It's their 10th year anniversary this year. Also fun fact: they wrote Wings (this song) when they were still teenagers. Their debut album is called DNA back in 2012. They're the first and only group to ever win the X Factor in 2011. Now two of them are going to be mums.

As someone who doesn't listen to them, I thought it was important to listen to something of theirs that was older so that when I react to something more recent, I'll have an understanding of where they came from and how they've improved ☺️
@@jessicasopranonotes That makes total sense to me!! Also, this was a fun performance, so it's a great one to get a feel for them as a group. Jade didn’t do the best that one note but I am pretty sure in their newer stuff you'll see her hitting those notes well!

Thank you for being honest, our girls are not *perfect* as no human is, but they're GREAT and that's why we love them! I personally love Jade's high head voice note, even though it breaks a bit she doesn't let it go out of key, which is such a professional recovery and could almost seem intentional to the casual ear. There are tour performances where she changes this note or hits it clearer, but I'd recommend just going straight to a recent performance so you can see their general improvement and then you can dissect the bits in between :) I see Secret Love Song on their show "The Search" and their acoustic rendition of "Confetti" (their most recent performance!) lots here and I back these opinions up 1000%!

The first singer was Jade, Jesy you already know, the blonde ponytail was Perrie and the black queen was the gorgeous Leigh-Anne. Leigh-Anne and Perrie are both pregnant.

omg im in loveeee with you, this performance analysis was so good, the first girl that you started talking about her name is Jade, the second girl with the pony tail is Perrie, and that leaves us with Leigh-Anne/the third girl (cuz you already know Jesy). These girls are the epitome of raw vocal talent. The way they perform is pure magic, they should be 100x bigger than they are. Im not even going on a limb when I say they are the best of all time. Overall I enjoyed this video very much and I'm looking forward to more little mix performance analysis & other analysis in general.

And one more comment..... I agree with the rest of the comments you should really check out their acoustic version of their song "Confetti", definitely one of their finer moments... I'm still dealing with the grief of Jesy leaving but I understand when you had enough of a situation you have to get out while you still can, So glad there's no bad blood though those girls were too good of friends for that!

That was awesome of you to say because a lot of people just need to hear that that if you hit that note and it's not perfect it's okay It happened I know and I'm doing certain things and I'm not in my comfort range as far as an octave goes, And I hit that off note yeah I'm going to be hard on myself but I come back quickly and be like all right That's how it happened sometimes work on it and try again down the line or whenever I feel good trying it again 🤷🏻♀️

In Jade's defense for the first part when she did the high note... That's not a usual way they sing the first part of the song That was the first time she ever did that was for this performance so it was something new to her, not sure how sound check might have sounded but I'm sure nerves played a part in that if you looked out into that audience I'm sure nerves would have hit you quite severely look like an insane amount of people there
