JBL Flip 5 and Marshall Emberton both sound really good in real life! But what people need to know is that the Emberton isn’t made for big party’s, but more for small gatherings. You know the cafe vs the club kind of thing. Or poolparty v.s. picknick. Don’t get me wrong the Emberton is still really loud, and it can handle lot of different music styles, but in comparison I found the JBL Flip 5 more direct hitting, more punchy maybe it creates this party vibe, where the Emberton was more smoothly and gave me this festival feeling. I personally like the Marshall Emberton more. What do you think, which is best and why?
Agree, own both, Marshall more high end sound, only lack is the bass but thats enough for most 90s music. If I want bass I just use my hk onyx studio 5
I don't own a jbl, but I just got my marshall, and man it's really good,... At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
My ueboom 2 has taken the beating of countless stuff during my masters at uni. It’s def well built. I even use it in my car because I can’t be bothered to get a stereo with Bluetooth or even an aux for it (it’s old and fits perfectly in my cupholder). I even did kick ups with it and it just took it like a tank, sound is still quality too.
Comparing jbl charge 4, charge 5 and the Marshall emberton. Charge 4 is out in terms of sound. Only connectivity is superior. Charge 5 and emberton are a very hard choice. Emberton has a tiny bit more detailed sound and a stereo like sound in full room. Charge 5 has more base at higher volumes. In mid level they are nearly identical but emberton sounds a little bit finer. Charge 5 you can connect as a stereo pair or party connection. As single speaker it's a hard choice.
Which one sounds better at higher volume? I just got the emberton instead of the charge due to the price difference.Hope im not missing out on too much
interesting comparison! surprised to hear that about the bose. i considered bose overpriced for a long time, and then i bought the ue boom and the soundlink color by accident once. i tested both out since i had them and i was shocked by how little bass the ue boom had, which was the one i had wanted, and im listening to my soundlink color right now, still going strong over 5 years later! (i dont need to replace it, im just curious what else is out there now LOL)
@ctran1955 - I am not sure if you have the Bose SoundLink Color 1 or 2. I bought the SL Color 2 a couple years ago, it definitely has more bass than you'd expect from a smaller speaker, and the mids and highs sound so great on it as well. I like SLC2 so much, that it's on sale again, and thinking about getting a 2nd one to pair them up in stereo. Then a few days ago I listened to the newer Bose SoundLink Flex, and I am very impressed, it has more bass, fuller sound and brings up the sound a few more notches than the SLC2. I also don't need to add any more speakers to the few I already have, but sometimes when I look around at what else is out there and the newer arrivals, it's really tempting to add another one to the collection.
Good Morning! I would like to know if it is possible to disable the extremely loud sound when turning the device on / off, moving forward / backward from the track and also, when the maximum volume is reached, I find these sounds unnecessary and uncomfortable, thank you.
