  • Sri M - "The teaching of the Mandukya Upanishad, what it means to us is : all the sadhana that we do is to awaken this awareness ultimately, not to get stuck on the way and think that this is real. There is a way and that way is to make the mind subtler and subtler and raise it to higher levels of awareness till you come to the ultimate awareness which cannot be described in words, which happily, is also part of us. We are that...."
Sri M speaks on the Mandukya Upanishad - Part 2

    Pranams Guru
Thanks for both videos of this Upanishad. Very very helpful.
I have read this Upanishad again and again. It is just very plain, simple and too straight to understand.
After reading once some comfort comes and again you will go back to this book.
Swami Sarvapriyananda keeps talking on this very beautiful scripture.
I have read this upanishad for years. Only after reading Wisdom of Rishis some clarity emerged and your videos are making my mind digest this scripture.

It takes a deserved person to realise the truth about existence as it really is. It took me about 35 years of spiritual contemplation and readings of books on spirituality until I came up on the final one which I have read countless times and still reads repeatedly.
Jeeva and the universe are twin born. There is no universe without Jeeva. The universe derives its existence from jeeva ( in a mind wrap ).And jeeva derives its existence from pure consciousness which is infinite and bliss which was what you were before you are born as a jeeva and when you are a jeeva and after you cease being a jeeva.

Guruji, one question. There is this witness consciousness in the dream state and waking state, and there is a being that orchestrates the experiences of the states. Is the latter God and former jivatma? Is there anything beyond this understanding that can be understood? Thank you for the time spent towards reading this question, am grateful for the series of recordings you are sharing.. sincerely Sriram from Dubai

@@jannetquirk3177 Thank you Jannet for your kind and loving reply. The ability to put attention on anything, the body, the mind or the pure consciousness that powers these is a blessing that God showers upon to a jiva? And the duration and intensity the jiva experiences when the attention is made ? All that the jiva does is witness the attention powered by the consciousness, I guess..is this making sense, or am I just mixed up?
