Just ordered the Tonex1 . Hope to integrate it into my HX Stomp. The big question is to go into the loop on the HX or input for the Tonex1. Looking forward to the Satriani pack.
Just received my tonex one yesterday and also wanted to add it to my hx stomp. Still have been exploring the tonex. First impressions were not great but playing it the second day it is getting better and better and I like it a lot. Have some strange thing with am audio driver it is works on maximum and the volume adjustment doesn’t reacts on the computer (((
Hi thanks for the great demo, i have tested the tones and they sound great😊 i am so tempted to buy, but I would just feel much better if these were officially approved by the amp manufacturers. What is your thought on that. I believe that this is the future that amp manufacturers jump on board and also get a piece of the cake😊 like ik multimedia did with the mesa boogie reference series for tonex cheers
Hi thanks for your reply. Approved by an Amp manufacturer would mean that IK Multimedia would pay a certain percentage to the Amp manufacturer like they do with the mesa boogie Toney reference pack😊 cheers
@henriksorensen6438 right but you can have subjective opinions that have backing with reasoning. Why is it unethical to capture the sounds of amplifiers? Is it unethical for other companies to make strat style guitars? Should fender be getting a cut of prs silver sky? That's what a free market is. I think it's unethical to put locks on products and claim ownership over everything and not share your creations with the world just because you want to make profits. If you truly have the best product, the market will decide if it is valuable.
Hey, I've looked everywhere and haven't been able to figure it out yet. Can you confirm whether or not the Peavey JSX amps are included in here? I see the Mini Colossal but haven't seen the JSX head.
That's what I don't like about artist models many people will buy them wanting to sound like Satch, Slash ect and they may not know how to dial them in to get their desired sound.. There seems to be zero guidance so they then have to turn into net detectives searching the Internet for clues as to how to get the specific sound that they are searching for.
So you're saying that Joe going through the trouble of bringing 27 beloved amps to a studio, setting them up and creating tones while IK engineers are optimally mic'ing and capturing them all, doesn't even earn them a petty hundred bucks? 😂😮😢

@@poulwinthergreat members on the community have already captured great amps for free And $100 is way expensive for just amps (neural dsp give you effects and a full chain for that price)
Respectfully disagree - think about what you get for under $300. Show me what can do that many incredible amp sounds for under $300. I bought this package and it’s the best single collection available from IK Multimedia IMHO. Don’t let the inexpensive cost of the pedal work against the value of this $99 - you can try before you buy. Anyone who can afford this and wants a full collection of clean, crunchy and lead tones should buy this IMHO.
If its anything like the original Satriani Amplitube pack you cant use your own IR's ......massive thumbs down. You'd have to go some way to beat Neural DSP Amp Sims for me.

Wait until Black Friday I got Tonex Max and Amplitude 5 Max for about £120 for the two.

I love that they are doing these, but I don’t want all 59. They should sell individual captures for 5$ each. Same thing for the mesa captures.

What does an approval from an amp manufacturer do? What would that approval process even look like?

Joe collected amps for over 30 years and you get them in your pocket and that's not worth the money?!
