is. What happens is when you order one. You have to wait a couple of months. First the demo cars will arrive and there you can privately try it out if you like it keep your order if you don't. Well you can cancel that order or give your ticket to another costumer. 🙂 Respeckly
I’ve decided to trade in my adorable Mini EV for an EX30. More range, 4 doors, bigger boot space- at the same price point (almost)! This will be faster than my husband’s Porsche 911 ;) so maybe he’ll want to drive my car sometimes. I’m just upset that I have to wait so long for it.
Ordered the twin motor version within hours of the announcement. Really hope the handling matches the power on that, I think lowering it would turn it into a go-kart. There are definitely thinghs to hate though. No gauge cluster behind the wheel being my main issue, I use that way more than the big screen when navigating with my Polestar
@@Norwegianization I figured it was an acceptable risk and the only way to get the car ASAP. I've got experience with the brand so I got some faith and often times the anoying aspects of a car get overlooked at a test drive anyway. I'll try the car once demo models get delivered to dealerships and if it is really bad I can always opt out again
Yeah hopefully. Not sure if I should write on English or Norwegian, but.. The current EX30 numbers are just preliminary, so will maybe change closer to production and final verifications.
@@volvo_kristian Volvo’s website mention 245/45R19 102V XL GoodYear for the Plus trim (my order mentions all season tyres) , whilst the Ultra is 245/40R20 99V XL summer tyres
I really like it except for the lack of an instrument cluster and the rear seats look just a bit uncomfortable. The XC40s rear seating was already almost too small and this car definitely looks so.
Volvo and Polestar.... NACS.... Please.... Get it done now before shipping EX90, EX30, Polestar 3&4. Less complicated than adapters and retrofitting... Thanks Kristian! Stay safe, Tim
Will the performance have sportier looking alloys? In the reveal they seemed to have different more open rims. Also how is the light blue colour up close?
I don't like this Teslafication of Volvo design. Ugh. Give me a proper driver display or HUD. Also not a fan of the disjointed tail light design - not here and not in the EX90 (I love my C40 taillights). Looking forward to the EX40 or EX60 though.
Volvo does not change a thing. It is still a too expensive way to go from A to B and Volvo does not provide the posibilty tu use the huge power storage for your comfort and to help others in need for elektric power. It has no V to L as do other and cheaper Chinees competitors who have more value for money. And it is not made in Belgium, it is a Chinees car for a Volvo price. But it can and may tow, which can not be said from close competitors.
Do you think it's tiny interior space? And did you expect more? It's a little car so obviously also limited interior space. It's equivalent to many of It's competitors. Have you experienced the EX30 live? The only thing that "tiny" or limited are rear seats leg room for tall passengers. And pretending to be a SUV? Well the EX30 has significantly higher ground clearance than a Mercedes EQC, so what more do you want? AWD, it has it 👍 Make your own review if your not happy with my personal take 🤣 This is what I love..
@@DoKaTS Have you experienced the EX30 live? Wouldn't agree that it feels smaller than that Puma thing.. But maybe I'm mistaken. It's been several years since I've driven the Puma, Fiesta and Focus..
@volvo_kristian of course i would expect more, the elecrric plataforms offer more interior space in smaller cars, its even more strange that the same plataform of this car is the same as the smart #1, a car that as the size of a Nissan Juke but the interior space of a big Mercedes. I really wanted this car, is the most interesting launch of this year, but has a father is a big frustation to realize that this car was made for young singles or couples without children. Its ok, Just dont call it a famíly SUV.
@@filipefreitas8007but why it can’t be a familly car ? I don’t understand , I got a bolt euv as a familly car and it’s a good size for the familly. Child are small , why you need so much space 😂
A great car that will be a massive success for Volvo. Want one.
Absolutely 💯
Was one of the first-in-line. Absolutely the right car for us. . .been waiting. . .🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Thanks so much 🙌
Hopefully the amber taillights make it to America unlike those on other Volvos.
Tror dette blir en suksess i Norge. Spesielt med tanke på at en så kompakt bil tilbyr firehjulstrekk. Bra video!
Takker 🙌 Ja med AWD er den virkelig attraktiv
Thanks Kristian ... another one for your collection 😁

wow a true risk taker. order a car without seeing or trying it.

Yeah, I'm really curious on how the driving experience will be.. Crossing my fingers for a performance + version 😂
In the US, when you make a reservation you do not select anything. You will get an email in the future with a link to spec out your vehicle.
Looking very good . Will this have lower consumption (forbruk) than my xc40 😀

Do you know what tires it comes from factory?
Not haven't seen any details about the tires yet.

Do you think those rear indicator lights are bright enough?
Yeah, but that's just based out of previous experience with Volvo's indicators. Hard to tell exactly here in this overly bright studio
Thats true, its very bright under those lights!

Yeah, agree with you 🙌
I love small cars. 99.99% of cars are larger. You have your pick. There’s extremely few small cars. So I get to pick among just an extremely few cars.

100% need adopt NACS port
'Twin performance'...?
Yeah, the AWD version 👍

PS must be boiling in that jacket 😂
@Doug Oram Yes 😅 Was quite hot, but wanted to wear it in one of the videos 😅 Was hotter in the beginning of our time slot
This is the Twin Performance. The alloys from the White #EX30 are supposedly alloys that's coming for the MY25 production 👍
Forgot last question. The Cloud Blue are nice up close, but slightly to light/discreet for me 😂
@@volvo_kristian thanks I thought the light blue looked a bit too light, may as well go with white but the yellow is tempting 😜
Did he say 428 HP???
Correct 👌 428 in the Performance version
How much will this model as shown in your video cost in the US? That isn't 36k is it???

Yeah, would love a HUD option. Enjoyed the rear lights here in EX30 more than in 90, but totally see your point.

Car fetishism lives!
A review without mentioned the tiny interior space, humm , a mini segment B pretending to be a SUV, rear back seats are a joke.
