On 1985 first McDonald's opened doors in Mexico City. I remember vividly going during the first days of inaguration. We arrived 6:30am in the morning and there was already a line of cars on the Auto Mac - drive thru. Also lined up people and almost full the parking spaces to eat in the restaurant. I can assure at that time they opened this franchise with 100% quality in mind. The restaurant was all brand new. The tables, the chairs, cashiers, kitchen. Everything was pristine, clean and the service exceptional. The quality of every single item was unbelievable. Now years passed and all I can say it is abominable going to MCD. It is sad because it had so much potential and years of been such successful and profitable. They let the quality go down the drain as well as the maintenance on those restaurants. It is very sad. Wished those times could return and have a decent good quality food available again. Is that too much to ask?
It's depressing that $7 for some nuggets is considered an acceptable price now. I wonder if in my lifetime I'll see it go up to $1 per individual nugget!
This has been going on for years. So the Political crap above is silly. Places like Chick-fil-a, Popeyes and KFC have been gouging on nuggets for years now. Even fake chicken is gouging. KFC has been charging more than a buck per fake chicken nugget. But simultaneously, while BKs nuggets suck, they have been 10 for $1 in recent memory. McDonald's has had regular McNuggets 4 for $1 as recently as three or four months ago. But paradoxically, 6 for like $2.80. Because they could get away with that.
I imagine everyone in fast food test kitchens find arugula spicy. It's the only explanation for why all these "spicy" options are about 6 on the scoville scale.
Its such a hard target for them to hit. It has to be marketable and what someone can take is very subjective. My mothers chili which is too spicy for her has zero heat for me. The more spicy food you eat the less spicy food gets.
I made my own "hot sauce",by combining sriracha,garlic and chili sauce(pretty spicy),jalapeno juice and spicy brown mustard;it's flavorful but tbh it's really not all that super hot.
But they're not really pieces of chicken rather clumps of chicken meat and fat coagulation deep fried in a crusty batter. I refer to them as Chicken McMaggots.
Didn’t care for the spicy nugget itself when it came out a year or two ago but I LOVED the Might Hot Sauce. Definitely would get the nugs just for the sauce.
For some reason, between 2013-2019 I couldn't find that sauce at all, they also had this spicy burger or something (2009-2013 or so?) on the menu that smacked but that also disappeared with time and my memory.

I fried 10 to try for the first time, and no spice but I like the flavor and crispness more than the original nuggets. I suggest to everyone when ordering to ask for the Buffalo sauce to give yourself the kick these nugs are lacking ;)

As a McDonald's employee, I can tell you Sir, that the Szechawan sauce was VERY popular in the latest release. Our location was given a limited amount, and it sold out less than 24 hours.

No Szechuan Sauce here in south eastern AZ.... NOPE, NOT HERE as of 4-5-22! That's not a drop of hot sauce, that's a fish playing a guitar! So, if I hear you correctly, the spice level can build upon itself and maybe what some of us might call "creeper spice". Do I have that correct? HMMMM... 2 sips after the Ranch, only 1 sip after the Buffalo... I am confused... are they spicy or not???
Apparently they only brought them back to 6900 stores, roughly half of the stores in the country. Haven't found a list of which stores got them, but mine definitely didn't.
ROTW panera has 2 new chicken sandwiches, a signature take and a spicy, which I would love to see your opinion on. they're certainly a unique take on the never ending chicken sandwich war and are flying under the radar in my opinion (I work at a panera 😅)
Does anyone miss the Sweet Chili sauce that came out with the BTS meal? My McDonalds had it for like two months after they stopped promoting the BTS meal and it was a sad sad day when I couldn’t get it anymore
I had these last night, and I was very disappointed. They are no where near as spicy as they were in 2020. They tasted like regular nuggets with just a very light sprinkling of spice. Like the kind of "spicy checken" grocery stores sell for the elderly customer base.
They look good, but quite the ripoff at 10 for $7. BK's ghost pepper nuggs were something like 10 for $2.99. And they were really good (until they discontinued them). But, like you say, it is what it is.
I watch you because you are a pleasure to listen to and watch, not because of the food that you review; I try to stay away from fast food for obvious reasons. You'd be a good therapist.

They're running a special, mcdouble and small fries for 3 bucks, bringing the price of the sandwich to $1.50. You just need to be a more savvy shopper

Spicy mcnuggets is my Popeyes popcorn shrimp. I ate spicy mcnuggets for a month straight during Corona. Sooo freaking delicious. I hope after watching this video my pain won't be immeasurable, and my day won't be ruined! Amen! 🙏🙏

As a McDonald's employee, I can tell you Sir, that the Szechawan sauce was VERY popular in the latest release. Our location was given a limited amount, and it sold out less than 24 hours.
I just spent 15 minutes watching a review of a product I don’t ever plan to purchase by a dude who has taste in clothes from 100 years before he was born. The TH-cam algorithm is finally doing right by me.

Apparently they only brought them back to 6900 stores, roughly half of the stores in the country. Haven't found a list of which stores got them, but mine definitely didn't.

I had these last night, and I was very disappointed. They are no where near as spicy as they were in 2020. They tasted like regular nuggets with just a very light sprinkling of spice.
Like the kind of "spicy checken" grocery stores sell for the elderly customer base.

They look good, but quite the ripoff at 10 for $7. BK's ghost pepper nuggs were something like 10 for $2.99. And they were really good (until they discontinued them). But, like you say, it is what it is.
