update, the debug options are now in the vehicle settings on the last tab and ctrl + n for nodes I didn't show it, but you have to unpack mods, currently beamng is glitched, and it only ever says to pack the mod, but trust me, it works
@@smcfadden1992 kinda, but changing the weight without changing the spring and dampening settings is problematic, so I'd suggest playing with settings in the tuning menu, and leaving it at that
@@fillman86 i made a go kart wanted to make it lighter but couldnt figure it out, it was fun but then after adding some things i ended up breaking it somehow and dumb me didnt make different trims so i still have it in beam but not in automation cant figure out how to send it back
Thinking about it, shouldn't decreasing front wheels in size improve stability a bit? Also maybe making them wider, I think for these speeds it needs them lol. And great video! For some reason I find these project-car-node-adjusting-shenanigans videos of yours especially entertaining
thanks man, the video after this was to test theories about front tire width and aero. So if I had a butt load of rear downforce, then I could have had wider front tires. The reason most open wheeler race cars have a smaller diameter front tire is for reduced drag, and with less weight on the front, they can have smaller brakes too, which all reduces weight too

@@fillman86 tbh I've only ever seen a couple of them, but I think they are cool cars and if I ever make it to that stage in life where I can have a fun car (assuming I ever get a car at all) I'd so want one... as long as it doesn't kill me

FYI: you can turn on the node numbers, node names, beams, Tris, using Ctrl N, B, T, L (I think I got those all right)

I need to do this kind of node editing and wing setup for several of my cars, especially my GT3 car that bottoms out if I go over 100 mph (~160 km/h).
