I got my yellow EX30 Twin Motor on Dec 31st, and I love it. I am in Montreal, QC, Canada, its very cold these day and the EX30 is doing very well under these extreme temperature. I'm no expert in electric car, its my first one, for the few kms I drove it so far, it has a 28 kwh per 100 km average consumption, which I heard is not very good, but I am sure it will do better when conditions improves. My last car was a Volvo C30, I was loving it too, but this EX30 is something else, so fun to drive and so fast. I can't wait to clutch the Mustangs and other american "muscle" cars that run in our steets with my Easter egg. I also agree with you Kristian that the red color would be so nice, but the yellow one is something that lets no one indifferent. Great videos. Thank you!
Great news, thanks Kristian. Looking forward to your clip from the tests in Sweden. May a good opportunity for Volvo to tease some long rumored Volvo EV60 Cross Country as well…
@@volvo_kristian I hope it will be available here in The Netherlands, the V60 & V90 Cross Country were discontinued shortly after the last facelift of the V60.
@symen4030 Yeah, we also lost the CC version, but that was because they wasn't available as a Plug-In Hybrid. So our taxation system literally killed them off.
My main concern with EVs in general is range. Yes, it’s fine for commuting to and from work. But, if I want to go on a long road trip I don’t necessarily want to plan out a route that will have chargers I can use and I don’t want to have to stop 2 or 3 times to sit for a half an hour to charge my car. For context I live in the U.S. so a 500mi/805km road trip is definitely in the cards.
Can definitely understand that concern. I still worry about range. Especially during the winter months, and if going on a roadtrip. So can completely understand. EV's aren't for everyone.. Still a disadvantage for long roadtrips or when towing. For those situations a Plug-In Hybrid/ICE car would be much better.
Merry Christmas! 🎄😄 well if Volvo solve the huge problems: the front seats and putting in a head up display I would consider one, I frikin hate the Tesla shit with just a screen in the middle and if they just put in a head up display problem is solved. I drove a V60 before with the leather seats and that’s why I have problem with both the EX40 and the EX30 seats, they just don’t cut it in comparison 😄
@dablo8250 Yeah, can 💯 understand you there. Also hate the minimalistic single screen layout.. Needs a driver display and some more physical buttons.. but the driving experience and exterior design are a real highlight 😎
@@volvo_kristianI agree, would love to see the EX30 and EX30 CC in Passion Red! Have had the EX30 single extended range now for two months and the single screen is not an issue anymore. When you get used to it, you don't miss the head up display. Driving in dark is a lot easier for example. I came from a V60 CC so I know what I am talking about.
Looks fantastic but to small, they need to upgrade the v60cc and make it in Sweden with knobs for AC and volume. I will never ever buy a Volvo made in china.
@randomreviewz Think it's going to be a while until we'll see a upgrade V60.. Next year we're getting ES90, and year after the EX60.. Then a XC60 facelift will probably also come during this period.. Wonder what's happening with the wagons..
@@volvo_kristianthat’s a huge mistake by Volvo - waiting to come out with a Cross Country PHEV wagon …. And waiting to put switches & dials back in for climate, audio, and drive-mode controls (no driver prefers touchscreen controls to physical controls for these things while driving). Volvo will die as a car manufacturer if they continue to design cars such as the EX90 to be like teslas on the interior (cockpit)…
They do have knobs for volume, and you can press the little speak button and just say, increase or decrease fan, and it’ll do it if you don’t want to fool with the touch screen. Also the china made Volvos have reportedly better build quality than Swedish built ones
@@social_lag Well they should put back the classic 3 knob style I think, safer and nicer to use. I never use the speak button. Im sure the quality is up to standard, it is more about the Chinese government, it doesn't match the values of the Volvo brand at all.

Hope they release it at the same time in the US. Cuz otherwise I gotta wait until the Rivian R3X comes out.
I watched all your ex30 videos and love my ex30 performance!
@@FanifrischLP Wow 👌 Appreciated.. Cool to hear you love your EX30 👌
Great news. Hope the Moss Yellow may continue into the CC version as well!
Would be surprised if it didn't 🤔

@rhas3859 Oh.. Now that would be an amazing present 🎁 EV60 CC or EV90 CC..
That's what I call an awesome Christmas present 😆 Merry Christmas Kristian! 🌟🎄
Indeed 😎 Thanks so much

Haha 😂 close call
Merry Christmas from Ireland. 🎁. I want an ex30
@@Id3fornow... Thanks 🎄 Would you go for the regular one, or the CC ?
I hope it will arrive soon, is the car I was waiting for (I hope it will have a drift mode 😂)
Yeah, wouldn't that be nice 😅 Maybe a RWD lock

The range will be very poor given the size of those tires on the Cross Country model.

@@volvo_kristian I can wait :) The current v60cc wag is great, zero issues for 4 years, love it!
