All that is written in the Mandukya can be summed up as an understanding of the three stages of consciousness in all human beings and the fourth which is called the 'Turiya', which cannot be defined. It also gives an elaborate explanation of Aum as - aa.. is for creation, u.. is for preservation and mm is for destruction ...."

About Sri M
Born in India, Sri M is a spiritual guide, social reformer, educator and writer. He first met his Master at the age of nine under the jackfruit tree, in the compound of his house in Thiruvananthapuram in the Indian coastal state of Kerala.
The full account of his astonishing and amazing experiences are published in his memoir from 2011 titled “Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master - A Yogi’s Autobiography“, which became an instant bestseller. He has written a sequel to his autobiography, titled “Sri M - The journey continues”. He has written two more books - Shunya, his first novel and his latest one being - 'On Meditation', a book which answers questions on meditation.
Sri M has traveled the world fulfilling his life’s mission to teach and guide people as instructed by his Master, Maheswarnath Babaji. Over the years, Sri M’s mission as a spiritual guide, social reformer and educator have given rise to many initiatives including:

Is the param atma the witness during deep state of Turiya also? As long as there is life, someone is permanent, and that someone is pure and unafffected.
We say so often, example - "this is my hand". But pause and think, who is the one who is saying "my"? The hand is also external, so my question is - is it the same one who is the witness to deep state.
@@jannetquirk3177 when I said "my hand", I meant that there is someone (param atma)
who considers the hand as a external element. I used that as a context to seek a clarification, Thank you.

His official name is Mumtaz Ali
M is for Madhukar Nath (Hindu name given to him during initial stages of his spiritual journey in this lifetime).
