Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to discover the world one place at a time, while sharing the experiences through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s itinerary and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!

Mr. Myer:Welcome to Lisbon, Portugal this new week in great joy heading from New Jersey, USA to heads to this amazing European country in February of 2024❤❤❤
I've been to Lisbon and I believe the Roman's built the Aqueducts. Any Portuguese to add to the discussion ? Also, the nice old buildings were built from the wealth generated by their colonization of the New World and S.E.Asia Including pockets of Africa and India
Look it up bro, that is what I mean, people forgot about this history, but a Portuguese will tell you themselves@@davidlai6385

watching from Ethiopia
Oh very beautiful place Portugal
Indeed it is very beautiful 🤩
Great video with lots of helpful tips. Love your energy & ‘down-to-earth’ nature. Plus the history lesson was a joy to listen to. If you weren’t a full time TH-camr & traveller, you’d be a pretty cool teacher.
Glad you enjoyed it! Funny enough I was previously a teacher for 5 years… so good insight from you 😊
@@myertravels And funnily enough, I’m a retired teacher so I guess my ‘teacher radar’ is still active. Lol! Happy & safe travels 😍
@@CatherineWesterberg haha awesome!! I hope you enjoy your retirement and live your life to the fullest, you deserve it!
@@myertravels Thanks so much 🙏😍
The peaceful streets were because you were there very early or, not during full tourist season. I was there the beginning of June, and over a month, I saw the crowds and prices increase. I’m going back at the same time again. 😁
My favorite Portuguese food, in Lisbon was made by a cook from Bangladesh. He used more spices. When you go back, they tell you, you can ask for more seasonings. I’m allergic to pork and eggs so, like a lot of Europe, I have to make sure there’s no pork and eggs in dishes I wouldn’t expect. Everywhere I went in Portugal, people were very accommodating. I love the diversity!
Yes I guess I came at the right time to Lisbon, yes the Bengalis are usually the chefs and they cook great
Beautiful place
It really is!
Very nice Lisbon! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Very nice place to visit
It really is!
Asalam alaikum brother, I appreciate your vlog with much information related to the Moorish influence the impact in these countries the Moors the Arab African Muslims who in history as you said credited for much knowledgeable teachings in many aspects of creation education science medicine surgeries arithmetic etc... way before the Greek another story. They conquered España remained for over 800 years and after the christians took over Muslims still stayed in Granada for another 400 years and the extensive battles with the Ottoman Turkish trying to conquest Spain which they eventually withdrew through retreat. So,.Portugal was part of our Islamic conquestistas from Spain. They've left amazing historical ancient Fortress architecture all around the world. Thanks again for sharing this also perhaps you've had the opportunity to visit in metropolitan area the intrigraded community with Pakistani, Afghanis, Syrian, middle eastern in Lisbon beautiful mosque alhumdulillah.
Thank you for sharing great information in your content. Your vlogs are very great, including cultural aspects, not only history but delicious traditional food 👍lol they drive mostly stick shift in Pakistan 🤭.
Best wishes
Masha allah my bro salaam welcome back to Europe salaam from uk

Mr. Myer:Thanks you so much for heading Lisbon,Portugal today’s in great joy & peace Europe February of 2024❤❤❤I wish you safe journeys in peace Mr. Myer 2024❤❤❤
You’re so kind!
Thanks you so much for your new remarkable video today’s from Lisbon, Portugal to shows these amazing places & Landmarks in Europe 2024❤❤❤
I had a pakistani friend who lived in Lisbon. You are right. Lots of asians coming to work. Young portuguese leave to find better jobs elsewhere. Retirees are left. Birth rate is low so immigration is key! Be careful with portuguese pastries bro..they use lard. Mr. Porky is popular. Seafood is their speciality! Lovely video! The information on the lost history of the Moors was fantastic. Part of the Islamic Golden Age! Western history has tried to erase their influence! The West would not have advanced out of their dark ages without the muslim Moors!
Assalamu Alaiykum brother ❤
Salaam brother Myer, thank you so much for this video 😊
Even though I've been to Portugal on four occasions, thrice in Madeira, once in Albufeira, I'll be visiting Lisbon for the first time ever to vlog come May.
I found your guide most informative & you have a charming & concise way of presenting the facts & your experiences to the viewer, which many will find useful, not just myself!
Did you get a chance to visit Martim Moniz where its a predominately South Asian populated area?
Call me a colonial cousin, a fellow Desi, British Bangladeshi living in Ireland!
I also watched your Sintra video with Yes!Experiences & I enjoyed that one too. I visited their website but was unable to find info for that trip. May I ask how much it was please as I'm going to suggest it to my friends?
I hope to hear from you soon & have a wonderful week my friend 🤗
Awesome and Yes charged me 200 euro for the day, not including food
The info is in my bio
@@myertravels Thanks bro for getting back to me 😊
I did click on the link for the Yes! but it didn't have details about Sintra.
Looking forward to your next one!
Just reach out and tell them what you want theyll work with you@@RuePhoto
You know brother when u come to Brunei I was see u I know you are famous TH-cam r bro u walk the bander seri begawan street roads and making the TH-cam video 😊❤
Mr. Myer: Are you planning to visits Helsinki, Finland in February of 2024 after visiting Lisbon, Portugal this week in great joy February of 2024? I wish you the Best always in peace 2024❤❤❤
Nice video!! For next time when you come , the J’s in Portuguese are pronounced like J’s, not H’s as in Spanish language.👍🏻👍🏻 😊different languages. So Jorge is pronounced more like “George” not hor-hay. ❤
Mr. Myer:I am hoping you are planning to releases a new third remarkable video this weekend from Lisbon, Portugal in February of 2024 since you arrives one week ago in Europe February of 2024❤❤❤
Spa
🙏 "Promosm"
21:54 "There's a place here called Seher Palace. They offer a lot of local dishes." 😂 It is funny how this Pakistani guy advertises a Portuguese typical food restaurant, but the offered food is Spanish paella, American burgers and Italian pizza and lasagna. Once again the Portuguese are making something foreign their own.
Spanish
and where did the Moors learn their science from? the greeks and romans
God
Cristiano Ronaldo in his country Siuuuuuuuuuuu 😂😂
Ele deveria visitar o Museu do Cristiano Ronaldo , que fica na ilha da Madeira onde o Cristiano nasceu .
Paella is not a portuguese dish
What is it then?
I don't think the Moors who conquered the Iberian peninsular looked like sub Saharan Africans as depicted in the video. They were a Caucasian race, like the present day Berbers of North Africa.
God forbid dark skinned people had an impact on history huh?
@@myertravels Yes, but the majority north africans aren't black. You have visited Morocco, therefore, you should know that. In Spain, they still call moroccans, moros, and in Portugal, mouros. You should definetly visit the tamazight speaking regions in Morocco and know more about the indigenous population. Indeed, Moroccans are mostly of native descent who have adopted the arabic language, although darija is not understood by arabs. Their accent and vocabulary is based on their native language., tamazight, as well as spanish and french.
no. just because you grew up with a phone in your hand doesn't give you the right to video people outside their home in public. That's such an arrogant American statement. Respect others. Just because you have a TH-cam channel 🙄 doesn't make you that special.
My drilla. Nobody cares about Portugal.
Isso é FAKE ( FALSO ) !...
Senão não receberia MILHÕES de visitantes todos os anos !...
I visited Spain in 2010: I'm sorry that I didn't visit Portugal.🇵🇹🇦🇺🦘
It’s okay you can still do it!
@@myertravels I drove around France, Spain, Switzerland and Belgium for a year in 2010: I spent all of my superanuation on my trip. I'll have to do it again; next time I will include Portugal, for sure!🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇦🇺🐊🦘
