After driving the Mini Cooper of a friend of mine, i can confirm that the car you made is as realistic as it can get. We had the same problem irl after kicking the gas pedal way to hard 😅
If you wanted to save even more weight, you should have rammed the brake pad type all the way up, then dropped the rotor size until you either get brake fade or until the brake force is too low. Also, ram the brake airflow all the way up to reduce brake fade even further.
Ngl, kinda agree with the sentiment about the automation devs being naive, putting their heads in the sand and refusing to entertain a sizable portion of their playerbase whatsoever is, kinda detracting.
@@fillman86 Yeah in all fairness 4.2 looks great BUT, cars above "production" will still require jbeam edits for the foreseeable future 😭 Speaking of 4.2 there are so many changes I look forward to for this LMH I've been working on for a week, like separated brake pressures, weight distribution sliders etc. It's gonna be great
@@fillman86 Sorry, I wasn't clear enough: I'd like to see if you have a specific method for that, or if you tune "as you feel it", it's always interesting to see how other people deal with this ^_^
*9L 2000 HP V16 IS POSSIBLE* And with the right tuning you can get Bel 2 seconds 0-100. (Not to mention the turbo update will probably remove the stupid amount of lag, there for making 1 second 0-100 a possibility?
haha man I wish I could afford to make a car in an episode and race it, but alas XD though the title has the used games in it :P sorry if you were tricked

haha I'm glad that I was able to capture the essence of it :)
Anti roll bars stiffer in the front, softer in the back to stop oversteer
haha yeah, but the problem was abs was not doing its job good enough, once I downed the rear brakes, it did quite well :)
This comment can help me in future so i reply to come back again when i turn my pc on. And thanks.
Daffy once said that +15 semi slicks are the same with slicks on grip level in beam, so there's that
errrr not quite true, sometimes it effects weight, and sometimes it used to effect grip, but not currently as far as I've seen in the jbeam files
The lord has bestowed upon us the heavenly Friday Pike day, let us rejoice

yeah, but it's not that much of a difference, and I didn't want a trash car. Brake fade tends to rear its ugly head when going up pikes peak haha
@@fillman86 Yeah, though I haven’t really had as much trouble with it on Pike’s Peak as I do on the West Coast Circuit, oddly enough.
I didn't want to make it half way up and then have to remake the car. This is because the other small car I sent up pikes peak had major brake fade XD
the short cast headers get chosen and that adds weight with the turbo
@@ibuildblasters8118 ooooh good point, but I think it was an okay trade off

I want to point out that their new promises are finally interesting, like different wheel options, and intake plenum choices are great!

@@Anvarynn oh yeah, the brakes too! finally I won't have to put tiny brakes on a light car, then have it cook them a few corners in :P
@@fillman86 Lmfao amen to that! Finally I can turn ABS off *MAYBE* with my absolutely giant fuck off brake kit 💀💀💀
So early it's 360p xD
haha yeah, I was late and youtube is slow XD
The "impact detected" is your ESC, if you turn it off you won't see that
How come you didn't bore the engine out? That doesn't add any weight and you could get more power in the same vehicle.
bore it out? making the engine makes it heavier, and in the next panel all you can do is make it smaller......?
must feel like driving a normal car on moon gravity lol (a normal car weighing 1800 kg here)
haha this was like a large gokart
@@fillman86 or like that
I'm curious to see how you tuned your suspensions...
there's 2 graphs to look at, the main one is the steering slow graph, and the other is a bar graph just above the suspension adjustment section :)

oooh, I've planning a tips video, and suspension is one of the things, then you'll see how I do it

about 4500hp is possible too, but my fastest 0-100 was 1.9
