This really brought back fun memories for me! 🤩I was blessed to be born into a singing family in which we could all harmonize, so music has always been a very integral part of my life. In 1959, when I graduated from "Junior High" (now called "middle School") I put together a "'Trio" of 3 girls for the entertainment. We sang "Lollipop", and "Sentimental Journey". Such great harmony for both songs and so much fun! Music is such great medium for fun and entertainment. So fun to watch these cute gals put on such a great little performance! 👏😀🤩💖
I absolutely love this, too! You gals have the '50s look absolutely nailed! It strikes me as more of a parody than a tribute. But a tribute, it still is! Keep up the great work!
GOOD N' FUNNY AND GOOD SINGING, I am Beverl'y's friend, and she wrote this song in 1958 and is still making music now! She is a significant pioneer of rock n roll Best, Ferris
I'd love to get my quartet singing that but I'm not sure they'd be up for it. :-) Great job. So hard to sing when bouncing around like that and you did a fab job and you look gorgeous.
Love it girls! This is great fun I was about to share it with the high school group i teach but... hmmm... maybe the sucking subject matter would get me in trouble... :)
The amount of abuse and criticism in the comments is frankly revolting. I bet you people wonder why you never find women who like your interests when you're busy insulting them all the time.
The slurping sound was well executed and reminded me of removing a larger sucker from my mouth without slobbering candy laden saliva on my front! Nice chords, I enjoyed your perfomance.
Initially I didn't like how they separated "Ooh lol ---- li la li la li" but listening to the whole song, it makes sense after hearing it in the slow part.
At the beginning i forgot the song was called "lollipop" when the woman "recent studies have shown that when sucking on an object" my mind blanked out right there
The intro was honestly more irritating than entertaining. I understand it was intended to be in stark contrast to the talent coming after the banter, but god rework it please and find another scripted argument. The singing was good but the popping noise was a bit slobbery (if that makes sense?). Try for a clearer more concise noise. Anyway good stuff love to see more coming.

You gotta admitt the blue one was pretty glamorous.

The likes hahahah
braces on the lower choppers would improve a bit

She reminds me of Kristen Shaal aka the voice of one Louise Belcher

I'd love to get my quartet singing that but I'm not sure they'd be up for it. :-) Great job. So hard to sing when bouncing around like that and you did a fab job and you look gorgeous.
Best version I've ever heard... And I've heard a few!
Ladies, this is THE perfect performance.
I lift my hat.
Absolutely love this. Shared it with Euphoria Show Choir... Perhaps take some inspiration!
Thanks Matt! Appreciate the kind words. All the best with Euphoria, sounds great x

Funny, gorgeous, and talented; what a group!
Good for them! They sound great.
The amount of abuse and criticism in the comments is frankly revolting. I bet you people wonder why you never find women who like your interests when you're busy insulting them all the time.
No one is insulting them for being women you knob
that first minute the banter was real
The slurping sound was well executed and reminded me of removing a larger sucker from my mouth without slobbering candy laden saliva on my front! Nice chords, I enjoyed your perfomance.
I love this!!!!!!
Giggling! Naughty!
I love this so much
Good job! Liked this! ;-)
That was sweet.
Initially I didn't like how they separated "Ooh lol ---- li la li la li" but listening to the whole song, it makes sense after hearing it in the slow part.
Lollipop would be my second guess...😳
Funny...lol...good
that lead though
Great singing, but the room you were in had too much reverb.
You've taken a wholesome part of Americana and turned it nasty, dirty, perverted...I love it!
... what makes you think it wasn't to start with?
--Dave, waggling the eyebrows
At the beginning i forgot the song was called "lollipop" when the woman "recent studies have shown that when sucking on an object" my mind blanked out right there
I never realize the Lollipop song was quite that sexual! ;-)
They're not the Chordettes but they are very good. Love 'em !
when the lady in the green came in at 3:40 ??? so good!!
The lead singer's voice reminds me Susanna Hoffs
Fierce and fierce and a half.
That's pretty cool
amazing
Encore!
Very good❤
that was a whole lot of ham with the lolipop
Great!
This was different
Жутковато иногда, но так то прикольно. Я то искал квартет как в цыанид и счастье был
when are you guys gonna come to Sydney?
We do need to organise a tour! Will you be our Tour Manager? Go oooooon Eeeeileeeeennnn
Bobbyand thePins Totally! I've toured before ;) Might have to get you into the art festival scene :)
"guys"???? I thought they were girls? Get real!!!
Red is flirty hehe
3:58
Interesting to see an Australian version. But the female groups are actually known as "Sweet Adelines" not "Barbershop Quartets".
I'll take the first rendition over this anytime. Sorry girls...
l Cant believe they are men ! great makeup !
Barbershop quartets usually try not to oversing and they stay in key. Thats like the whole thing they do. A+ for appearance. C+ for sound.
Not sure if Australian or british...
They are Australian. I'm able to tell because I'm a New Zealander. Australian and New Zealander accents are kinda similar.
Which one is Bobby?
WANNA HIRE U GALS'''!!!! SERIOUS ! :
)

hier ist die 2. von rechts am besten. geschmeidig .
Stop insulting them, they are wonderful. Do you have the guts to do what they do?
Sorry girls but you can get some improvement and one question did that meant to be dirty or did it just came out like that
Я ржал как лошадь
I'd do the one in purple big-time.
3:57 on repeat :D
Tumi Adeyoju
That slurping sound the woman in green produces is disgusting
That is a normal part of the song.
no it isn't listen to the official song its a pop noise.
l Cant believe they are men ! great makeup
Big the wig wat
theyre men
wat
Lucas Poteet they aren't men it's meant as an insult
JUST SING! ...ooh got to the singing...dont
Bass is out of tone, but overall is good
It's actually the Baritone. The bass is relatively on pitch.
Maybe both. Anyway, the thing is that the two most important parts of the quartet (baritone and bass) are the worst.
terrible
Funny but awful. Sorry
this is terrible
Michael M you think you can do better?
xxx xxx thank you😁
completely sexist... try harder to do something that contributes FOR women, not for men.
Sweet Adelines NOT barbershop quartet. Men go to barbershop to get haircuts not women. Thats where it started. Duh!!!!
アレンジがいまいち。
無駄に早い
Hurts my fucking ears without a bass...ughhh.
boriiiing *chokes on something*
butchered.
cut out that incessant talking at the beginning and you'd have one fantastic video!
l Cant believe they are men ! great makeup !
