    Thanks for the video Dr. David. Within the next few years we must be looking at a very effective way to treat allergies completely. Although, shots currently appear to be most effective and I am willing to take the needle, unfortunately 1-2 times a week in a doctors office simply isn't possible for my work/travel schedule. Keep us updated Dr!

      @lidieri did you find any alternative solution? I have dust and pollen allregy ,my doc has suggested oral immunotherapy

      Yes I’ve tried allergy drops under tongue for 3 years. Nothing got worse but no improvement either. Yes. I am thinking about getting the shots. I know someone who took the shots and pretty much cured her symptoms entirely.

    My son has quite bad dust allergy , for about a year he had SLT from an allergist abroad. I’m just wondering if that 1 year treatment would have had much effect. We need to get the next dose from abroad but Dr has moved from his practice. 😢

    Hi Dr. David,
    Loved the video! What are the side effects of immunotherapy? I’ve heard at times symptoms increases too!

    • @DrDavidMD
      @DrDavidMD  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @rohitpanjabi1256 - There are many different types of immunotherapy. As for oral immunotherapy, nausea and vomiting are probably the most common; that said, they are not very common. The symptoms usually reduce as the therapy continues.
      Anaphylaxis can happen with oral immunotherapy, especially if a person is very allergic to the substance being treated. This is why it should be done first in a physician's office.These symptoms can also be seen with allergy shots

      @hanstoppani5114 - HI. I am so sorry you have been feeling sick from this. Unfortunately, I can't give input without knowing more about your personal medical history. I encourage you to bring this up with the ordering physician. For people who are not my patients, if they want to talk through their personal circumstances, I also do health educational consultations. If you are interested in exploring that, you can learn more about my approach on my website - drdavidmd.com/ - and you will also find contact information there. Take good care, Dr. David

    I just got my second allergy shot yesterday and it gave me body aches and fatigue what can i do? Will the pills be better? My eusephonils are always high on my labs is it because of my allergies?

    • @DrDavidMD
      @DrDavidMD  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @susievidal4134 - Hi. Oral immunotherapy is typically done using drops as opposed To a tablet. It is felt that the oral treatment is less likely to cause systemic side effects.

      @@DrDavidMD Firstly, I really appreciate you for taking your time to respond ,thank you so much
      Actually I am originally from India & throughout my entire life, I have never had any allergies. For the past seven years, I have been living in Germany. During the first 3 yrs, I had no allergies. Actually from past 5 yrs, I have not undergone any vitamin test.
      Just last year and also just one month ago, I had a vitamin test. Results is that i have a deficiency in vitamin B12, iron, and vitamin D (it's very low ). So, I was just thinking in the last week, if I really have an allergy, then why didn't it start when I arrived in Germany?
      However this pollen allergy has been present for the past 2 years
      So I was searching regarding this and i was listening to your video
      Once again thank you very much for sharing the imp information...God bless you 💞
      Greetings

      It’s not the root cause but deficiency of both makes it worse . Piece of advise please consume Bee pollen and must be a local one ( where you reside) . This will help you tremendously

      Hi, our practice does not provide immunotherapy. There are allergists in the area who do it, so we send patients along for the therapy if our functional medicine treatments do not quell the allergic symptoms.

      @DrDavidMD  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ishwaryasoundarya3336 - it sounds like your child may be experiencing immune system dysregulation. Working with a functional medicine pediatrician such as myself, could provide root cause answers. Feel free to reach out to my office -- WholisticFamilyCare.com - for more information or look locally for a provider where you are based.
