Aerodynamic wheel inserts. How does this transfer when summer all season and winter tires are interchanged through the year, often with the winter tires running on steel rims.
As you see reading the comments people do not care about features of this car- the only thing which matters: it is beautiful.... And for such a reason Volvo can further cut cost e.g. removing the driver screen (one of important safety/comfort/ergonomic devices)
@@myslecinaczej8674 You're right - I suspect will be a backward step for some time to come. It's a bit like when Steve Jobs removed the keyboard from the original iPhone.

Only thing is on enquiring in Marshalls of Cambridge three days ago this new model will not bit the streets until some time in 2005 A bit disappointing for anybody that has entered one of the car competitions to win this model, as indeed I did last week.
Nothing mentioned about the battery degradation, any new technology/battery management system can make battery last longer? My i3 is 9 years old now, can drive 65 miles on a single charge in summer.
Fingers crossed that the google based system which controls almost everything in the car does not come with the known glitches that have bricked the 2022 and 2023 current models. Available now. These new cars are basically computers with wheels, an I worry about a simple software issue having the ability to render the car useless
Not only that but people should also consider for how long the software will be supported. Examples are TV and other devices that even thought they are big and expensive, stops getting updated and running new software after 3 year. Even phones have this problem.
To highlight one fact, Volvo is now owned by a Chinese company. But the frequent references to Scandinavia are obviously a preferred sales pitch. Great looking car regardless.
Designed and engineered in Sweden. Geely owns a controlling interest in Volvo and Polestar. they also own controlling interests in Lotus Cars, London Taxi, and Smart. So Geely buys a big piece then stays out of their way and lets them all use their talent to develop great cars. Some of these vehicles, but not all, are built in China.
Volvo is not a Chinese run company. you can see yourself in this video who is responsible for the content in Volvos. Scandinavia is the headquarters of Volvo and they set the parameters for Volvo while Geely sets some of the financing.
No digital instruments above or behind the wheel. Nope. Sorry Volvo but you've missed the mark big time here. Nobody told you to copy Tesla. How much is it asked to place a small LED screen centrally behind the wheel to show km/h and/or other basic features like indicators, safety lights etc? Nobody wants that screen broken and not be able to drive properly anymore. This would make me go for the Polestar 2 .
Volvo is phasing out dealers (turning them into service centers) and will implement online sales for their electric vehicles. So, it's not the usual dealer markup issue as with other brands.
Why dont you let me choose my wheel size? Get some decent exterior colours. Use 4 window switches, not the cheap and nasty ones you have to toggle. I dont like the interior door handle. Otherwise, its a nice car
SUV exteriors bore me and this one does as well. It looks like a cleaner, smaller XC40 with EX90 design language. I think Volvo needs to ditch the old logo and put in an illuminated one, a la the Concept Recharge. That would look better. Inside, however, I mostly love this car. You can't help but to see the relationship with Polestar as a lot of the materials, colors and shapes and the overall feel are very similar. Did Volvo change their seat design and give it a more Zeekr back? Otherwise, it's very much a Volvo. The dash is a modernization of the XC40 as are the door panels but there are big changes. Love the speckled material and if you don't like that, then there is denim or the plainer stuff. I'd prefer a small instrument display but, OK, they deleted it. It's probably too small in the back for 4 full sized adults. Still, the interior design seems more thought out and forward moving than that of the EX90 (which I like as well). I do look forward to Volvo's next-gen sedans and wagons and hope that they start to sell better than the current gen does. They are incredibly nice looking vehicles, IMO.
A lot of talk about Scandinavia, and nordic bla, bla, bla...in a Chinese car. This car has allmost nothing to do with Sweden.....atleast not the sweden i know...or once knew.. I will try it and properly buy one....It does look great.
Stunning car, but you need an agreement to use Tesla Superchargers. Public charging just isn't that reliable, but in a few years, this will be a great alternative to Tesla.
It’s not designed to look extravagantly luxurious like a LEXUS with tons of fake leather these days. Just research materials. A look of luxury does not guarantee authentic leather. The materials in Volvo are recycled to offset carbon imprint and are not meant to look like high end. Most high end cars are no longer even using “real leather”. They are using “leatherette” whatever that’s supposed to be, cause it’s cheaper and they can fool customers. Customers care that a car looks good w/o paying attention to whether authentic materials are really being used. So, in short, that simplistic interior is purely Scandanavian. Perhaps this car is not for you. I have a BMW and a LEXUS 350. I would buy this car in a minute! 😊
Is this car a car or only a politically correct piece of art? Does it have any car functions that make it possible to drive and use as transportation? Nothing in this video indicates that it is made for any use at all….maybe it is just a piece of furniture 😮
Pity it's not available as a conventional or at least a hybrid version. Regardless of anything else, a lot of the world in not going to have the required charging infrastructure for a long time yet.

This EX30 and the sister Zeekr X are by far my 2 fav electric cars: innovative and stylish
