Michael is the best! He's a genius performer who knows like every show, review, Broadway play, etc and can reference them all in conversation, and he can play professional guitar music i.e. folk, bluegrass, "American songbook" type stuff, seriously like hundreds of songs. Great guest

Oh Man - I always enjoy Michaels work. He has to be in the top ten of people I would like to "have a beer" or go to lunch with. Likely beer or beverage coming out of my nose at some point in that meet up. So smart, so funny and he sure seems like a kind person. This was a fun True or False. Nice work Rich and crew.
The drummer of L and the Squigtones looks amazingly like Peter Criss.
His acting in Better Call Saul is as good as I've ever seen. Just incredible.

I really love the true or false episodes but does Rich seriously need to mention the Production Value every single time.
I have been thinking the same thing. The show looks and is edited how a show should look.
Rich Eisner is amazing in many different ways, but like you I've never understood his fascination with his 3 second intro.
Now, I obviously remember Saturday Night Live and Lavern & Shirley from back then, but the first movie I saw him in was actually D.A.R.Y.L. and, as young as I was, it was such a heartfelt role that it became the most memorable for me.
Flashback and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The former is not as well known but is worth watching.
He was in "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" for about 30 seconds.

Simple Happy Days
As much as I enjoy his work, there's no major Breaking Bad character I can think of for him. The two others that come to mind are Jane's dad, or the rehab guy that accidentally killed his own daughter. I'm leaning towards the latter.

My guess is Michael would've been either the Madrigal CEO who was Gus' silent partner and self-electrocutes himself when the cops show up, or Jane's father, the distracted air traffic controller who causes the crash of Flight 515.
Jane's dad is my second pick, behind the guy that runs the rehab support group that Jesse goes to..

I’m thinking the Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGil part or maybe even the main role of Walter White because I can’t see him as Hank.
I recall hearing that Saul was a later creation, so maybe not him. I was thinking possibly Hank, but a less abrasive version. Maybe a DEA manager level...

even during BB series i think michael mckean would've been too old to be a main character. mckean is mid 70s now so don't see too many 60 year old teaching high school chemistry (or 60 year old guys negotiating street-level-drug-dealer situations). I'd guess more likely it was walter white's business partner elliot, bc that's a similar type of role. iow, chuck is to JMG/SG as to what elliot was to WW.
i'll bet they offered him Odenkirk's part.
