The medallion fund was something everyone could invest in at first. Only in 1993, after a few years of ridiculous results did they change it so that only employees can own a part of it, Truth is it functioned like an ordinary ETF at first!
@@costa2018 I think his strategy was to just get fundamental/original thinkers who are just faster mentally, thus any ideas in the current market could be considered and then outperformed simply outperformed. Just barely staying 1 step ahead of the competition means everything in social games such as the stock market and investments. It's like if 2 people swung swords at each other and 1 person has an inch extra reach. The difference might be small but someone's head is getting chopped while the other is unscathed. The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.

The idea of investing a significant sum of money may be both thrilling and intimidating. There is potential for considerable wealth increase with the correct strategy. How can one take advantage of compound interest and potentially grow your retirement savings to about $1M over time?
Most newbies either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however, I think it is just best to invest in the S&P500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-- lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.

The system is failing as a result of both government and federal policy. In the next days, the banking crisis would have to be epic and gigantic for the FED to decide not to raise interest rates. This won't happen; an increase and a crash are coming. There will be more negative portfolios this 2nd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.
there are tons of cool stocks in different industries to watch. You don't have to act on every forecast. I suggest teaming up with a financial advisor who can help you pick the right times to buy and sell the stocks or ETFs you're eyeing. They can give you some solid advice to make smart moves.
That's awesome to hear! Having a skilled advisor to guide your day-to-day investment decisions, especially with their expertise in long and short positions, risk management, and access to exclusive information, can really make a difference. It's no surprise you've seen such impressive returns, netting over 2.8 million in over 2 years. Keep up the great work with your advisor!
I actually subscribed for a few trading courses but it didn't help much, been getting suggestions to use a proper financial advisor, how did you go about touching base with your coach?
When ‘Carol Vivian Constable’ is trading, there's no nonsense and no excuses. She wins the trade and you win. Take the loss, I promise she'll take one with you.
One key return is diversification. I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially In 2024, we'll start to see more market diversification. I'm hoping to invest about $350k of my savings in stocks against next year. Hope to make millions in 2024
Since risk is at an all-time high right now, perhaps you should be a little more patient and return when it has decreased. Alternatively, you can consult a trained financial expert for strategy.
Yes true, I have been in touch with a brokerage Advisor. With an initial starting reserve of $80k, my advisor chooses the entry and exit commands for my portfolio, which has grown to approximately $550k.
My CFA “Diana Casteel Lynch”, a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
I think I get it: 1) be smart 2) be MIT smart 3) hire smart math people 4) hire even smarter people 5) be a bit lucky in the beginning 6) borrow lots of money 7) incentivise smart people by sharing profits, making them feel like co-owners of the firm 8) repeat number 7.
There are many differing viewpoints regarding equities and their projections for the next years; I strive for short-term substantial returns from market corrections, and I'd surely get on the boat if I knew anything about day-trading. I'm just searching for the appropriate moves to increase and protect my $490k reserve from inflation.
You're correct. I think the smartest way to go is to spread out your investments. By putting your money into different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and stocks from other countries, you can lower the risk if one part of the market goes bad.
Often people underestimate the value of counseling until their own emotions become overwhelming. A few summers ago, after a long divorce, I needed a huge push to keep my business going. I searched for licensed advisors and discovered one with the greatest qualifications. Despite inflation, she has helped increase my reserve from $275k to $750k.
i'm intrigued by this. I've searched for financial advisors online but it's kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation?
"Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier," a well-known authority in this field. I would recommend looking into her credentials more because she has a great deal of expertise and is a great resource for anybody looking for advice on how to navigate the financial market.
I've been hesitant to invest in the present market, but I believe it's the greatest moment to get started. I heard one person talk about making over a million dollars with $450,000 in cash, and I'm left wondering what talent and plan would yield such a return.
Avoid hasty decisions based on short-term swings. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective, and most importantly, seek financial advice to make educated purchasing and selling decisions.
Several individuals minimize the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $235k to $690k despite inflation.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an onlline search on her name and came across her webslte; thank you for sharing. I sccheduled a caII.
Most Americans find it hard to retire comfortably amid economy downtrend. Some have close to nothing going into retirement, my question is, will you pay off mortgage as a near-retiree, or spread money for cashflow, to afford lifestyle after retirement?
Agreed, the role of advisors can only be overlooked, but not denied. I remember in early 2020, during covid-outbreak, my portfolio worth around 300k took a slight fall, apparently due to the pandemic crash, at once I consulted an advisor in order to avoid panic-selling. As of today, my account has yielded big fat yields, and leverages on 7-figure, only cos I delegate my excesses right.
this is huge! mind if I look up the advisr that guides you please? only invest in my 401k through my employer for now, but enthused about diversifying my investments for a prosperous financial future
Finding financial advisors like Whitney Kay Stacy who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
80% equities 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk.
Knowledgeable Investors know where and how to put money during a crisis in order to reduce risk and maximize returns. See a market strategist with experience if you are unable to manage these market conditions
I agree, having the right plan is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 100% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take till Q1 next year
Great gains there! mind sharing details of your advisor pleas? i've started gaining more cash flow with my employment and looking at putting money into stocks and alternative assets that can help build wealth over time
I've kept much of my savings in cash for safety, but I'm unsure if it's right for retirement. Contemplating investing $400K in stocks, as I've heard investors can profit in tough times. Unsure about my next move.
Yeah, I’m also closing in on retirement, and I have benefitted much from using a financial advisor. I didn’t really start early, so I knew the compound interest of index fund investing would not work for me. Funny how I pulled in more profit than some of my peers who have been investing for many years.
This caught my interest. I worry that I have a couple more months before retirement, and I want to switch to using a financial advisor, but I don’t really know how to find one.
*Marissa Lynn Babula* is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
My opinion for young people is you need to be both a dividend investor and a growth investor, basically how i made my first million also i use an FA, Olivia Rene Reyes. I started by investing $70k with her and she tripled it in 2 months and since then we've been doing business but i digress, so for example if I just got a 1000% gain on Tesla and then pulled 85% of the money out and went into a load of more stable dividend stocks like CVX So I would say diversify, but also use those growth opportunities to build the capital to invest in the dividend payers (or in cash flowing real estate)
Funny you mentioned this because i also work with Olivia Rene Ryes, since last year i invested $100k with her and made over 400k profit in less than 3 months
These are extremely useful rules for anyone looking to grow rich. Unfortunately, the majority of individuals that see this video will be unable to implement the ideas. We may not like to acknowledge it, but as Warren Buffett famously stated, investing is like any other profession: it takes a certain amount of knowledge. It's no surprise that some people are losing a lot of money during the bear market, while others are profiting by hundreds of thousands. I'm just not sure how they do it. I now have around $570k to invest in the market.
Dealing across multiple asset classes can reduce risk more effectively than putting all of your money into one. If you don't understand finances properly, see a financial consultant.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
'Grace Adams Cook' a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Additional earnings reports from major tech companies, driven by Nvidia, coupled with trader FOMO, could fuel a resurgence in market buying pressure. I'm considering investing over $300k, but I'm uncertain about risk mitigation strategies.
Nvidia stock is roaring like many did during the 1990s bubble. But this time around, the hype around new chips is happening in a more mature demand environment.
Accurate asset allocation is crucial, and some individuals use hedging strategies or allocate part of their portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.

I was part of the recent layoffs at Tesla and this bites hard. I am grateful that I kept some savings about; $600k and I am looking for ways to invest this into the stock market to generate good dividends to supplement for my monthly expenses.
Thats when you hire someone to manage your money. You need a financial-advis0r straight up! Even while $600k might seem like much, one bad decision might seriously deplete it.

The numbers don’t make sense to me. If someone makes 66% annually for 31 years. This means they will make the original amount over 6 million times. This means if he started his fund with one million. The million will become over 6 trillion.

Not sure anything list was unique to Jim Simons. All the strategies here have been used by most hedge fund managers since the 80s or 90s. He just has an amazing record. Side note, when people talk about the great fund managers, I wonder why people don't include Ed Thorpe.

Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.

Most newbies either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.
If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert. Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience.

In my opinion, investing is not about getting rich, but rather about achieving financial independence. To become a professional investor, you need a financial advisor. I succeeded by following the instructions of my financial advisor (Shana Bielich). I have no regrets so far.

I've been doing all of these things religiously, but my portfolio is still in great decline. I have lost over $200K in the stock market, and now I'm desperately trying to improve my portfolio. How do I turn tide around?
The market hasn't been good this year, but it is important you find stocks with market-beating yields and shares that at least keep pace with the market long term. For a successful long-term strategy you have to seek guidance from a broker or financial advisor.
Having an investment adviser is the best way to go about the stock market right now.I've been in touch with a coach for a while now mostly and I made over $200K within a short time
Sounds really great. I’ve been down a ton, and I’m only holding on so I can recoup. I really need help. Who is this investment-advisor that guides you?

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck.

Avoid hasty decisions based on short-term swings. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective, and most importantly, seek financial advice to make educated purchasing and selling decisions.

Most Americans find it hard to retire comfortably amid economy downtrend. Some have close to nothing going into retirement, my question is, will you pay off mortgage as a near-retiree, or spread money for cashflow, to afford lifestyle after retirement?
as most investing-related questions, the answer is, it depends.. my best suggestion is to consider advisory management

I've kept much of my savings in cash for safety, but I'm unsure if it's right for retirement. Contemplating investing $400K in stocks, as I've heard investors can profit in tough times. Unsure about my next move.
it's wise to redistribute your capital to mitigate risks during market fluctuations. Consulting a financial advisor can help simplify this process.

I recently dove into investing, namely dividend growth investing since it intrigues me. aiming to one day reach the big dogs.
taking note of this. also I did read about Olivia Rene Reyes on the web., quite a great resume she has
invest in stable stocks, my rule: if you previously liked the stock, then you should love it at a discounted price.
I was able to find her webpage and leave a mail after going through her credentials, i'm willing to make consultations to improve my portfolio

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise.

I would avoid the index funds, mutual funds, or specific stocks for the time being. The 5% fixed incomes are the safest bet for now. Save your cash for when the market actually shows sign of recovery.
This is why I've entrusted a fiduciary with my investmnt decisions. Many underestimate advisors until emotions lead to losses. My advisor crafted a tailored strategy aligning with my long-term goals, guiding entry and exit points for the equities I focus on. This has grown my portfolio to over $850k. My personal best so far
Melissa Maureen Ward, you can read up on her, she's quite known and her works speaks for itself.
If you're rotating out of performers and into underperformers, you're probably cutting the winners and adding to losers. If you held AMZN and Redbox 15 years ago, you'd have gradually gotten out of AMZN and added to Redbox, which has gone bankrupt since.
@@lawerencemiller9720 Melissa Maureen Ward is easily the best of the best. Put her to the test. I tried to break her and failed. Pleasure and profits await!!
I fear a housing crash due to people buying homes above asking prices with little equity. If prices drop, affordability and potential foreclosures may arise, worsened by future layoffs and rising living costs. I want to invest more than $300k, but I'm not sure on how to mitigate risk.
Consider reallocating from real estate to stocks. Severe recessions offer market buying opportunities with caution, as volatility can yield short-term trading prospects. Not financial advice, but it may be wise to invest, as cash isn't ideal in this period.
In my opinion, home prices will need to fall by at least 40% before the market normalizes. If you do not know whether to buy a house or not, it is best you seek guidance from a well-experienced advisor for proper portfolio allocation. So far, that’s how I’ve stayed afloat over 5 years now, amassing nearly $1m in return on investments.
this is quite huge ! what have you invested in ? much more info needed please ...
I receive financial advice from "Nicole Desiree Simon", a well-qualified and well-established wealth counselor headquartered in California. Her basic information can probably be found online.
When I curiously typed in her entire name to search online, I saw that her site was highly ranked and really professional. Thank you for sharing this; it has stoked my desire to achieve my objective again.
So let’s get this straight. To make these sort of returns I have somehow to get to be one of the most brilliant mathematicians in the world. I hadn’t realised it was that simple. Thanks for the advice. I’ll work on it !

I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Mrs Katherine Flores.
I'm surprised you know her. I've been making a lot of profits investing with her for a few months now.
Mrs Flores changed my life because of the high profits I got from investing with her.
You invest with Mrs Flores too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much

I was an unexperienced stock and forex trader i lost over $30K when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I find one source to recover my money, at least $5k profits weekly. Thanks so much Mrs. Maria Reyes
wow.. amazing to see others who trade with Mrs Maria Reyes, i'm currently on my 5th trade with her and my portfolio has grown tremendously.
I invest with Mrs Maria Reyes too, she charges a 20%commission on profit made after every trading session which is fair compare to the effort she put in to make huge profits.
this is not the first time i am hearing of Mrs Maria Reyes and her exploits in the trading world but i have no idea how to reach her.
As a first time investor I started trading with her, with just a thousand bucks. my portfolio is worth much more that now within just weeks of trading with her.
With the consistent weekly profits I'm getting investing with Mrs Reyes, there's no doubt she is the most reliable in the market. such a genius
How did you calculate the annual return of $100 for 31 years?
Any please help me with equation.?

In light of the impending recession and the fact that inflation remains above the federal reserve 2% target, several leading market analysts have expressed their views on how dire they believe the economy will be, next recession and how far stocks may go. I need advice on what investment to make because i want to build a portfolio for my children that will be worth at least 80,000 dollars
There are many interesting stocks in many industries that you could follow. You dont have to act on every Forcast. So i suggest you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best time to buy and sell stocks or ETFs you want to purchase.
Only a good FA guide will be enough to guide you through the current market volatility. I've been talking to an advisor for a while now, mainly because i don't have the experience or stamina to handle these recurring market conditions. The fact that he made over $300,000 proved that there is more to the market than the typical person is aware of. The best course of action now is to hire a financial consultant, especially for people who are nearing retirement.
Wow, would you mind telling me how i can use your service to get in touch with this financial advisor?

He has been providing both entry and exit points for the values i focus on. You can make a quick check on him.

Rate cuts commence in June 2024, taking 6-8 months to complete. A potential crash, if any, might occur by March 2025. The soft landing narrative is gaining traction, making this big recession everyone is calling for less likely. With $1 million from a business sale, I'm seeking profitable investment opportunities for the next 3 years.
The financial market is a reliable choice. Diversify your portfolio with I-bonds, stocks (ETFs, REITs, dividend-paying stocks), and bitcoin. Given your budget, I recommend hiring a fiduciary to ensure you receive professional insights for a fee.
Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

Hey, have you guys seen the market lately? My stock portfolio has taken quite a hit, My tech stocks have been plummeting. And also my energy sector investments have also been suffering. I have lost almost $120K in my stock portfolio. it's been a rough ride.
I think there are a few factors at play. Inflation is rising, and the Fed is talking about interest rate hikes. That's spooking investors. Geopolitical tensions are playing a role too. The ongoing trade disputes and conflicts are making everyone nervous.
When it comes to investing, the stock market can be a fantastic opportunity, but it is not without risk. My advisor thought me Diversification is essential to balance possible rewards and risk, to consider a combination of stocks, bonds, and other assets. It's a good idea to consult with a financial advisor who can help tailor your financial plan to your specific goals and circumstances
I get it, but I'm concerned about risk. What if I lose my savings in the market? Please who is this advisor that guides you?
I started out with a financial advisor called *Sharon Louise Count* Her honest approach gives me complete ownership and control of my positions, and her rates are incredibly affordable given my ROI.
I looked up the name and came across her web page, I went through her resume and I must say it was quite impressive. I reached out to her and I have scheduled a call with her.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.
I’ve been looking to switch to an advisor for a while now. Any help pointing me to who your advisor is?
There are a lot of independent advisors you might look into. But i work with Nicole Desiree Simon , and she is excellent. You could proceed with her if she satisfies your discretion. I endorse her

I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on a television program about the importance of investing and how he made $260,000 in 4 months from $80k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
That's true and you can imagine the profits people are making daily by just trading stock market or bitcoin
Investing in crypto and stock market is a good idea, a good trading system would put you through many days of success.
It is possible to produce superior performance provided you do something different from the majority. However, most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
I have been researching all this while for a digital asset to invest in and I found the crypto market to be the most profiting of them all, I'm definitely bouncing on it.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing Jeff O'Reilly been mentioned here also. Didn't know he has been good to so many people.
I am an Engineer pivoting into trading. I enjoyed every bit of this video. Thank you
You make an excellent case! . I’ll add 1 more point… Seeing my monthly dividend income grow is EXTREMELY motivating to continue investing . Buying growth makes sense intellectually, but during a bear market, watching my growth portfolio shrink…the motivation isn’t as high as it is for dividend investing. A lot of this is psychological!
It's crucial to have a well-thought-out strategy and not make impulsive moves based on short-term market fluctuations. Patience and a long-term perspective are key. You should consider a market expert to guide you.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. The numbers don’t make sense to me.
If someone makes 66% annually for 31 years.
This means they will make the original amount over 6 million times.
This means if he started his fund with one million.
The million will become over 6 trillion.
Yeah this is some of the funnyest clickbait trash finance videos ever. bros “could” be Barclays ceo with these retunrs. Yet he makes youtube videos.

Step 2 insider trade legally
Your presentation significantly understates the achievements of Simons and Rentec. The returns obtained were delivered with a small fraction of the risk (as measured by return volatility) incurred by the other icons to which he was compared with in this video.
Your title should read, “7 things for you to listen to while I make money on my TH-cam channel”.
Touché! 😂
66% return per year for 31 yrs, that is phenomenal, Jim only need invest his first $5000 for 31 yrs to make his net worth of 31 billion. The rest of money each year he earned he probably donated or spent them all.
You missed Rakesh Jhunjhunwala - who turned $100 into a Billion. On top of it, he managed his own money. Unlike others in your list.
Jim Simmons: How to Achieve a 66% Annual Return (7 Strategies):
1) Fundamental Analysis
2) Quantitative Analysis - find anomalies & profit bring before Xmas sell after
3) STRATEGY #2: Short-term Trends
4) Strategy #3: mean reversion , reversion predicting signals (Déjà vu)
5) Employ high AIQ doctors not investors
6) use other people’s money to invest
7) machine learning
I don’t think it can be replicated that easily
66% through 31 years starting with 30.000 dollar is 2 trillions return, are this dates right!??
66% annually seems exaggerated (clickbait?), but 30% per year on average is easily achievabile through value investing. Everest Formula strategy for instance, that doesn't require particular competence nor efforts, achieved 33% annualy from 1999 till now.
Agree. very powerful strategy
Actually he did,but for keeping it he keep limited the investors who could invest with him , there are interviews where he say that bigger bags would reduce profit
He did in fact achieve it. 30% is NOT easy

I think stocks with an upside potential are those who will have relevance even in the future, and we are already seeing it. 66% ist before fees, after fees he made "only" 39%. I suppose the other investors' performances are after fees=
$100 at 66% compounded over 31 years is not 600 million dollars. Right?
Yeap, it´s $665.810.637
Not sure anything list was unique to Jim Simons. All the strategies here have been used by most hedge fund managers since the 80s or 90s. He just has an amazing record.
Side note, when people talk about the great fund managers, I wonder why people don't include Ed Thorpe.
