Listening to this on my new Emberton Black and Gold edition. Sounds great, looks classy. Update: several months owning this speaker has made me realize what incredible sounds it is able to achieve. It has a broad sweet spot and wonderful room filling sound. Try placing it a few inches from a wall, turn it backwards or even upside down. Each creates a different spectrum of ear pleasing music. I’ve used my Emberton for everything from of course music, tv, movies, games. Coupled with my new iPad Pro 11”, it’s become my own small but powerful entertainment system. Freaking awesome.

JBL Flip 5 and Marshall Emberton both sound really good in real life! But what people need to know is that the Emberton isn’t made for big party’s, but more for small gatherings. You know the cafe vs the club kind of thing. Or poolparty v.s. picknick. Don’t get me wrong the Emberton is still really loud, and it can handle lot of different music styles, but in comparison I found the JBL Flip 5 more direct hitting, more punchy maybe it creates this party vibe, where the Emberton was more smoothly and gave me this festival feeling. I personally like the Marshall Emberton more. What do you think, which is best and why?
If I only like dancy music with punchy bass I would definitely go for any of the JBL speakers. The Sony's are more in the middle of everything with a bit lacking bass but perfect mids for vocals. The emberton sounds very bright and I feel like it would be best for accoustic songs.

The Sony has a half decent app where you can adjust the sound. In the U.K. at least, I picked my one up for £80. I like how the charging port is actually covered as well. I don’t doubt the quality of the Marshall, and I love JBL speakers, but the sony is good value if you can find one at a good price which is easier than the other two, although that Marshall is going for £110 right now.
@@jfara_ the only difference really is that the flip 5 have deeper bass as the xb23 have more punch and the xb23 doesn’t destort as the embertin like it did in the video but the xb23 have better mids and highs and louder then the flip 5 and I have the xb23 and it sounds good
@@xrealess the sony xb23 actually sounds good it sounds very balenced vs my last xb22 witch had little more deeper bass but the xb23 have better mids,highs and sound separation witch for me the flip 5 is missing but the flip 5 only have deep bass as the xb23 have more punch if your outside that is more important then deep bass and witch on some music genres the flip 5 doesn’t sound good and what is sony is doing this time is more for clear balanced sound then more and more bass witch can be too much for some music and listen I lovee bass but for like rock too much bass is not good or for dance and electronic music to much bass can make the mids and highs not good so the xb23 over all is the best sound quality speaker and the flip 5 have the most deepest bass and the emberten has the most vocals here.

Marshall is iconic. Also why do you need aux ona BT speaaker? Its wireless. Components are also really good in Marshall and the company stands for quality. Anker is just another in a long line of junk.

I don't understand why the author of this video says that the XB23's sound is better. I heard the 3 speakers with the WH-XB900n headphones, and the bass sound of XB23 was not full, lifeless, uninvolved, and the high frequencies were annoying. I heard it again in my studio speakers, and the feeling was the same. For me the best sound was from Marshall, but JBL was also very pleasant. It may be possible to have better Sony sound using the equalizer, but in this video it was the worst, definitely.
Its his mics because in real life the song xb23 actually sounds good and if u want the full thing of it you gotta use higher codec and the sony will shine more.
just got my emberton! upon initial testing, it sounds a bit distorted/fluttered when set at the 2 maximum volume levels. Is that normal? i mean to compare to like its 80% volume, the sound at max vol. loses quite a significant amount of bass but is indeed very loud.
The sony sounds just strange... really bad. The jbl ist like it’s hidden under something... totally unclear. The emberton sounds pretty clear and gives you the music like it’s recorded. So definitely emberton 👍👍😎

The sony xb23 have stareo witch makes it sound clearer and more clarity and it have great treble and highs and they are controlled well I listen to almost every ganera of music and the xb23 handles the music well especially listening to rock
Sony is a bit muffled but you can adjust it. On the other hand the battery life is not good at all. Marshall has more well round sound perfectly balanced and it looks better indeed but the price throws me off. JBL has more bass and it sits somewhere in between the other 2. I think it is more like a value for money speaker.

I wouldn't say that the 33 sounds BETTER, it just gets louder. If Marshall came out with a version of the emberton that was simply bigger id take it all day

No comparison between the three since considering price difference amongs them. Here in India Marshall cost above 2000$, JBl Flip 5 around 1400-1500$ and Sony just above 1000$. So no doubt sound of Marshall should have to best 😊😊
