I hate hay-fever And i hate how people who don't have treat people who do ever has hayfever. Teachers forced me to stay outdoors I got kicked out of the medical room. And i wasn't allowed to take medicine
Hayfever was first described as far back as ancient Greek literature. By the 1700s, English diaries comment on "Summer afflictions" describing hayfever and noting those who can afford, move to the sea side for the summer. I am just astounded that there's no cure. But then, as my Bio Chemist lecture at Cambridge once said "why sell a cure to a non life threatening allergy when they make billions on drugs that help reduce the effects" I also find it interesting to observe that actors, politicians, sportsman, singers, monarchs show neither sneezing fits or any signs of hayfever?! Must be just a HUGE coincidence that all these folks haven't got hayfever?! ...or
I do Benadryl along with Sudafed. It is horrible right now in the Midwest. My black car has been outside for two days and now it’s yellow. Also, this hayfever really affects my eyes. So red and itchy
I'll try the worms thank you. This year I've had the worst hay-fever ever. I didn't even know I had hay-fever. I just thought I got sinus infection (cause of the sinus pain and feeling like my face would fall off) and this year especially it has attacked my eyes, again, I thought I had conjunctivitis.
Its nearly 5 years since the video, has there been any progress for hay fever medication? I hate suffering from this gross allergy. If yes, please respond
Silvan Geissmann These helminths wouldn't shut the immune system down, they'd make your immune system concentrate its efforts towards an actual threat, regulating immune reactions.
Silvan Geissmann Worms pacify our immune response by deactivating certain immune cells which means that our immune response is less strong against things such as worms and allergens. It's mode of action is focussed particularly on the IgE pathway. IgE is the antibody that is involved in parasitic infections and in allergic responses, but not in much else (though this could lead to slightly higher vulnerability to secondary parasitic worm infections). Instead, it's the IgG antibody that is most active in our bodies in the fight against most human pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi. HIV on the other hand directly infects immune cells and actually takes residence in there. It gradually shuts down our entire cell mediated immune response by either directly or indirectly killing off a vital part of the system - CD4+ T cells.
Yeah, sadly. I'm allergic to pet dander, pollen and dust mites :D "Hay fever is caused by an allergic response to outdoor or indoor allergens, such as pollen, dust mites, or tiny flecks of skin and saliva shed by cats, dogs, and other animals with fur or feathers (pet dander)" ~ Mayo Clinic
I’m more than happy to discover this channel. I need to thank you for your time for this, particularly a fantastic watch!! I liked every little bit of it and I have subscribed you to look at new posts all the time.
brod2man, helminths can certainly help with food allergies although, if you have anaphylactic reactions, I'd continue to carry an epipen even though you may not need it. There's more here: helminthictherapywiki.org/wiki/index.php/Helminthic_therapy_personal_stories#Food_allergy
The problem is poor eating habits. Go drink green, vegetable and fruit smoothies and you'll be cured. I had a lot of allergies when I was young, I have nothing now because I eat well.
Dee ! Adiós mundo - I believe in eating everything in small amounts. All fruits, green and non-green vegetables, seeds, nuts and legumes. I eat small amounts of beef, chicken, fish, eggs and honey. I've tried being vegan and felt weak.
I had the worst hay fever from 12 to 40 years old. I had a serious accident at 40 and after a massive blood transfer I never got hay fever again.
🙂
Yay? …
I think I'll just keep to the antihistamines thank you.
If antihistamines cure your hay fever, you're lucky. I want to chop my fucken head off during the bad parts of the year (spring, summer, fall).
Nope anything to help ill take the worms the anihistimines are absolute rubbish

I love seeing how the immune system deals with invading cells
I have very bad hay fever so in May, it’s like hell and I get a sore throat like I have Tonsillitis. I feel like I literally have Influenza!
Yeah, I’ll just stick to covering my nose in vasaline
I'm 30 and have just had my first ever hay fever. My ears are blocked, by throat glands swollen, nose blocked, headache, just feel sore all over.
I have hay fever because of genes.
My mom has it, her sister, my grandmother and her dad.
And it suks
I have hay fever but I’m more affected by dust than pollen and stuff
Isn’t polllen hayfever tho ?

What happens if a worm evolves to become deadly
So worms shut down the detection system. How is this not HIV-like and dangerous?

Thanks for delivering such an exciting video. I hope to see more great video like this in the future and keep the good work going on.
I HATE when my mouth is itchy aswell
How many years do I have to wait until someone makes a vaccine for hayfever? The found one for covid in months
This cant work as it would just make your immune response stronger
Does dust mite allergy fall under “hay fever”?

I also have sinus polyps for 15 years
Why does only one of my sinuses get blocked at any given time?
Even when your nose is clear, you only breathe through one nostril at a time. Body divides the work of breathing.
I get hey fever and somtimes it is very bad on the very bad days I need a pill ever 4 hours I cant help it at all
Wow the music was quite distasteful
Yikes, allergies are the worst. Thanks for these helpful tips!

Well that took a turn.

I’d rather be bunged up then sallow worms
Worms that are less gross 😂 I laughed at that part!
I don´t know if I would rather to have a runny butt than a runny nose
